Dr. Raleigh and the entire staff at Pioneer Dental are amazing. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist but this place has changed my attitude. Even the root canal was not as bad as I thought it would be. Dr Raleigh called me to follow up and see how I was doing. The whole staff is very welcoming and caring. From start to finish, this was hands down the most impressive dental visit I have ever had. I have not had a dental exam in about 7 years. Extreme pain had me calling at 8:30 am on a Saturday. Trina in the front office was friendly and concerned. After explaining my issues, she scheduled me right away. Karen, my x-ray guru, was very talented in able to get the images she needed while working around my gag reflex issues. She never showed irritation or frustration at having to replace the devices when I gagged them out of place. Dr. Bradley was a joy. He was very conscientious of causing further pain during the examination. He quickly discovered what was causing the pain and was able to explain in laymen’s terms how it needed to be resolved. Unfortunately for me, it is two root canals. While I am not looking forward to the procedure itself, it is very nice to know that it will be done in a place where every single staff person I met is friendly and welcoming.

Haven't been to the dentist in awile. Long while! Sorry to say. Was sitting up with a toothache at 2am friday night!dreading the thought of finding somewhere to go! These wonderful folks had me in before noon the next day! Willing to get er dun! With no insurance mind you! Originally I had an appointment with Gentle Dental down the street but when I saw the gigantic billboard downtown advertising $1 X-rays I made a quick U-Turn to see a dentist here. Despite being a walk-in with no appointment, they booked me in and I was able to see a dentist right away for an emergency filling! Brandy, the dental assistant, made me feel real confident and comfortable, and the Doc (Dr. Mike) has really soft hands and I was out of there in 45 mins! 5 stars! Thank you so much!

Hands down the the friendliest and most "real" dentist office I've been to. It's very easy to quickly tell that they genuinely care about your health and have your best interests in mind. I went to Pioneer because one of my molars had cracked in half from a poor filling done years ago. I had visited another dentist in the Canby area that wanted to perform a root canal, post, and crown on that tooth. I went to Pioneer for a second opinion. Glad I did. After close examination they determined that the tooth simply needed a well fitted crown and monitoring, nothing else. A year later the tooth has given me no problems, my bite feels great, and I saved a CONSIDERABLE amount by not having an unnecessary procedure performed on myself. Don't see myself going anywhere else for a long while.

Amazingly friendly staff and the Doctor is really nice. After our 5yo did a face plant and we feared his two front teeth got pushed upward. We googled a dentist and chose Pioneer Dental because of their reviews. I'm so happy we did. They squeezed us in within 45 minutes of my phone call. They are open until 7pm and Saturday’s by appointment so there’s lots of availability! He’s excellent with implants and they were the lowest price too! Very convenient location as well.

In the market for a new dental office? Look no further! The entire staff made me feel so very welcome. I needed an emergency root canal recently and I usually don’t enjoy going to the dentist as I get very nervous (from bad childhood experiences). But I got in right away and saw Dr. Cheah, who made me feel at ease with his wonderful upbeat personality. He was very informative and let me know what he was doing or about to do, every step of the way. Amazing! I also went back in for a deep cleaning and I saw the hygienist Desiree. Desiree is such a wonderful woman, who is very good at her job. She also made me feel very comfortable. She has a warm personality and she also let me know exactly what she was doing or about to do. My gums feel AMAZING now. She’s magical! The ladies up front will make you feel right at home! I’ve found a forever dental group!! And I couldn’t be happier!

I have been in the dental field for 25 year’s being a dental assistant. I moved back to the city after being at the coast in 2017. I knew I needed to find a dental office that’s good and conservative. I went to my old dentist from year’s ago in June. Well, I wasn’t impressed. They didn’t verify my insurance so I was out of network with them. I had some fillings that needed to be done. I had both tooth 4 and 5 filled. Number 5 has been bugging me ever since. Someone suggested Pioneer Dental. I was extremely impressed with the staff. Mandy was very thorough and verified my insurance and answered all my questions professionally! The Dentist I saw also very thorough. And pointed that 5 didn’t have a liner placed and the decay had been deep. Also, answered all my questions. My husband and I are on the books now for treatment that needs to be done. As a dental professional myself I highly recommend this office. Even when I go back to work eventually I’m going to stick with Pioneer Dental.
