Let's face it, no one wakes up and thinks "hooray, I get to go to the dentist today to get a crown!" If you're like me, you're the opposite. I woke up dreading the procedure. But after only a few minutes with Cecilia (hygienist) my mind was at ease. She said I might feel a slight prick or pain when she numbed by mouth but I must say I didn't feel a thing. She handled my cleaning effortlessly and then passed me off to Nicki (dental assistant) and Dr. Kyle for my crown. The full process (cleaning and crown) was completed in under an hour and half. Pretty amazing. The entire team at Oregon City Family Dentistry is fantastic; from the front office, to the doctors and anyone else in between. You'll be hard pressed to find someone that isn't kind, smart or helpful. Bottom line: if you are looking for a new dentist...look no more.

I have a HUGE phobia about going to the dentist. They were so good and patient with me ! I would highly recommend Dr. Annalisa Smith and her staff to anyone who has a phobia or not. They will work with you and not rush you. I can not thank them or praise them enough for how well they treated me . I had to have two cavities filled. They had to use nitrus with me and it was fine.. Their staff is awesome as well. I highly recommended. this office.

This is the best dentists' office I've ever been to. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and good-humored. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the first pain-free dental experience I've had: as a redhead, I'm resistant to lidocaine, but Dr. Kyle didn't give up. Two ordinary, dentist-initiated attempts at anesthesia; one attempt by the hygienist, who apparently is an anesthesiological genius; and one final, heroic-measures attempt by Dr. Kyle using a method no one has ever used on me before, resulting in, yes, my first-ever pain-free dental procedure. Amazing. Thank you, Dr. Kyle and Nicki, for keeping me laughing and giving this stay-at-home mom a truly enjoyable morning out of the house.

Thought I’d try them out. My first appointment I was told I had 9 cavities. I almost fell off my chair! They worked on 4 fillings and I’ve never had to have a filling redone in my entire life. Each one of these feelings had to have additional finish work done because of rough edges, and 1 was supposed to be filled with composite but they’d only removed half the silver and put half composite which doesn’t bond well in the long run, so I had them redo it. Sometimes they would have a different dentist in the office do the rework. I finally had to go to a different clinic. Nice people, but to be honest, I would not recommend the work.

This is a great family practice, husband and wife team of dentists who care. Their staff is always helpful and friendly. I've had all my dentistry, my cleanings, cavities and even a crown. Each time they solved my problems and helped me avoid future ones. The staff does great with my young kids too.

I have been a patient for about five years. Their service is excellent and I never feel like they’re taking advantage of me. The dentists are very honest and do what is absolutely necessary. They do not add unnecessary procedures. This is important when you choose a dentist.

I give OC Family Dentistry 4 stars only because nothing in this world is that perfect. They are pretty close to perfection tho! My kids love going to see Cecilia to get their teeth cleaned. She one of the most efficient Hygienists we have ever had.She is also very enjoyable to work with.The whole family loves everyone of the staff at OC Family Dentistry. They are all sooooooo super nice. thumbs up ladies and Mr. Kyle! That boy needs a Dodge Truck.

Wow, this place is amazing. I’ve had dental anxiety in the past and Stephaine, Annalisa’s Dental assistant made me feel so comfortable and put me at ease. The minute you walk through the doors, Emily and Melinda put you at ease. Their genuine warmth and concern radiates throughout the waiting room. Also, I can’t say enough about Dr. Kyle and Dr. Annalisa. In the past, I have had extensive dental work and they are hands-down the most skilled practitioners I have ever encountered. I knew I was in the best hands. As a bonus, they are caring and compassionate as well. So before you go to some big dental mill, give them a try. You won’t be sorry.

Oh I just love coming to this dental office. The entry greets one with lovely plants, the waiting area is clean, stylish, and cozy. Now let’s talk staff - Melinda is a rock star receptionist who always greets with a smile, she remembers patients! Procedures and equipment are explained and described, as well as the choices you might have. The office has state-of-the-art equipment as well as the best dentists in town. Very poor customer service and a absolute lack of communication. I was sent to a specialist after my first appointment to get a filling. Two appointments later I was sent back to Oregon city family dentistry with a temp filling(a hole in my tooth) only to get I filled. Afterward I was told I needed to go back to the specialist. So.....4 appointments. $1200, no permanent filling and a fifth appointment to see the specialist.....again.. hard not to feel scammed. And I honestly haven’t been to a dentist since because I have absolute lack of trust in them.

I have a very extensive dental history and have seen many many different dentists in my lifetime and hands down this team is the best. They are so honest and their technique is so good. I live in Beaverton and commute to Oregon City and have to take 3 different freeways just to see Dr. Smith. But it is totally worth!

Absolutely highly recommended! (And no, I am not related, although my last name is the same as the dentists here). They take such care and time in explaining all options regarding future treatment. It had been some years since I went to the dentist and I decided to try Oregon City Family Dentistry as it is close to my work. I was very impressed by the time and care they took with my cleaning and the fillings I had to have done subsequently. Dr. Julie Hughes was awesome, I was very scared of the Novocaine needles and she helped calm me and walk me through the injections. It may not seem like much but to have someone who not only understands the fear and does a great job means a lot. I already have my next cleaning scheduled!

Hands down the best Dentist's office I have ever been to. The whole experience was so easy. Lots of parking, huge waiting room with lots to look at and things for kids to play with, a front desk staff that is not only friendly but patient and super helpful. The Dentist was fun and the Hygienist was very careful about those xray bite things which I sooo appreciated. I had several cavities from not going to the Dentist for about 15 years but they didn't judge me, didn't push me to hurry and I felt safe there. If you have anxiety about going to the Dentist, this is the place to go!

We have been so very pleased with the dental care from Anna Lisa & Kyle! (I’m confident Julie is also excellent, or they would not have invited her into the practice.). They are both so professional, so competent, and the “frosting” on the cake is that they are so caring. That comes across when there are decisions to be made, like if a procedure can wait or should be done very soon. It also comes across when discussing finances. I have found that they do everything possible to make our dental care affordable. However, where I sense their care most is in the empathy the express. The dental work I experienced as a child left some sense of fear, or, at least apprehension, but their empathy has pretty much released that apprehension. We appreciate OCFD so much we recommend them to our friends. Simply stated, we are very grateful for the excellent and personable care we receive.

I absolutely love my new hygienist Cecelia. I had my old one for well over 20 years and was honestly a bit nervous going to someone new. She was very kind and welcoming, always telling me what she was going to do before she dug in. She made my day when she put some numbing gel on a sensitive spot on my gums before cleaning them. It was very painful before but not anymore! I told my husband that evening that I loved how clean my teeth felt and that I wished I could go more often...HONEST!! When I told him what Cecilia had done he said, "Why hasn't anyone done that for me before?" I felt the same way.

Dr.'s Kyle and Annalisa Smith are two excellent and caring professionals. Cecilia is my hygienist and her chair-side manner and quality of work is phenomenal. I can't say enough about how wonderful these people are! You'll see when you visit. (When you do visit, you'll probably see Melinda at the front desk. Both Dr. Kyle and Dr. Annalisa are great dentists! They always take time to listen to my concerns and make me feel comfortable. The entire staff is easy going, friendly, and efficient. They seem to really enjoy working there and each other's company. That creates an atmosphere of ease and calm, which is not always something I have found at previous dentists. They use the latest in high tech imaging and tools, as well as gentle hands-on care. My family knows we are in good hands when we visit for a cleaning or any other dental work. So I had some sort of tooth ache going on, hadn't been to a dentist for 10-15 years, turns out the teeth weren't too bad lol, my wife was referred here by a friend, and she made me an appointment. This place is rad. Everyone there is super friendly, great playlist and a Nintendo 64. My tooth artist was nicole. She was super cool, made the whole experience overall good. OMG! AWESOME staff and FANTASTIC dentist! I was visiting from Colorado and waiting while a family member finished with their appointment. I asked if they could fit me in, since another patient cancelled. They did and for a crown! In a very short time I left with a crown and a new smile. While I am at this, I will mention the WONDERFUL care that my 3 year old granddaughter received for her first cleaning. She was a bit anxious they helped her relax and feel happy about seeing the dentist for the first time. She left happy with a new dental care bag and a visit to the toy chest. She wanted to know when we could do it again. I highly recommend this dentistry office.

My experience at OC Family Dentistry is always a great one. This time it was a cleaning, but the care is always the same. Great service, patient, caring, and understanding, and also any extra work needed is always explained thoroughly, and options for treatment given. Having been to several dentist before finding this dentist, I never want to go anywhere else. I have never had any problems with their dental work, as I have had with other dentists. They always deliver what they say they are going to do, whether is has been filings, or crowns, or even just a cleaning, my experience has always been great.

a "new smile". Dr. Annalisa Smith is excellent. I had extensive dental work done. Her recommendations were right on and skill in which she performed was exceptional. They made sure I was comfortable and never in pain. This made for a good experience as I didn't need pain med. not even a Tylenol through the whole experience. Her assistant was friendly and skilled and helped me relax. I was greeted with smiles from the staff on each visit. I highly recommend.

My husband and I have been a patient of Oregon family dentistry for the last 13 years. When Doctors Kyle and Alyissa Smith over the dentistry at Oregon family dentistry I was a little concerned that my care would change but it didn’t it got better. The staff is wonderful. I never feel put off if I ask too many questions about my treatment. They are willing to work with my schedule if I have to make a change , they work very hard to fit me in if I have an emergency dental need they always fit me in. Dr. Julie has been seeing me for the last couple years and she has the funniest and the nicest dentist chair manner that I’ve ever met. She always tries to explain to me in plain English what she’s talking about when it comes to treatment of my dental work. Never fails to make me laugh. Kudos to the whole staff and love you Melinda at the front desk.

When you find a good Dentist Office, it is something to treasure. I travel from near Astoria because of how much I appreciate Dr. Kyle and his staff. From the friendly, personable greetings that Melinda provides at the desk which instantly make you feel welcome, to the quick and comfortable, yet complete cleaning that my hygienist Cecilia provides, to Dr. Kyle's wonderful chair side manner. It is understood that my time is important as I must get back to work; but the visits are never robotic or hurried, just efficient and friendly. I look forward to seeing them all every visit.

Had four implants recently installed replacing damaged teeth. Both dentists were involved and really caring, putting in lots of extra effort to make sure everything was perfect. Fabulous team coordination! The implants feel as natural as the original teeth and look a lot better. Great, friendly staff with a good sense of humor. Makes going to the dentist a fun trip and that's saying a lot!!! Been going to them since they opened the office. My hygienist is also really great! "Ten Stars"

The name of the business is exactly how you feel when you come in. Which is a big deal because I'm a nervous Nelly to be at the dentist for the 1st time in 5 years. Both doctors are great. They tell you exactly what they feel is the best treatment for you. I wanted a crown for cosmetic reasons, and was told that wouldn't be good for that tooth. I did get others and have a beautiful new smile. I trust these doctors, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good honest dentist.

She had to bring her young children with her since her husband was out of town. I feel this was above and beyond what I expected. I have been a patient there for over 40 years.
