I found Dr. Carson Kutsch very easily on google when I typed in "Dentist office near Albany Oregon" his practice had the best reviews, naturally I called in made my first cleaning, then from there my new patient exam and then I had a wisdom tooth pulled on November 28th. I chose Dr. Carson Kutsch for my dentist for one, any other dentist that I had ever been to had always told me I was born without wisdom teeth. But the technology and the education levels at Dr. Carson Kutsch office is far suburb than any office I've ever been too. The operation to remove my wisdom tooth was nearly painless. I was completely awake, no pain during the surgery and it was fast. Note I only had one wisdom tooth but they even put more than one stitch in. I care for my dental hygiene. When I go to the dentist I want them to let me know if there is something I can improve on. One of the reasons I love this place is the atmosphere, they play country music (which I love) the staff is all very welcoming. When I went in originally for my teeth cleaning they are quick but detailed. They thoroughly inspect all teeth and though I don't have any pain when getting my teeth cleaned they do not try to rush through a cleaning to move onto the next person. My new patient exam was more detailed than anything I've ever been through at a former dentist. They take pictures to compare through the years you are with them, picture of your teeth, and profile. That is important for me because I came from a family with not the greatest teeth or jaws. When I was younger I needed an expander and braces. Overall if you are thinking of going to a new dentist I would recommend Dr. Carson Kutsch.

Dr. Kutsch and his entire team are amazing! They use the lastest technology to examine everything to do with your mouth, from the jaw and facial bones on out. The doctor creates a comprehensive plan that allows patients to begin budgeting for procedures that may be necessary over the next few years, allowing you to be proactive rather than reactive. The dental techs are incredibly kind and talented people, using every effort to make you comfortable and mitigating any sensitivity you may have during your cleaning. The price for all of this amazing care is extremely reasonable, even for a person without dental coverage. I highly recommend Dr. Kutsch and his team to anyone with (or without!!) teeth.

An absolutely great office with caring, friendly, go out of their way to help, staff. They got me in quickly, found the problem, gave me no pressure options, and gave comfort and care. More amazing is when the doctors called me in the evenings on two separate occasions just to check on me and ask if I had any questions or problems. I have nothing but anxiety when I go to the dentist. Though I have taken good care of my teeth, it is always a personal battle with the anxiety. A family member insisted I see Dr. Carson maintaining I would be comfortable and confident in his work. Carson Kutsch DDS definitely sets the bar for customer service and dental service. Dr. Kutsch and the hygienists educate me every time I visit on how to better care for my teeth. I had no idea oral health was linked to heart health, or that pH played a role in the development of cavities. Unfortunately, I did need to have quite a bit of work done. Dr. Kutsch and his crew were awesome from step 1! They walked me through step by step what I needed to get done, all insurance coverage questions and even set up an appointment during my lunch hour (12-1pm) so I didn't miss any work! I walked out by 12:50pm with my entire right side of work complete and feeling great to move on with my day! I have had experience in the past that were NEVER like this. I was comfortable the entire time during the procedures and every step was explained. Dr. Kutsch spent time making sure the feel in my mouth after procedure was spot on!! Our previous dentist barely knew who we were. Several things he should have caught earlier, uh huh. Anyway YAY for KUTSCH DENTISTRY in Albany. This office impressed me in several way: 1. All the staff were cheerful, upbeat, and very professional. I got a great teeth cleaning with an actual give and take conversation about where I need to clean better and WHY. 2. This is the most Hi-Tech private practice I have ever been in. Current and appropriate technology is in use from walking in the door to signing out. 3. Dr. Kutsch personally calls you, hours later, to make sure the patient had a positive experience and that you're not in pain or other problem. 4. I haven't taken very good care of my teeth or gums for awhile. I came out w a plan of attack to take my mouth back to health, appointments set up, and line-item estimate, in order of importance, and estimate so I can budget as needed. 5. Oh! They accept my CareCredit card so I can get 0% fnancing on work over $200.00. Rockin'!!

Dr. Kutsch and his staff prepared a dental treatment plan to address these issues while there is still tooth intact enough for a crown. Seven years ago when the office first opened I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kutsch himself along with his team when they came to my restaurant to celebrate their Grand Opening. I have the pleasure of taking care of them as the waiter for the party, along with some wonderful conversation I was also given a business card some great smile’s along with the biggest boost and positive energy I had seen in quite some time. Years later I have finally decided after coming back to the area from Seattle to pay a visit and begin a care plan, and along with my initial check up and cleaning I was introduced to the rest of the team that was ever so comforting open-minded professional kind considerate and just mounds of positive energy throughout the offices. Inside the office are individual rooms that are separated mostly of clear glass with some frost which gives a classy, distinguished salon like feel and atmosphere which gives comfort to one of the most difficult places for many to visit which is the dentist. This office brings comfort, desire and gives an absolute want to stay up-to-date on dental. The dentist and owner himself is a very kind warm and wonderful man, and certainly a good looking one as well!

From getting a rose at my first visit to a touching handwritten thank you note and Starbucks gift card in the mail for referring a friend, they've treated me like a VIP. They never made you feel guilty for letting dental care slide, just give personalized advice on how to care for your smile from here on out. At the first visit they gave me a detailed plan of everything I'd need to do to get my smile in tip-top shape, complete with cost and insurance coverage estimates. When I needed a crown they did all the steps in one appointment! You get to watch on the screen while all your information is entered, and they are always happy to answer your questions - in layman's terms! The staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. A whole new dental experience! Dr. Kutsch and his team are 21st century professionals with a highly intentional state of the art dental practice. Their use of digital photography with panoramic and portable x-ray machines lets you see your teeth like you've never seen them before...from all angles, giant sized and in 3D! Dr. Kutsch is clearly a wizard with the computer as well as with his state of the art dental practice. I went in for a second opinion after going to see my Salem dentist for a toothache on a tooth that already had a crown. They told me I should probably have an implant and the bill would be $5000! With no dental insurance, I looked for a dentist that would be familiar with implants, to get another assessment and hopefully a lower cost for the implant I was told I needed. I found Dr. Kutsch and made my appointment on-line, and got an appointment almost immediately (I was in pain). I was ushered in within 5 minutes of my appointment time for a quick and painless panoramic x-ray, and then seated in the examining room. A few questions from the assistant re: my health status, etc., and Dr. Kutsch came in, introducing himself as Carson. He verified some info with me about my problem, did a quick exam of my mouth and then showed me what he was seeing in the x-ray images. The cool thing was that the computer was positioned so that I could very easily see the screen and follow exactly what he was seeing and saying! Imagine my surprise when he told me that he did not see that it would be necessary to go to an implant, and that he would recommend saving the tooth with a crown replacement! This would of course be less invasive, less costly, less painful and less time-consuming and he predicted the potential for it being a successful medium or long-term solution at over 80% probability. Add to this that if it failed anytime within a 3 year period, he would credit the amount paid for the crown to the next level of intervention (a root canal, NOT an implant)! Needless to say, after hearing this careful analysis, I went for the crown and they did it on the spot! The crowns are made in-house, there was no temporary necessary and I was in and out with my new crown within 2 hours with no return visits required. While I won't say the procedure was fun, I did feel like it was as fast, comfortable and efficient as possible. Best of all, I was treated with respect, and fully included in the decision-making by being provided with full information about the reasons for the procedures I might need, the options he considered, and a step-wise, lower to higher cost analysis. Others have written about the office waiting room, but that makes the first impression when you walk in.... This dentist has considered the subjective experience and comfort of his patients from the minute they walk in the door. You are greeted immediately with a smiling and pleasant receptionist and seated in a waiting room with multiple considerations for your comfort.... not only are there different types of chairs to suit individual needs, some with adaptive supports for those with back issues, but there are fresh hot and cold beverages to be enjoyed, again with multiple options for different preferences, and great healthy snacks including fresh fruit! Big wow factor with this dental office for me and I have only listed some of the remarkable service features. Best of all, my new crown seems perfect after only a couple of weeks and the tooth colored porcelain makes it unnoticeable; a nice change after all the gold! Thanks "Carson" and team. Your special efforts do not go unnoticed, even if your crowns do. :)

First off I would consider myself to have moderate dental anxiety. Traci was so sweet and greeted me imediately upon entering the waiting room and shortly after Julianne took me in the back for an X-Ray and photos, she is so dear and personable! I did not feel like I was at a dental appointment, her room had a lovely armchair with a blanket and she pulled my X-ray on the TV in front of me as I lounged! I honestly felt like I was at the spa. THEN I had the best cleaning I've ever experienced in my life with McKenzie. Typically I leave the cleaning appointment with a headache but not with her! She is OUTSTANDING and so efficient. I was so impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of this office. I could not speak highly enough of them. Thank you!

Then i met Carson back in 2006 when he first took over the practice and have been amazed ever since, the personalized phone calls checking on you after your appointments, Sarah,Stephanie,Alison,Jenny, Juliann the staff all friendly easy to talk to, interested in what you have to say. Able to talk at ease and work out the best plan for you as an individual. Have to love seeing a business ran not for money but the joy of helping others and the after visit Roses are a nice touch :)

This is still my favorite dental shop. This visit AJ did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth but also educating me about what's going on with them. She was gentle, professional and very thorough. She presented me with some challenging choices, not because she is trying to be difficult or behave in a superior way, but because she really cares about my dental health. I think it's harder to do that then to just clean teeth and not say anything. She also put up with my humor (the way I get around my phobia of dentistry) and the bit of resistance (whining) I presented when faced with the challenges she laid down. Even the folks who scheduled my follow up appointment helped me smile and had products I needed on hand. April 17 Yesterday I had a filling at CK. I am very difficult to numb up: novocaine has to be right on the nerve and it takes longer than usual to take effect. And I'm really nervous about the whole thing. To cover I make jokes--some of em aren't bad but mostly the staff puts up with me. They are very kind, and Carson is dead on with his needle and his drill. The folks who assist are excellent, as are the staff who clean teeth and educate. Even the folks up front are very kind and patient with me. I can't say enough about this office. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I recently had a huge reconstruction of my mouth done. Julianne did all my X-rays, photos, etc. to make a plan for all the work I needed done. Then Dr Kutsch began the process. After many pulled teeth, a 6-tooth bridge, as well as 11 new crowns, I now have a full mouth of nice looking white teeth. I am very happy with the final result!! In addition, I am so impressed with the office layout & advanced technology!! The gals who assisted on my procedures were all fabulous!! My experience with the entire staff was highly satisfying. I normally hate going to the dentist, Dr Carson Kutsch's office is the exception. Right away walking in the door you can just see and tell that it's different. It's well designed for the flow of patients and I never felt rushed at all. The staff was very welcoming and even gave each patient a rose as they left. I was able to take mine home to my wife which scored me extra points at home! The office really went above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable there were even massagers in a few of the lobby chairs. At the end of his day Dr Kutsch called me to check on me and make sure I didn't have any questions and we both understood what happens next and what order I want to do things in. I have never felt like my Dr cared before when I was at the dentist but Dr Kutsch showed he really does do this to help and care for people. I look forward to being a patient for many years to come.

After eight long years of avoiding dentistry due to a severe anxiety disorder, I returned to find the most caring and compassionate practice one could have ever hoped for. The patience and professionalism of the staff combined with such a comforting atmosphere has made one of my deepest fears simply vanish. Upon my first visit, I was literally terrified to enter the building for my intake session. However, Traci's warm smile and greeting immediately put me at ease. The appointment with Stefanie was the most fun experience I have ever had in a dentist's office. Her ability to connect with her patients and make the entire intake relaxing and understandable was all the proof I needed that I had made the right decision for my oral care. Today, Dr. Kutsch and Sarah frequent inquired as to how I was doing and were most accommodating my specific needs. Stefanie even stopped what she was doing and swung by during the procedure just to make sure I was alright and offer encouragement. Later in the evening, Dr. Kutsch went the extra mile, taking the time to call to make sure I was recovering and answered any questions I had. The process, which involved a tooth extraction and a crown, was, dare I say, enjoyable. Julianne assisted Dr. Kutsch and was so tentative and understanding to my situation---she truly is a professional and Dr. Kutsch did an amazing job getting me back to health. He is a great dentist, he doesn't do just your typical drill & fill dentistry, he looks at the person as a whole and thinks outside the box when it comes to minimally invasive dentistry.
