They look forward to their appointments and are always asking when they get to go again. Dr. J and his staff make everything so comfortable and easy. Very attentive staff. My daughter has a hard time going to the dentist even for a cleaning and the staff is very patient with her and know the tricks to help her relax in the chair. Dr. Jacobson is awesome. He's patient and kind, and so is his staff. My middle "wild child" needed a broken tooth extracted at 18 months. The whole appointment was no big deal- even with the shots! Now at three years old, for a little procedure, they turn on the movie of his choice and he's in the zone. So many great distractions. Highly recommend!

Jacobsen Pediatric Dentistry is absolutely magical for toddlers and small kiddos (and I'm sure big ones too)!! Every employee there clearly "gets" kids and enjoys working with them. Everything is designed to be fun and easy. Wonderful bedside manner for us anxious parents too! My three girls have been through cleanings, fillings and more with this dentist and every visit has been an absolute success, even with very young, nervous kiddos. I cannot say enough good things - Dr. Jacobsen and his staff are absolutely incredible and I recommend them every chance I get!!

I was very apprehensive about bringing my son to the dentist for the 1st time as he can be difficult and moody. However, this office is AMAZING!! The waiting room is warm and inviting with a train table and toys for kids to play with. Mom or dad can sit next to the exam table with their child. There are TV's in the ceiling which my son just loved! The hygienist was awesome with him and very patient. The doctor is also very calm and patient. The exam/cleaning went flawlessly and then he got coins to pick out a couple of small toys from the coin machines up front. The whole experience was better than I could have hoped for and my son left smiling and happy with his new toothbrush and bouncy balls. He is very excited for his next visit. Highly recommended!!

I wish I found this place sooner ! My son had a horrible experience with a regular dentist. After that experience, I wanted to take all my kids to see a pediatric dentist and found Jacobsen Pediatric. I will never go anywhere else after taking my kids here. It has been nothing but an easy, low stress experience every visit. Staff are extremely friendly and really care about each patient. Dr. Jacobsen is great !! Really listens and shows concern if your child is uncomrtable in any way. A great atmosphere for the kids to be in. Would give them a 10 star :)

Best dentist and hygienists ever! My 3.5 year old daughter has a cavity and I was very worried about her exam because she is super shy and anxious, especially around strangers. Our hygienist was awesome at showing her everything and explaining what she was doing in a fun way! I was amazed they were actually able to clean her teeth and examine them. Over the years we have been to several different pediatric dentists but I have never been as happy as I am at Jacobsen. All members of the staff showed genuine care and respect for my kids. After spending hours looking for a dentist for my son (who needed pretty extensive work done), I landed with Jacobsen Pediatric Dentistry. I'm so glad I took the time to research all the dentists in the area! All of the staff are super nice and Dr. Jacobsen is amazing! I feel like the dentist probably sets the mood in the place, so when everyone is calm and happy, you know they appreciate who they work for. I really did not want to put my son under for the work that needed to be done (crowns, fillings, and a tooth pulled). Dr. Jacobsen agreed that the work didn't need to be done while he was under so we set several appointments and we are now on our last one. Before I found this place, there had only been ONE place I could find that would bother doing the work "the hard way" with my son awake. I drove an hour and a half each visit for a dentist that was also out of network. When I moved to Oregon City, I decided to start over with the burden of finding someone. I'm so completely happy I found Dr. Jacobsen who is exactly what I was looking for, plus five minutes away and in network!

We started taking our two kids to Jacobsen Pediatric a year ago after trying several other pediatric dentists in the Portland area. Before coming to Dr. Jacobsen, our kids did not like going to the dentist at all. They are now ages 3 and 4 and they get excited to go get a cleaning. There is never a wait, there's so much stuff for the kids to do in the waiting room that it's a shame we don't ever have to spend much time in there. The staff is always very friendly and they make the whole visit all about the kids. This is by far the cleanest, friendliest, most enjoyable pediatric dentist offices we've seen. Highly recommend!

Jacobsen Dentistry was amazing!! I went in for my sons first check up at age 4. I thought I was going to get a look or be in and out so fast they wouldn’t notice us anyway. This Dentistry is great they were super nice, clean, and professional but still so down to earth. They have a cute beach theme to the office with organized clean toys and things for the kids to do. They have flat screens on the ceiling for kids to watch while the dentist cleaned his teeth. Also goes through the cleaning and checking process in such a kind patient manner, explaining how everything works. Then to top it off they give a goodie bag with coins where you can pick out fun little toys. My son went up on the no cavity wall, where he has a chance to be in a drawing for a toy. The dentist sent a thank you card, hand written with a sticker to my son. He asked to go to the dentist everyday. Thank you so much for the great experience!!! We will be seeing him for all of our kids.
