I have been a patient here for 4 years. Did my ortho and now all my cleanings. The last cleaning was done by a girl who was extremely rough and careless so today that I had my cleaning by Kenda Wavra I was so happy and satisfied with her work; she was gentle, fast and very professional. From now on I will be booking my appointments with her.

Went in for an Exam, X-rays and a Cleaning (which I didn't receive the cleaning) I saw Dr. Matsumoto and he informed me that there were a few things wrong with my dental health, but decided to start off with " I think you may need a Root Canal" didn't even want to start off with the second option which was to place a crown on a tooth before we thought about the Root Canal. Also the DR was Bickering with the Dental Hygienist about what computer screen he needed to look at in the middle of the exam and arguing with her about how many of something she counted incorrectly. Lastly I have never been to a Dentist and had an exam and been asked to just "swallow" my spit and blood during an exam, isn't that what the water and suction is for? Not willing to bring my business back due to the fact that their work area is not professional and I feel like they are just trying to get $$. $59.99 isn't worth it, would rather go to Bright Now!

Dr. Tutt pulled two teeth for me yesterday .. an upper and a lower ... and I don't believe I've ever had ANY dental work done before, in which I felt completely relaxed the entire time. GENTLE was totally the operative word, and this morning I woke up refreshed and pain free. Definitely my best experience in a dentist's office, and I've had a lot of dental work!

I bought insurance through this place so I could have my bridge replaced that failed after 15 good years by the dental school. Dr Bailey removes my bridge and dose a build up on one tooth and installs a temporary bridge while I wait for the permanent bridge to be built. Within 2 days the build up filling and bridge fell out. I return for my permanent bridge to be installed and he fills the filling/build up again and sends the bridge to be re-done. So I come back again to have the new bridge installed in July. By October I report to the clinic I have a horrible taste coming from the sight. They have me come in for the cleaning in November and ex rays. At no point did they inform me that the work they did had failed and caused infection in my root from bridge not sealed correctly and failed build up for 3rd time. I am still telling them something is wrong I am getting excessive draining from between a healthy tooth and the bridge along with a very strange gap on between the tooth and bridge when flossing. They get me to come back for a consult for a root canal. This doctor said I didn't need one then talked to the Dr. in private. While I was sitting there i showed the assistant on my ex rays where I feel the gap and asked again why it was like that. Still no answer only another bill for consult. I am now apx. $5,000.00 into a bridge replacement. And they tell me I need to come back and have my gum laser open to clean around the bridge and possible root canal because the filling he installed was too deep causing the tooth to be sensitive. I went home very upset thinking something is very very wrong with this picture. His partner got on the phone with me and listened but still failed to tell me what was really wrong. By Saturday I was sick and face swollen, out of fear of a blood infection I started some antibiotics and called my old dentist that I had no insurance though. Dr. Kim got me right in and with 1 ex rays showed me the problem and started me on 10 day antibiotic treatment. All the work I just had done had to be done all over again and emergency root canal caused by the bridge not sealed and filling under bridge failed causing the root to be infected and almost a perfectly healthy tooth in front of that. So, 1 bridge and build up/filling has now cost me another $4805.00 to have done correctly. Now I have spent apx $9,000.00. I will be demanding all money returned from first dentist. If you feel something is wrong get a second opinion because tooth infections can be life threatening. Especially upper teeth. Don't go here if you value your mouth. The 1 star is for the people who tend the front dest. They were polite.

From the moment I walked in the staff at Hilltop Smiles were beyond friendly and accommodating. Stephanie was so welcoming and put my anxiety to ease. They were able to squeeze me in by chance and we're amazing about making me not feel self conscious about the state of my teeth. Dr Tutt is patient, funny and happy to offer solutions. I highly recommend them!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Tutt for a couple years now, he has been great since day one when I was embarrassed by the status of my teeth/gums. One of my favorite things here though are the staff. They have been phenomenal to work with. They have been so kind, considerate, and understanding of things going on with me. I have really enjoyed working with this whole team, I love seeing the positive work environment they seem to have with each other. I guess to sum it up, I never dread going to the dentist, I look forward to it.

I have to say that my first time in “the chair” at Hilltop Smiles was really pleasant. Dr. Matsumoto is a very funny and a very caring person and the rest of the staff is absolutely wonderful as well. The front gal Dannie was also VERY helpful and accommodating. I’m thankful for everyone who works there because they sincerely care for their patients and that’s hard to find. No judging or scolding! Love it! #BLESSED

Terrible front desk service. They don't listen to voicemails, so don't bother leaving one. Kept sending my personal records to a family member- HIPPA violation much? Ridiculous. When asked for more numbing topical during procedures dentist would get annoyed. Probably better to just sit through the pain. Also, I paid for a crown, fully paid for and they decided to "hold on" to it until it was ready to put on and they lost it and won't remake/refund it.

The team here is incredible. They are extremely kind and professional. I had an urgent need for a root canal, they offered me an appointment that day 35 minutes later. Dr. Tutt did everything he could at the time, took care of my pain, and the tooth. He was gentle, and took extra time to make sure everything was taken care of from the cause, the pain, the financial aspect. Everything was covered and it was covered with honesty and an explanation. They offer flexible payment plans and are reasonably priced. The space is beautiful and comfortable. I Can’t say good enough things about this place and the people working there. I highly recommend going here.

It is ok. They are nice folks. I think this office suffers from inserting less graceful profit maximizing tactics into their business, which is somewhat off-putting. I signed up for their $111 insurance plan 7 months ago, and found it was expired and I have to again pay $111 to re-instate it, even though I don't believe I ever used it - I am not even sure if I used it, because the billing is so obfuscatingly hard to understand, I get lost and need some legalese expert to interpret the fine print. If I remember correctly, they even have this sales/financial person on staff, that seems close to 100% dedicated to explaining their cumbersome 'plans'. All I really want is a dentist that I can cash-pay, for reasonable amounts. They are nice here however, the customer service is great. It is just difficult as a cash pay patient to make it work without paying premium prices. You have to basically scheme your way into regular prices by using a type of weird pseudo negotiation or coupon clipping. That being said, I have a $200 off $600 coupon, and if it holds true on my next visit, and they don't insert several 'add ons' that pad the bottom line, I will update this in Oct, with results and opinion.

The last two dentists I've gone to have left me feeling dirty. I hate going in for a check-up and leaving with a $10,000 quote to fix everything wrong with me. The first time I went to this office, they were really nice and asked me what my dental goals were, and I left not feeling so overwhelmed. I had one bad experience with a "substitute" hygienist who must have been trained by sadists, he treated my mouth like it was his punching bag. Luckily, the Dentist heard the commotion, and stepped in to apologize and get another person to help me. I've been there about 6-7 times now, and I will never go anywhere else. The reception team is awesome, and so is the hygienist team. I like them so much that I'm taking my 2-year old in for his first appointment.

People usually don't review dentists (who likes to go to the dentist?), however these folks really go the extra mile. They accept new clients like me, work with your schedule to set appointments, are experts with insurance and explained everything, every step of the way. Professional and personal, I recommend them highly.

This place is great. The front desk, the staff, the doctors...not one bad experience so far. I've met the dentist, periodontist, orthodontist, endodontist, hygienist, receptionist, all the "ists"...and all the "ists" were professional, friendly, and did convey a genuine interest in your well-being and getting the necessary work completed to give you the results you want. A practice that brings all the doctors to you. My previous negative experience with other dentists left me skeptical, but this office was conveniently located nearby, so I gave them a shot. Dr. Tutt set the tone on our initial consultation with a positive and progressive treatment plan, and I have finally had some work completed that I have put off for 10+ years simply because my visits to other practices left things unfinished and complicated. I am continuing to see Dr. Tutt and all his "ists" and am looking forward to finally, at 33, getting the smile I've always wanted.
