Professional and quick. Got a wisdom tooth pulled and gone in half hour. Didn't go numb before trying to pull out the tooth but probably because I had some inflammation around my tooth, one quick shot and no more pain.

I am very disappointed with the experience today. I received a call to confirm a 2pm appointment and when Austin showed up for that 2pm appointment he was told his appointment time was at 3. So he left and came back and then was told that his appointment was actually at 2 and had to be rescheduled. It was difficult for me to arrange to get him to this appointment and now it had to be rescheduled, not to mention the anxiety and buildup of him going to the dentist to begin with. This was not fair to him. The work needs to be done, and he will have to experience this anxiety all over again. I do not appreciate that service at all.

With my insurance plan ending soon, I needed to get to a dentist ASAP. While it was apparent that they fill up quickly, the team at Advantage Dental was able to get me in for a consultation within a few days of contacting them due to a cancellation. They were then able to see me that same afternoon for the rest of my work. While I don't think this is typical and I know I got lucky, the team was incredibly kind, helpful, and supportive. Being someone who gets very anxious at the dentist, the dental assistant, Preston, calmed my nerves with ease by keeping me laughing and distracted. Both appointments were an absolute breeze because of him. Thank you, Preston!

The assistant was excellent. Dr Chang's lack of compassion, and or lack of understanding of the reality of pain. And it's affect on the patients healling, is a glaring deficit in his skill set. To pull seven teeth all in the lower front jaw. Of a 62 year old sick dissabled man. And offer nothing more than some Tylenol for pain control. Is nothing less than a cruel insult. Shame on you Dr Chang. I felt like a steer bring rushed threw the shute on the water to slaughter.

Lovely clinic with lovely people, supportive and caring for their patients along with incredibly kind receptionists, they feel like a real family in the office. Would recommend to anyone I know especially knowledgeable, they really know what they are doing.

We had a deal for $ 159 a month for my daughter's teeth. they would pay with this automatic payment. the first 2 months they took the money from my credit card. In the following months they did not collect the money. I called three times. they said there was a situation to worry about the error and said they would correct the situation. but the problem is not solved. I called again. they sent me a new document and told me to sign and return. they have sent the document and I have sent it back. 3 months have passed since I still did not collect the money from my credit card. now the debt accumulated. I can't pay it at once. I've handed them over and over again. still no solution. they make people suffer because of their mistakes.

I have the same problem with Dentist that I don't know as I do with Auto Mechanics that I don't know. I went to a Dentist who told me after exam that I needed 10 things, ("caps & crowns"etc."), done to my teeth. As I don't have dental insurance thought I'd get a second opinion. Went to another dentist and he told me I had 10 things that I needed done with my teeth, but they were completely different from what the first dentist told me! Recently went to see Dr. Almnlln at Advantage Dental in O.C. for another opinion. After X-Ray and evaluation he told me that all I needed was to get my teeth cleaned in the next few months and to follow up on a yearly basis. Any Dentist who doesn't want to see me is the Dentist that I want to see! This is where I'll be going for my dental care.

If Dr. Joseph had his way I would have gotten a root canal and an extraction that were completly unnecessary. I went in back in Jan for a mild gum infection caused by my toung ring. He tried to tell me the tooth was dead and needed a root canal. I said no and demanded a second opinion. Specialists sees me and says no root canal needed, just a cleaning and antibiotics. Go back to see the Dr. for the cleaning, and the hygienist didnt know she waa supposed to clean the infection so I had to go back again. Dr. Joseph then tried to focus on a filling instead of cleaning the infection and giving me the antibiotics. Cut to last month I got the stupid fillings he was so obssesed with. I was left with a high bite that caused massive pain. I went in for an adjustment and he had to numb me cuz the ligamemt was so inflammed. But no infection was present That same day when the numbness wore off I was still sore so I used heat to try and calm it down. Huge mistake. My whole cheek swelled up and got bruised. The next day he tries to tell me an infection popped up overnight so I would need a root canal, only my insurance only covers stainless steel crowns. Dr says he refuses to do a steel crown so schedules me for an extraction. When I said my insurance doesnt cover implant, he said "well you're young, maybe in a few years when you get better insurance you can get an implant" I called my insurance who were floored that he refused do to the crown and transferred me to another clinic for a second opinion. Turns out when he gave me the shot he caused a hemotoma which is why it swelled and bruised and the pain got worse. There's no infection, just a hemotoma and inflammed ligament. Screw this guy, seriously.

I came into this clinic by referral from my primary dentist to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted. Doctor Kae Cheng was my doctor this day and he was absolutely amazing! He was gentle and kind and would warn me ahead of time if it was going to be a little rough. I'm so happy I was referred to him. I have heard horror stories of getting wisdom teeth taken out but he and his assistant were absolutely wonderful. The clinic itself was very clean and professional.

Amazing service and care. I needed emergency care for my niece and nephew and Sara went out of her way to help me navigate OHP to get them covered. The dentist and assistants were very helpful and encouraging to both teenagers who were in a lot of pain. A good plan has been made to get their dental issues taken care of. I am so thankful. We were assigned a different dental group in OHP but even though we live in SW Portland I chose to continue coming to the Oregon City group. I am so thankful for their support and care.

After filling out my intake forms I was refused service bc of an infection I had back in February. I was told I would need to bring in a clearance form from my Dr. before I could be seen. It appeared there was little understanding of my condition as it was not something that I should have been turned away for. I was told as much when I contacted my Dr. It was also annoying that I needed to return after my initial evaluation to get a cleaning as I was not able to schedule everything for one day. That was all I needed and wanted from my visit. I have changed my dental insurance and will not be returning to Advantage Dental.

I was sent to them because I had to have 2 extractions and I have high anxiety. From the beginning everyone was aware of my anxiety and did nothing. When I arrived to the appointment I was told if I wanted nitrous or any other kinds of oral sedation I'd have to reschedule and he wouldnt be available for 2 more months. I have already waited months so I just let them numb me and do the procedure. I cried and shaked through it very scared. Then I was prescribed an antibiotic I am allergic to . I had to wait at the pharmacy for the dentist to fix the antibiotic.

When I arrived for my filling it was with some trepidation, but as I sat in the chair I was given a numbing gel that made this the beginning of the most pain free filling I’ve ever had! The assistant then placed a bite block in my mouth and lovely soft piece of cotton in my cheek to protect it! The procedure was so smooth and painless, that I was able to drift off into a zen like state of meditation! Before I knew it I was done and back to the real world of traffic and crazy drivers! Thank you Advantage Dental Oregon City!!

The receptionist, Sarah, was my HERO today. My dentist had messed up my referral, and she called to have them edit it, and then she expedited it. I was really overwhelmed because of how much pain I’ve been in with a specific tooth & she really saved me today! The dental assistant, also named Sarah, was really funny and helped keep my anxiety about dental work at ease. Dr.Chang was quick and efficient. Thank you all so much!

Edit from my last Review: The last dentist wasnt the pediatric dentist but just the general dentist, who thought that he would get better care from the pediatric one, which I greatly respect. What is still just sits a bit uneasy for me is that they made the appointment and not even 10 minutes later we were called because she made it in error, and in that short time forgot that I had specifically asked for the same doctor and offered to wait longer for the appointment, but then immediately put a 5 year old with a dentist that isnt a pediatric dentist. I'm not saying that he couldnt do that job... but that's why we have doctors for children. So we had to leave work, twice and miss time for the same appointment... I'm guessing that the same doctor is no longer in the office, and the new pediatric dentist seems nice. She did well with my little one, and handled all the small weird technical things well.

It was very frustrating after spending 4 hours 4 weeks ago setting up my daughters appointment and confirming your office had all the necessary insurance information for billing. On the day of my daughters appointment, the receptionist could not find the information in your system and my daughter lost her appointment slot. She had just come from the orthodontist who removed her braces so the dental work could be done. She was scheduled to have her braces reinstalled after her dental appointment, which had to be rescheduled for another day in a different office.
