Everyone at AAdvanced dental was very kind and helpful when my daughter and I went in for our appointments. We both had to come back to get cavities filled because we hadn't been to the dentist in years. Dr. Shimanovsky was able to give me mine without numbing the tooth, and there was no pain. I appreciated that she was extra sensitive to my anxiety about getting the fillings, and she talked me through the whole process. My daughter (10) needed a shot, but they kept her in good spirits the whole time. I've already recommended this dentist office to friends.

I just went to see Dr Shimanovsky for regular cleaning and to fix a small cavity. She did an excellent job, the cavity was on one of my upper front teeth, and she was able to match the color perfectly so you cannot see the filling, everything looks natural. It was pretty painless. The receptionist took care of all the insurance paperwork and my portion was pretty small. Overall a great experience, I will definitely be back if I need any more dental work.

Visited Dr. Shimanovsky's office for the first time today. It was actually my first time back to a dentist in some time after a series of poor experiences with my previous dentist. The hygienist, Galena (sp?), was great. She explained in detail what she was going to do before she did it, took great care in cleaning my teeth, and was very personable. Dr. Shimanovsky seemed very knowledgeable. She immediately pointed out the mistakes my previous dentist had made (reason I had come in) as well as suggested addressing some obvious problems or potential problems my previous dentist overlooked. Given my previous dentist was at fault for the work he had done, Kim helped me understand what options I had and took the initiative to contact my previous dentist's office with the issues they uncovered. After years of mistreatment, it felt good to be in the hands of professional who care about their patients and prove themselves to be capable of doing so.

My first visit was very thorough and very friendly. I enjoyed the hygienist very much though I sadly do not remember her name. Came in for fillings a week later and the Dr. was gentle as well as encouraging. I only felt the initial pinch of the needle further easing my anxious mind.

Dr. Inna offers Amalgam removal in a safe way that protects your health and her staff. She was very gentle and precise, unlike other dentists that clunked and banged around like miners or loggers on my teeth. She offers a detox regiment we all need to rid our bodies of heavy metals. To all, I had a cracked molar with a filling in it. I showed up for the appointment. I went into my chair at the appointment time, she removed the old filling. A temporary filling was put in, no problems with anything. Very very satisfied. Take care Kevin Gruenefeldt

I went for a cleaning and a filling at AAdvanced Dental a week ago, and was highly impressed by Dr Shimanovsky. She did good work and was both friendly and enjoyable so far as going to the dentist goes -- few people enjoy being in a dentist chair. The support staff was also welcoming and went out of their way to help with paperwork and scheduling. I highly recommend AAdvanced Dental.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This Dentist and her assistant dentist made me feel bad for not having perfect teeth. Not only did they treat me terribly and guilt me for having a cavity, she also broke patient confidentiality by telling her daughter who is my age that I have bad teeth, etc. This place smells like a straight up veterinarian office- it smells like a wet dog. The receptionist has TERRIBLE customer service. Clearly never a busy office (not sure how their in business). NEVER come here if you don’t have perfect or else you will have the WORST experience. 0/10.

Dr. Inna is a very skilled dentist. Quick and efficient, but excellent and painless results. She is also committed to practices that minimize patient exposure to mercury, and was one of the first around to do so. Everyone else from my hygenist to the office staff are all very good, as well.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Shimanovsky and her wonderful staff! I have a few dental office's that are literally two minutes away from me, but I choose to drive 45min both ways - SO worth the trip. My 12 year old daughter feels the same way: We LOVE them ALL!!

Dr. Shim performed substandard dentistry and then charged to fix her own mistakes. Please see the picture of the poorly designed filling that she made. It failed in six months. That is only one example of the poor dentistry that she performed while I was under her care. She fooled me into thinking she was a good dentist with her aadvanced social skills. She is not. But she is good at shifting the blame away from herself. Several other dentists that have seen her substandard work attest to the fact that she made serious mistakes when she designed and installed several onlays and fillings in my mouth.

About 4 years ago i came in for my first cleaning and consultation. Each Staff member is very warm and friendly and the dental office is always clean and tidy. Dr. Shimanovsky, her dental assistant and hygienist are always very caring and make me, and most likely every other patient feel like they matter. Kim at the front desk was very knowledgeable regarding my insurance. I would definitely recommend Aadvanced Dental for anyone who is looking for a kind, helpful dental experience.

I came in for a routine exam and was surprised how detailed it was. I have never had photos of my teeth taken with a camera and it was interesting to see my teeth on the big screen. Dr.Shimanovsky took time to go over everything I needed to have done. Staff was also very nice.

After over a decade with the another dentist, I realized that he just wasn't keeping up with technology, a somewhat lackadaisical attitude and I felt it in my oral health care. I went on to search for another dentist and found Dr. Shimanovsky. And boy am I glad!! First off, calling and making appts for my family was a breeze (we are a tribe... there are many of us) and scheduling can sometimes pose a challenge..but not for this office. When we arrived and checked in, front staff was welcoming, helpful and professional when gathering our info. Our appts were both staggered and simultaneous (there are 5 of us!) and that saved TIME which I totally appreciate as a busy mom. The dental techs (or hygienists) not sure what they are actually (my bad)...however they were lovely. Had conversation and were telling us step by step what they were about to "do" and that type of thing. They were awesome with the kids and I have a teenager, an elementary age child and a preschooler and the staff was able to connect and explain with each one on their level. Then Dr. Shimanovsky came around to each of us, took her time to be thorough which I personally appreciate!! This dentist knows her stuff and she's super friendly and communicated well. The last item is that this office uses the latest technology. Why this is important is because my old dentist wasn't and a couple of my kids had cavities and the other dentist always said "all good". And these were not cavities that just sprung up in the last 6 mo's (we go to the dentist every 6 mo's per our insurance coverage). Anyway, there were procedures we could've done that our insurance covered and the other dentist was just too lazy to do apparently... Dr. Shimanovsky is not lazy and she is on the ball! Thank goodness we found a competent dentist on our first try searching for a new dentist! I'm just overall satisfied as are my children with Aadvanced Dental. Try them, you won't be sorry.

I came in very worried that I'd have a TON of work that needed to be done...AND yes, there is alot of work to be done...but Mr. Shimanovsky helped me created a plan that is simple and logical. I have MCS and drive for 3 hours to see Dr. Shimanovsky - and it's worth it. There is a Huggins dentist a half-block from my home in Newport, but I can't breathe in his office. Here, I can breathe. I trust this office and love the work they've done on my teeth.

If you're on Google looking for the best dentist in the Portland area... congratulations, your search is complete. Dr. Shimanovsky is, hands down, the best dentists I've ever had. She really takes the time to explain to you what's going on, and it feels like she keeps up to date on the most current knowledge in the field of dentistry. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and take the time to explain things in thorough detail. Galina made getting my teeth cleaned actually enjoyable. Kim at the front desk might just be one the most helpful people I've ever met. Their office is welcoming, clean, and well organized. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Shimanovsky and I'm SO glad they did! She took the time to connect with me like a real person and left me feeling more well informed than I'd ever been about my oral health. All of the advice she gave me kept in mind my budget and my insurance plan coverage. I have severe dental anxiety, so I dont go in till my teeth are falling apart. I was also worried about my amalgam fillings and the risks with removal, so I wanted a holistic dentist. I called Aadvanced Dental and they got me in the next day. I found the staff to be kind, informative and knowledgable. I appreciated that they took the time to listen to my concerns and address them. Dr Inna was awesome. She is very thorough which I appreciate in a dentist. Her and her assistant work so well together It's like they knew what each other was thinking. I am very happy with the work I had done and I need more, so will be back. If you are looking for quality work from an office that really cares, go to Aadvanced Dental. I drove 90 minutes each way with the traffic delays and felt like it's worth it. The office is not far from I 205 and there is a nice parking lot.

All alloy fillings were replaced prior to partials. The Dr, was thorough with all work. Her work was essential to recovering my health. Apart from her skill, small hands made for comfort during the process. I look great! Highly recommended....
