Probably one of the worst experiences at a dentist's office I have ever had. I got referred to a particular dentist whose name was Alan Miyake which is who I THOUGHT I made an appointment with but then got this young guy instead. Order of events: they have the dental assistant explain all the precautions and post-operative procedures I need to do in a matter of 3 minutes and have me sign that she "explained" all of it to me, it was like she had something better to do. Next they have a video film from the 90's explaining wisdom teeth extraction which I thought would be nice if the DENTIST that was performing the surgery would explain to me. Finally, the guy I've never met before strolls in and is ready to pull the teeth out of me. This wisdom teeth surgery was my very first surgery so I expected to be reactive to things like anesthesia, pain, etc, and a lot of people I've talked to said it isn't bad with a recovery time of 2-3 days max. It's been a week and my cheeks are so swollen, I can't even see the back of my mouth and I still can only eat liquid food. Sorry but this dental office is the prime example of what medical practice is turning into, young people who don't see patients with care anymore but a problem that needs to be fixed for cost like an electrician, or a plumber. Sad indeed
