I would never recommend any one to go here they rushed on my teeth and my cap came out and i went there to get a tooth cap and he worked on the wrong side saying i had a cavity on the inside but what ever worst dental ever

Dr. Mancuso and the whole team at the Lutheran Hospital location are great--best dentist office I've been to since I was a little kid. Everyone is always on time--I only wait if I'm early. I've never had anyone try to push me to buy extra services, the only calls I get are for appointment reminders, and every one is very attentive and helpful. The quality of service is high--both professional and transparent. Beyond the regular brushing and flossing, I really don't have to think about my teeth and gum health with this crew... they have me covered. I'm quite happy with everything.

Dr Mancuso graciously worked me into his already full schedule to address a very painful tooth. Before "Selling" me on a fix, he advised me to seek a more accurate 3D image from another dental office which was very helpful in realizing the crack was too deep to make a root canal an effective choice. Thankfully, he also then squeezed me into his afternoon schedule, saving me a trip home (I drive into Lutheran Hospital from Oberlin) & another whole day of constant pain, to extract the offending tooth. I will return for his assistance in the next step too, most likely in purchasing a crown for the implant procedure which I will opt for next. I felt the entire staff was compassionate in working with me to make the same day referral & explaining my options of care - even helping me with directions to the specialist office. I have been using this office for over 25 yrs & have not had a disappointment yet!

Ms. Tanera Hutz, R.D.H., Was excellent in the care she performed on my 16yrs old son. He has not been to the dentist since he was 10. That dentist who worked with him 6 years ago was very patient and caring. We have not found a person who filled her shoes until we met Ms. Tanera, I know she not a dentist,but through my son Emanuel, bad experiences from other dental clinics. Ms. Tanera, put him at ease which makes it easier for him to see the dentist. I know some people might feel; yeah, it's that person job so why thank them . But I feel to give credit when it due. After my most recent visit, I think I'll be finding another dentist. Coming in for cleanings is great. They work quickly and efficiently. However, after making an appointment last week to be seen for tooth pain, I can say that the Dentists are either overbooked or under-concerned. I was taken into an exam room and seen by Dr Hardy. He was in and out of the room in under 2 minutes. He took a quick look at the tooth in question, said "yeah, that's got to come out. Let's refer to Dr so-and-so." and walked out without giving me an opportunity to ask any questions. The rest of the office staff is great, but I was definitely not pleased with this Dentist.

I am a bad dental patient. I can't even converse about dentistry without anxiety. When a back molar broke and had my jaw throbbing it was time to see a dentist, like it or not. My choosing Hudec at Lutheran was due to proximity to my house, but after my experience today it will be my go to dentist of choice. Dr. Mancuso was patient and as gentle as a guy can be when pulling a tough molar out of someone's jaw. He explained everything as he worked and I felt in very competent hands. The staff was great too, even the lady who did my x-ray, she understood that to bite down would hurt and worked patiently to achieve the task. Best of all, I was able to get a same day new patient appointment. My tooth was so painful I'm glad I didn't have to wait! EDIT: Three days later I had to go back - dry socket and infection. Note that on the day of extraction I was not given antibiotics or mouthwash Rx. I feel that if I'd been given the antibiotics at least, it may have saved me from the trauma of having to endure a sitting while the infection was cleaned out.

From December 2017 through the first couple of weeks of January 2018, I have received very positive services from Hudec Dental. Most of the staff have been very pleasant and courteous, from Dr. Jas, Joy, Molley, Hannah, and others, these are the names that I can recall at this time. The only negative thing that I can comment on is, is that one of the fill in staff that does fillings, was not very personable nor was the quality of their work up to par. I was hoping at my last visit that I did not end up in the hands of this person, thankfully I was not and that's when I learned that a permanent person was hired to fill this position, (no pun intended). I am looking forward to a follow up appointment in mid March. MH

I have extremely sensitive teeth and am never able to go through a cleaning without novocaine. In all my years I had only found one Oral Hygenist that knew how to clean my teeth without needing novocaine and she was an employee at Hudec Dental. Just imagine my pain when I heard she left to work in another Hudec Dental office that was too far for me to travel. Today my teeth were cleaned by Tanera Hutz, another Hudec Dental Oral Hygenist. After I explained how sensitive my teeth are and told her I would need novocaine to get through the cleaning she asked me to trust her. I am so glad to report I have found another fantastic Oral Hygenist. She used a topical and another non invasive numbing agent and was so gentle that I was able to get through the cleaning with absolutely no pain and without any needles. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

After coming to this place for years I'm finally over it. The hygienists are great, but the dentist....A few months ago I went in for a check up and was told I had to small cavities, for which I made an appointment for. Came in for the appointment only for the dentist to tell me, "oh, no you don't have any cavities." Seriously. They are drill happy, they push for unnecessary procedures, and the dentist seems less than competent. All he does is write referrals and fill cavities. Every single time I've come to them for anything other than a cleaning or a filling, he does nothing. He looks at my tooth for ten seconds then writes a referral. He's a professional referral writer, not a dentist. I will not be returning.

Unfortunately, I have been calling for a few days to make an appointment. No one answered and I always left a message. It took them days to call me back. Not good. Before this, the service was really great. I finally had to schedule at another Hudec office because the Lutheran office just wouldn't return my call in a timely manner. What a shame. I've been going to that office for years. When I finally got in touch with the office and asked why no one was answering the phones, the representative stated they were short handed. I told them that I scheduled at another Hudec and all I got was "ok." Not sorry for the inconvenience or I apologize for how long it took to call you back. Nothing. Hudec (Lutheran site)......you didn't make me smile today.

I like this dentist I don't have a problem with none of the staff that work that works here. But how ever I did have a problem with one of the hygienist here she was very rude to me on March th 10 when I had my cleaning done. When she was cleaning my teeth I asked her one simple question was my gums bleeding and she go have the nerve to say all rude to me I told u that u have a lot of inflammation then she go say to me I told u that already. And first all I was just asking u a question. There was no need for her to be rude about it. But if she ever rude to me again I'm reporting her. Because I'm a patient I have the right to ask questions about my teeth. It doesn't matter what u told me. I didn't ask u why was my mouth bleeding I already knew what u said. I just wanted to know was it bleeding. Other then that this dentist is a good dentist.

This place shouldnt even get a star it was very unprofessional the person that made my appt had a vert poor attitude and a very smart mouth some one thats in pain doesnt need to deal with that type of manner i wouldnt recomend this place to any one because not only is the reception staff disrespectful the dentist is even worse he doesnt take time out to listen to ur problem and u could be in the middle of talking and he walks out like u were not even speaking so in other words if ur looking for a dentist this aint the place.. .

Just had to comment on my visit to the office,I was seen about 4 days ago but prior to that visit I was originally seen at the office on W.124 Lorain, about a week earlier, if you read my comments after that visit you would understand my reservation about going to any of there clinic but I needed to get some work done and they know my teeth,I went to the office inside Lutheran and from the moment I checked in I could feel the kindness and sincerely from the two ladies at the front desk as we discussed growing herbs and planting gardens,they changed my whole perception of how Receptionist are just there to make appointment,they truly love ppl and care about there's feelings... Thank You very much for caring.Dr Thapalia and the assistant working with her made me very comfortable,by the way they talked to me and treated me,I wanted to cry happy tears,I had absolutely no pain and needed 5 fillings and a crown I was truly at peace,I had finally found a dentist

The staff were super nice and I was never kept waiting, but the work was bad. Had a cleaning and my gums hurt for days. I've *never* experienced that before. I had some work done and they glued two of my teeth together. They tried to get the substance out from between my teeth, but it ended up hardening into a sharp edge that raked against my tongue for months. For some reason I gave them another chance six months later. I had a filing done and they drilled a *huge* hole. I have trouble believing that a pain free cavity that developed in less than a year could have been *that bad.* They completely filled in the flat of one molar and now it's super sensitive. I will not be going back.

I never even saw a hygienist. I arrived at 3:00, the time of my appointment and was told that since I didn’t arrive early they might not be able to see me due to the fact that I didn’t arrive early. Not one of the text messages or phone call their office berated me with mentioned anything about needing to arrive early. Fill out my paperwork and wait 20 minutes and no update! Finally another patient gets taken back and I ask how long it going to be. They were unsure since the patient scheduled at 330 was there. I could understand if I came late but I literally was there on time and had all the paperwork they required filled out in 5 minutes. I don’t recommend coming here unless you want to waste your time on unprofessional staff!

Tamra and Jennifer and the rest of the gang are all 5 stars. But you Dr. Mancuso you need a attitude adjustment. My teeth are clean but still hurt. I swear he reminds me of the dentist in Selma Alabama that use to mistreat me as a kid. He couldn't get back in my mouth again he doesn't speak when you speak to him and his attitude is cramp. I truly don't see how those people work with him. For real I go back for cleaning but no dental work period.I don't care how long he's been there. That maybe the problem it may be time for retirement or maybe a attitude adjustment quick. You people kill me with you ask for the truth and give a platform to tell the truth and then you wanna make excuses for bad behavior if I work for some thing or someone in the same field for 30 plus years then I should know how to conduct myself in a proper manner and Dr. Mancuso doesn't he has a very nasty attitude towards people and I'm not dealing with him in my mouth anymore period.

I began seeing Dr. Mancuso over 30 years ago in his private practice on the East side. When he moved to the west side, I tried a few other dentist because "I" was too lazy to travel to the west. I quickly came back and have been a loyal customer for 30+ years. I have referred many of my friends and they have also been very satisfied. I love his team especially his hygienist. I have also had healthy teeth!

I originally went in for a tooth ache and Dr. V completely dropped the ball! I have never had so many seperate appointments just to get fill-ins done. Mind you, after several appointments, My tooth ache problem was never taken care of! Instead of doing a root canal like he said he should do, he drilled a hole and filled it and said it would work. Problem was he put the filling on my nerve which caused way more pain then I originally had. I ended up going somewhere else to get an extraction. I just feel like I took to many trips for work only for me to be worst off now than before I went. I will say that the Assistants were nice and the Hygienist Lady was good. Although its been months and Im still waiting to hear back about my deep cleaning that I have been waiting to get cleared for...........

I have been a patient of this branch for years. This is the last time. I was concerned that I might be late for my 9AM appt so I called and said I was on my way. I was at the desk at 9:02 and stood there for a minute or two before the receptionist got around to greeting me. She then told me that I had been bumped until 9:30 because I said I was going to be more than 10 minutes late (which was inaccurate). I then asked if I ran a quick errand but was back before 9:30, if I would have my slot held. I was told "probably". Just plain smug, rude treatment. The office was also torn up for construction which didn't give a good clinical feeling. The guy that cleaned my teeth did a good job but the overall experience started off so badly that I won't come back.

Arrived early for my appointment, waited 30 minutes until they brought me to an operation room. I was then told the dentist would not be available for another hour. Hudec Dental displayed a complete lack of professionalism. Others might have had a positive experience, mine was not.

I love this dentist office Dr.jazz is awesome and so is most of the dental assistants but today we had a dental assistant named Molly who was not at all professional. She had pushed my nieces head back down on the chair because she answered a question I had asked. I told her do not touch my niece like that again and she says back that she dint have all day. I was very upset by it and will never let her touch me or my niece again she should not be working with kids if that's how she is gonna act.

My mother M Marrero had a scheduled appointment on 4/25/19 @ 2pm, and her feedback is very disappointing. The receptionist who has a short blonde butch/blunt hair cut, thin Caucasian lady behaviour was unacceptable and she even recruited a minion to mistreat my mother. The minion who has medium length hair was rude, insensitive and just disrespectful. Manhandled my mothers cleaning, yelled at her for moving while being manhandled. The more I type, the more I realized that those two individuals do not belong in health care. I don't have their names due to no name tags being displayed. What should have been a routine cleaning turned out to be a disaster. I really want Hudec Lutheran corporate office to reach out to us in a timely fashion. For this is your opportunity to make this right. My defenseless mother was there being bullied and manhandled by your office and honestly because she was targeted by staff.
