Went two times and had the worst experience imaginable! I chalked the first one up to them just having a bad day (everyone has them and maybe we just got a poor dental assistant)..... Nope! Wait time, painful, rude staff and don't forget the bill. $350 for a cleaning and an x-ray. And don't even think about questioning their price or ask for a detailed bill. Apparently they don't have the time to take 5 minutes to justify robbing you! No response, then one reminder bill and off to collections..... Overpriced, rude and sub-par service (buyer beware).

Dr. Mitakides really is the "go to guy" for anyone with severe TMJ and related neck problems. After 30 years of living with TMJ and neck pain, his oral appliance has provided some real relief. I have seen two other highly-regarded TMJ specialists in the past, worked on my jaw with a famous peridontist, and tried at least four other oral splints and nightguards over the years. None of it has provided the relief I have gotten from Dr. Mitakides appliance. I believe he understands the complicated relationships among cervical spine, jaw and skull better than any other dental practitioner I have encountered.
