I really love these guys and the way they make me feel relaxed, safe and cared for during my visit. That said, the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of five is due to some work they did that was not up to their usual standards. The first example is a filling I had put in my bottom right canine right along the gum. It came out 3 times! While they did only charge me for two fillings, I still had to get Novocaine, go for another visit, etc. Having just had a crown put in today, I am grading them about two stars on this visit. The crown they put in is huge! It needs to be filed down a LOT! I couldn't tell how big it is until the Novocaine wore off this evening. Plus, there is a gouge in the tooth directly below the crown!! Not happy at all right now. Still, overall, they rock although I miss Dr. Evie...still.

I cracked a big chunk of tooth off and needed immediate attention. I’m a new patient but they took me right away anyway! This was totally my fault for putting it off, but Dr. David did what was necessary to get me going again. He slowly proceeded as he assessed how bad my tooth really was by performing several tests. I was prepared for the worst news, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear I did not need a root canal. Most other dentists would have taken complete advantage of my borderline neurotic anxiety. He fixed my tooth at my pace and gave me as much numbing medicine as I needed. He was not rushed and offered many times to allow me a breather. I felt NO pain as he prepared my tooth for a crown. They actually made the crown in the office and I was able to walk out with a pretty matching permanent one that day. (My previous two crowns are hideous looking blobs) I actually cannot tell this new tooth is really a crown!

I cannot say enough about this office! Like most people, for me going to the dentist isn’t fun to think about. From the time I called to make an appointment (as a new patient), the person that answered the phone and took down information made me feel comfortable. It continued when I arrived in the office and everyone... literally EVERYone went out of their way to make me - the patient - at ease and comfortable. They asked questions and listened to me... doing everything they could to put me at ease, and to make sure that they approached the process in a way that made me comfortable. I went because I wanted to know that all options of sedation dentistry were available, and because I specifically wanted a female dentist. This fit the bill. As it turned out, what was intended to take two separate appointments was completed in one appointment... with no need for sedation of any kind (although I was comforted to know that it was possible if needed). I say KUDOS to the entire team at Stanley Dentistry - and I truly mean that - the entire team has a consistent and caring approach. My sincere thanks to all of them!

Very disappointed as I left with a hole in my pocket. Don’t trust their estimates for treatments, they give you a low estimate just so you will be lured to have the treatment done. Then once you find out that you need to pay significantly more than your initial estimate you will regret you even went to this place. I ended up paying almost 4 times the estimated cost. One thing for sure I didn’t smile afterwards. Save yourself money and time and find a better place. I should have known better and check the reviews first. To the office please do your homework first before you put a patient on the chair.

I highly recommend Stanley Dentistry. I had a professional teeth whitening done two weeks ago. Dr. Bobbi Stanley and the ladies at the front desk were professional and friendly. I had never had whitening done before, and everyone went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable before and during the process. We ran in to the dentist in the hallway and Bobbi took the time to shake my hand and have a quick conversation with me. I was shocked to find that another dentist in the area had told me my 5 year old needed 6 fillings for cavities when Dr Bobbi found she only needed one tiny one that didn't even require getting numbed. The Stanleys have been my dentists for at least 15 years now. In that time, I have had a few cavities filled, a tooth reconstruction, a root canal, and several extractions. I think that saying they do good work would be an understatement. I was their patient for several years with a brief gap when they stopped seeing kids, then 15 years after. During that gap, when I was 9 years old, I broke one of my front teeth in half which exposed the root. This happened on a Thursday evening before a holiday weekend, so my dentist at the time was closed on Friday (as were the Stanleys). My dentist told us the soonest they could see me was on Monday morning. Given that it was very painful to eat and drink, we called the Stanleys emergency line and they had us meet them 30 minutes later around 9 PM at their office. Both Dr Rob and Dr Bobbi worked until about 11:30 PM that night to repair the tooth. They did such a good job that the repaired tooth was indistinguishable from the rest. I even had trouble figuring out which one was the broken one the next day. Their work prevented me from needing to have it extracted and leaving a gap until my jaw grew enough to have an implant put in. When my dentist said they wouldn't see me until next week, Dr Rob and Dr Bobbi dropped everything to help. I think it would be tough to find that kind of care elsewhere. I can't remember any treatments being particularly painful. Dr Rob is attentive and makes sure you aren't feeling any discomfort while he works. My hygienist Jennifer is also very skilled and thorough. She takes pride in her work and does an excellent job, while still being gentle and making sure appointments aren't unpleasant. Their office staff is also competent and I haven't had any problems with scheduling, schedule reminders, billing, etc. All in all, Stanley dentistry is a fantastic practice and I highly recommend them.

From the moment I walked in the staff were warm and welcoming. My husband and I were given a tour of the practice and everything concerning each aspect of their services was completely covered. Once I was called back I was given a small gift bag and met with more welcoming staff. Once the Doctor arrived she was was attentive and very candid. I have a complicated and advanced form of TMJD. I was looking for a second opinion and possible alternative treatment options. Dr. Bobbi reviewed my history and had read my MRI results prior to speaking with me. After discussing my history she was very upfront there was little she could do for me. My original evaluation and recommendation for jaw joint surgery was on point in her opinion. In fact she stated I was only the 3rd person in 25 years she had to say that to. She stated she did not want to waste my time or money on treatments that in the end would not work. She actually apologized for not being able to help me!! She recommended a surgeon and refused to charge me for the visit!! I offered to return the new patient gift of a nice coffee tumbler and dental magazine. She refused. I thanked her for her honesty and insight several times! Very rarely do you come across such a warm and welcoming staff plus a doctor who is honestly in the business of doing what is best for the person walking through their door even if that means not gaining a new patient or the opportunity to make money. Thank you Stanley Dentistry for today! I would and will recommend you guys to anyone!!

Long story short: There aren’t enough stars to rate this team. If you’re looking for the best dental care in the Cary area - you have found it. There are a host of reasons why Stanley Dentistry always has the highest ratings and wins award after award. They go above and beyond to give you the best care in even the worst case scenarios, and they will make sure you are happy with the results. If you’re curious about details (and would like to get to know the Stanley staff better), read on... My situation was about as difficult as you can imagine. I needed to replace everything and fear of getting this procedure done had kept me away until it almost cost me my life. Stanley gave me a free evaluation and X-rays (not free). After the X-rays, they didn’t pressure me into anything. I was given a list of options, and got a detailed walk through so we could decide how best to approach the issue. I decided to go with an All-on-4 implant. There are so many positive things I could say about this staff, but I’ll have to summarize because reviews have a character limit: Cherie, Patient Care Coordinator - My first hurdle was financing. My credit score was not great. I wasn’t sure I could afford this. Cherie came to my rescue. Dr. Rob, Dentist - An engineer who handled my surgery brilliantly. I couldn’t be happier with the stability, durability, and the selection of material for my implants (Zirconia). Rob is also just a really nice guy who is enjoyable to talk to and shows a genuine interest in his patient’s lives. Dr. Bobbi, Dentist - largely focused on aesthetics and functionality. She took care to perfect the look and bite of my teeth. Bobbi cares deeply about her patients and was always doing her best to ensure I was happy and pain free. Also gave me advice on various medical topics and dental implements. Melissa, Patient Care Coordinator - Likely the first face you’ll see as you walk into the Stanley office, always greets you with a warm smile and makes sure you’re taken care of promptly. Zeb, Anesthesiologist - Very nice guy, calmed my anxieties. On the day of the surgery; I sat down, started chatting with Zeb, barely felt a pinch and woke up with new teeth. Sarah, Certified Dental Assistant - I came in frequently for adjustments, care, cleaning, etc. This was all handled by Sarah, who has a knack for making you feel comfortable around her, and happens to be a total sweetheart. Once you start talking to her, you’ll completely forget that you’re in a dental office. Going through this process was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, but I have to give credit to Sarah for really helping me get through it and keeping my spirits high. Patty, Certified Dental Assistant - Patty is witty and friendly and although I didn’t hang out with her as much as many of the other people, I thoroughly enjoyed her company and she took great care of me. Dr. David, Dentist - not my dentist, but dropped by often to visit, offer advice, and chat. He’s an awesome guy who was also my girlfriend’s surgeon, and did an outstanding job for her. Margaret, Creative Director - I loathe pictures and I don’t really smile ever. But in her attempts to get photos for the lab work, Margaret did a pretty top notch job of making me laugh, prying a few smiles out of me, and doing her part to contribute to Stanley’s warm atmosphere. Katrina, Registered Dental Hygienist - Katrina did my cleaning, and also took extremely good care of my GF (severely phobic). Wonderful person, and always has a genuinely friendly smile on her face. When Katrina did my GF’s cleaning, I was amazed at how skilled and patient she was - perfect work and made sure my GF was comfortable the whole time. I cannot speak highly enough about Stanley and all of the amazing people that work there. Not only will you get the best dental care imaginable, but they’ll make you feel like you’re part of the family.

I agree with many of the reviewers that this practice is overpriced and superficial. It is glamorous looking but I did not receive quality care. They are out to make a buck. At one cleaning/exam I also was getting a cavity filled. I thought it was just a soft spot and did not need to be filled but was pressured into it. I regret it. At that visit my exam was even skipped. They are not personable but are rushed. I am too upset to finish this review but I do not recommend Stanley Dentistry to anyone.

Stanley Dentistry has provided compassionate care and gone above and beyond to help fix my teeth and jaw after a terrible accident years ago. I came to them with both anxiety about the procedures I needed to have done to fix the oral trauma and also for the uncertainty of what even needed to be done. Dr. Bobbi & Dr. Rob offer everything and it was comforting to know that they were able to perform the implant surgery/bone grafts AND also provide the crowns afterwards-ALL in the same office which is unbelievable! Normally, I would have had to coordinate with several different offices which is so stressful on top of dealing with the actual dental work itself. Their team is so kind and I feel very lucky to have found Stanley and recommend them to everyone who is looking for general dentistry or has more complicated needs (like myself) since their office is a one-stop place. Plus, they also provide IV sedation for procedures which was a life-saver for someone like me who has PTSD after my accident- their CRNAs are amazing and provide top quality care. I can't recommend Stanley enough and I truly don't feel like just "another patient" there; I feel like family and that trust is worth every penny!

I have been going to Stanley Dentistry every since I moved to the triangle four years ago and love it. I'm incredibly loyal to my Healthcare providers and always stick with people I like. Therefore, it was tough at first when both the dentist I used and the dental assistant left the company. However, their replacements did a great job and soon I was comfortable with them. I was surprised to lean a few years later the assistant returned to the company as a dental hygienist. Seeing a company promote career growth and remain loyal to it's employees is a wonderful thing Also, I like how this office is a one stop shop. They offer several different types of dental procedures here so you're not stuck finding a specialist. Lastly, the staff is as friendly as can be. I've emailed the owners before with questions and they responded. The staff knows my dentist and hygienist preference so always schedules my appointments when they both are on shift without me asking. If you go here you're garunteed to get top notch care. When I came to this establishment about over 2 years ago, I was told that my deductible was so high that I would have to pay cash. Being on disability, there are few ins plans I can afford. i paid the cash for everything and was satisfied with their work. In Jan or Feb of this year I get an e-mail saying that I needed to pay an outstanding bill from a year ago. When I asked what do they mean i pay cash for everything, their response was that the Ins company had denied claims made by their office. When I asked had I met my deductible and what the bills were for, I got the runaround and was told I need to pay the bill or it would be sent to collections. The response from the ins company was that their plan administrator (that''s the person who handles the claims at the office) had made errors in their claims. I refused to pay the bill and they have sent it to a collections agency. I urge anyone who has had similar activity happen not just from this establishment but from any place to please contact your State attorney's office and file a complaint. If they will do this to someone on disability they will do it to anyone.

I want give zero star if I can. The dentists were nice, but the price is ridiculous! I went there for cleaning, the staff told me my insurance will cover for X-ray, so I agreed to do it. But I ended up to pay $450 for cleaning and X-ray, and my insurance only reimbursed for the half amount because they charge ridiculous prices. Nobody ever told me that they don’t contract with my insurance. I don’t want give 1 star to any place, but I just feel mad and upset about this visit. I will not come back to this place again and will not recommend it to anyone else.
