Dr. Jorgenson and her Dental Assistant Tiffany are absolutely wonderful! I had to have a tooth pulled and have PTSD so I had let my tooth go until I couldn't stand it. They explained all of the noises and talked me through everything that needed to be done. They were truly genuine and comforting and I would recommend them to anyone. All of the staff was the same way and they seem to work as a family of friends. What a fantastic experience at the dentist.

I would have never thought I would say I looked forward to going to the dentist but that’s exactly how I have felt the past 3 to 4 months. When I was younger my experience was not so great which carried over into my adult life. From the moment I walked in the office I have been treated like I was their best friend. Dr Lee is AMAZING! There are not enough words to express have grateful I am to have found him. Anita and Rebecca are the ones who worked with me, they always made sure I was comfortable and explained everything perfectly. They never judged me or made me feel self conscious and that has meant the world to me.Every one at the office are so sweet and helpful so they made it impossible to feel scared or ashamed of my inability to smile. A year ago I never thought I would be able to smile with confidence but they gave me my smile and the ability to hold my head up, look people in the eyes and smile. I will always be grateful to everyone for making my experience so easy and the outcome be more beautiful than I hoped for. P..S Dr Tawfik at the Garner office did my surgery and he was incredible! He explained what he was going to do and made sure I understood and I was comfortable..

I visited this Riccobene location (in Garner) because I had to have a root canal done. Being a young adult I was very nervous about this procedure not knowing what to expect. I am a Christian and went in believing that God was in control. I was blessed with an amazing doctor, Dr. Chen, and her assistant Sierra Smith. Mrs. Smith constantly made sure that I was comfortable and calm throughout the whole procedure. I know that God orchestrated for her to be there today and I couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you very much Dr. Chen and Mrs. Smith!

They are generally very prompt. I had an 8am cleaning appointment with no xrays required this time. As a result, I was out of there by 8:30 am because I got an all thumbs up on my dental hygiene! Dr Jorgenson gets props!!

My experience with Rachel was outstanding. She definitely knows her work. She took the time on each try out to make sure I was conformtable and that my experience was extremely an easy transition in wearing a guard. I would like to have her back as a dentist as she would be going to ECU for dental school. She is so patient, caring and professional. I urge Dr . Riccobene to keep her information and add her to his dentist staff, as Rachel is one of the good ones that me and my family would love to have back! as my dentist! Great Job, Rachel!!

The assistant was very nice and explained everything well. Very pleased with her. The dentist did a good job and I'm happy with the outcome. He (Dr. Griffin) just seemed to be having a bad day or something. He had a bit of a grumpy attitude. The staff always ask me when scheduling if I care for a particular dentist or not. I have never requested a specific dentist in the past but will probably request not to have him. I have been going for years to Riccobene and will continue. I have been pleased with everyone else there.

Mid February will be two years working with Brush and Floss. I love their entire team, the girls are always so nice and on top of it all. Dr. D is very polite and to the point, I recommend Brush an Floss to all those who inquire about my braces. They are also very affordable compared to other ortho offices.

Rianna was so gentle, as I have tooth sensitivity and gave me recommendations to help that issue; as she was my hygenist and will be requested from now forward. Dr Jorgenson always lets me know her every step of what she's doing next when under her care. It helps me, as I have anxiety at the dentist, due to childhood issues. She's the BEST! My family and I have been going to Ricconene for years and have never had any issues. It was always a positive experience with routine dental work. However, last year I had to have more extensive work done and I've run into serious problems. The clinical providers were still wonderful, but the billing department is a joke and horribly unprofessional. My insurance company was only paying a portion of my dental work, and so each visit I paid my quoted out of pocket expenses for that visit, at the time of service, upwards to over a thousand dollars. However, six months later, when I tried to schedule an appointment for my daughter to have a tooth pulled, I was informed out of the blue that I had a 600 dollar balance that had to be paid IN FULL before I could schedule her appointment. No one was able to give me a solid answer on what this balance was from. They said they had sent me bills in the mail but that they were returned (which is curious because they sited my correct address, where I receive ALL of my other mail and bills without any problems). Seeing as this was coming completely out of left field, I asked if I could have some time to figure out with my insurance company what this new charge was for (since they were unable to answer that). Their best response was that they could set up a payment plan with me and then schedule my daughter once the amount was paid in full (even though my daughter has no dental insurance and I was paying out of pocket for her procedure). They were willing to delay my daughter's care over a balance that they can't even explain to me. When I told them I would take my business elsewhere, but would start paying off my balance after speaking to my insurance company, they forwarded my account IMMEDIATELY to a collections agency that has now been harassing me and exceptionally rude every time I tell them I'm still in review with the insurance company. I have worked my entire career in healthcare and have never experienced anything like this. Real shame because I adore the providers.

The dental hygienist was so good about making me comfortable and constantly checking to meet my needs. Dr Chen is very knowledgeable and friendly. She is also quick and efficient. Absolutely horrible to work with and I did not even get in the front door. They insisted that my insurance did not start until 07/01/2019 despite the info on my card and the details my HR Department provided. The talked to "Vickie" twice and were told I did not have active coverage. When I called my insurance company they had no inquires from them on coverage verification. Guess they did not need any new patients.

I had a pediatric emergency (or at least I thought I did). Received a call back ASAP on a Friday night and was treated like gold. Walked into the garner office at 8:00 am for an ER take-a-look. Office staff, assistant/hygienist (didn’t catch her title) and dentist were all wonderful. Friendly, competent, understanding, and just all around great. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I was referred to Riccobene Associates in Garner because they accepted my dental insurance for a certain procedure I needed. I was very pleased my first visit. Their place was very clean and spacious. I would return in the future if need be. All the staff are very pleasant and I was comfortable with my dentist.

Dr. Killian is the best dentist I've ever been to. She cared about me and my dental needs. I brought in a list of concerns and she addressed them all and with patience at that. Most doctors don't even take my lists seriously. I also like that Dr. Killian says everything she's doing and about to do so I know what to expect. This puts me at ease in her care. She manages to walk the fine line of being down to earth yet professional. Everyone seemed very nice and professional including the dental assistants and the hygienists.

I have never had such good, professional care as I have at Riccobene Family Dentistry. Kelly and Dr. Jorgenson are the most incredible team! Recently I had 3 crown restorations, and each one has been perfect! They listen and accommodate my requests, narrate through the process, and use precisely the right touch with every move. Ex: Kelly gave me warm water at my request, and antiseptic rinse during the permanent crown install. All personnel there appear to be contributors to an over all wonderful dentistry practice. I never thought I'd say I enjoy going to the dentist! UPDATE - today 20190227.Tue - and I was just seen by Carly who is the most excellent Hygienist as well! Her attention to detail, friendliness, and care for my comfort and to need to have my questions answered, all worked together in the best way to make my visit comfortable and delightful! Dr. Euler as well provided excellent oversight and careful inspection of Carly's work, all for a visit that makes me so thankful to have Riccobene as my dentist of choice!

Highly recommend Riccobene & Associates! Always friendly, caring, & competent — love them! Our 7 family members have been patients since ~2004, & have received treatment from Dr Riccobene & other dentists, hygienists, both oral surgeons, & endodontist. Their orthodontic office reapplied adhesive to her permanent retainer that had come loose, but was too minor of treatment to travel to her orthodontist uncle in OH. When our out-of-state daughters have needed regular checkups (not scheduled in advance bc they don’t know when they will be home), we’ve always been able to find a cancellation available in one of the offices, so we’ve seen staff at multiple locations.

Went to Riccobebe in Garner today for the 1st time & boy was I surprised. The staff is absolutely wonderful & the Endodontist, Dr Chin was fantastic. I had a tooth that needed a root canal & was giving me some pain. I saw the dentist, Dr Uhlir, who was also great, this morning & was able to get the root canal done this afternoon after someone canceled their appt. Root Canals are never pleasant, but I must say that Dr. Chen and Erica made my experience much less horrific than I anticipated it would be! They were very aware of my needs and comfort and kept me informed as to what was happening. The discomfort after the procedure has been less than I expected. Like I stated, root canals are not pleasant, but this one exceeded my expectations!

Dr. J and Kelly do a fantastic job! The replacement crown prep went very smoothly with little pain afterwards, including the following day, which was surprising. Dr. J is very skilled and always does the job right. Kelly is always highly informative, providing answers to any question asked, as is Dr. J, even down to technical details that no other dentist has been willing to discuss. Their caring attitudes and gentle methods actually have reduced my phobia about dental work. I have seen Dr. J & Kelly for about a year and a half, maybe two, now, and I will never see anyone else as long as they are practicing dentistry.

I have had nothing but excellent care from the whole staff from the front desk to all the young ladies in the back. I had to have dentures on the top an Dr. Franklin and his assistance did a wonderful job with the fitting etc. The oral surgeon also did a great job!! I had 8 teeth pulled an on the third day I was pain free. The lab couldn't have done a better job. My teeth are perfect. They are so natural looking and I have had the most compliment on them. So a big THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!!!!!

Had been going there for a few years and it wasn't too bad, but the customer service needs work. Went in for a Saturday appt and was told that due to dental providers not being open on the weekend, I would have to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed through the provider. Would have been nice to have been left a Voicemail about paying out of pocket. They did not apologize for the inconvenience or for not calling ahead to let me know. Since there customer service wasn't top notch anyway, will def be going elsewhere since they are not the only dental practice in town. Must be nice to become a big practice and show less and less consideration for their patients other than their money. They used to be better when they were smaller...

I am so grateful to the endodontist at the Garner location for saving my tooth. A dentist at the Clayton location said it needed to be pulled, but thank goodness I went to get a second opinion! All that was needed was to replace the filling. There was no crack in this tooth to cause it to need to be pulled. To think I would have lost this tooth if I had listened to the Clayton dentist! Four stars are for the wonderful job the Garner office did. I took off one star for the mis-diagnosis. However, I'd still go to Clayton to get my teeth cleaned. That part has been a good experience.

Today I had to get a wisdom tooth pulled. Wasn't my first rodeo, so needless to say I have had some pretty unpleasant visits with dentist in the pass. However, today was the first time in all my 40 years of life that I had the best experience EVER!! I can't speak for all the dentist there, but I can certainly vouch for Dr. Joyner! She was awesome! She was very kind and pleasant. She talked me through the entire process, making sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Her assistants were just as pleasant! They gave me a blanket and even rubbed my arm a little during the pulling. You maybe thinking, "that's what they are supposed to do, right"? Well, I can tell you that I have been to dentist that came in, didn't speak, and went right at jerking my head around like I was some kind of doll! Never asked once was I okay, needed anything, or anything near it!....and I'm talking about EVERY TIME I visited a dental office! From this day forth, this location and dentist will be my dentist! Thanks for a pleasant experience!! You guys were great! From the front desk, to the back!

This could have been 2 stars if everything else wasn't perfect. Problem was with Dr. Chen causing much pain in my lips. She didnt respond to indications that she was hurting me and let me tell her what the problem was. I hit my limit when she was putting so much pressure against my lower lip onto my teeth that it felt like it was cutting. Basically using my teeth as a fulcrum and my lip/gum as a cushion for her fingers or tool. Then she said "hold still." I reached up and grasped my lip and pulled it away. That freaked her out and she left the room for a few minutes. I explained the problem to her assistant better than I could to Dr Chen. When I went back a week later, darned if she wasn't doing the same thing when removing my stitches. I think there's a language problem. I know I have trouble understanding her. I won't be back to see her.

Their services are always great and thorough. It is a little pricey, especially is you don't have dental insurance, but if you do have insurance or can afford it, I would recommend them, hands down.

I had an appointment scheduled and received a text informing and confirming me of my appointment the day of.... But when I arrived to the office and checked in with the front desk... Then waited in the waiting area.. I was called in to the room... To find out that the doctor is not in today and I will need to reschedule my appointment for another date.. Why not call all of the patients and inform them they need to reschedule due to the doctor not available today for one reason or another. Thank you

The only reason I gave only 4 Stars is because I had to wait almost 45 minutes to be called back for a cleaning. They are usually very prompt but apparently running late on Wednesday afternoon

The all the staff at Riccobene was excellent! I had broken a tooth, not only did they tell me about my options and cost they also showed me exactly how healthy the root was and that it could be saved… I was already under the opinion that I would have to have it pulled…Dr Irina was the best person for me and my procedure. In addition, her dental assistant was amazing… You could tell they work closely day by day together, they were in sync and very respectful to each other. LOVE this practice! Dr. Jorgenson has made three crowns for me, and she is meticulous about fit - there is no "getting used to" her work; it feels like the original tooth. The hygienists and techs are competent and personable, and everyone from the front desk on back is friendly. Props to them, too, for donating toothbrushes for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes!

Absolutely great place! I went in for a checkup, haven't been to the dentist in 10 years. The staff were all absolutely fantastic. Friendly, updated my information (was still under my moms account) and got me back quickly. They listened when you spoke with them. They checked over my teeth and found 3 small cavities. They were quick to book me an appointment to fill the cavities. These were my first fillings ever and I was nervous. They explained everything they did and worked quickly. They did the fillings beautifully and I can hardly tell the difference. I cannot adequately put into words how wonderful and caring the staff is here. Great job Riccobene and associates! I will definitely be using this place from now on.

Exceptionally nice staff, easy to work with. They do get booked pretty far out but they definitely try to fit you in as soon as they can (which really just speaks to how popular they are). Saw Dr. Jorgenson and she was really nice. Unfortunately I'll be back soon for having some work done, but they are going out of their way to work with a very anxious person. You even find out how much your insurance will and wont cover up front, which I think is great, no more guesswork at the end what your bill is.

Took me in as new patient on a sat when i was in extreme pain .I needed to have tooth extraction done . They gave me light pain meds and an appointment for the next sat to have tooth removed. 2 days later the pain was unbearable. I called the office and was told I need the tooth out asap . They gave me appointment for the next day . I am a very nervous patient but Dr Behairy and The Nurse were very understanding and comforting as they could be . I am now out of pain . I was referred here by my dentist. I had a horrible experience. I had to get a root canal done. At my appointment it was brought to my attention that I didn't need one, and a regular filling procedure was done. A month later my teeth were still aching horribly, so I made another appointment and a root canal was suppose to be done. However the day of my appointment hurricane florence was said to hit my area and my family had to evacuate causing me to have to cancel my appointment hours before. The receptionist was very nice and rescheduled me. However, next week I recieved a letter in the mail saying I had been dismissed. I spoke with the same receptionist and was told that this paticular endodontist was very strict, and dismissed patients very easily. I was not aware of the 24 hour cancellation policy. And this was the FIRST appointment I had cancelled, due to serious and uncontrolled circumstances. I am very upset. My tooth is hurting so much I am unable to sleep. Now I must find another endodontist and go thru this entire process again. I suggest you all do not use the endodontist here. She is very unprofessional and inconsiderate! I am a dental student and I am disappointed with my treatment under this doctors care!

Well.... Ive been a long standing patient with Riccobene @ 40/42. My Doctor is Dr. Tawfik. Ive recommended many of our friends who now are also patients of Riccobenes. But yesterday they took my loyalty to a whole new level. As we were driving to Charlotte for a conference my front tooth fell out in my lap.... I can't speak enough about the entire staff. I called Reception (AMY) and explained the situation..... She was soooooooooo awesome.... They were entirely booked but she said to come right in and she would figure it out. I got there with a packed waiting room and within 15 minutes I was being seen by an amazing specialist Dr Dhima.... I explained I was heading out of town and she put me back together temporarily so I could make my conference .... which I did... Talk about PLEASED.. I had to go in for a consultation for a root canal. From the second I stepped in the door, I was met with the nicest people. Very professional and caring. I CAN SAY ENOUGH ABOUT SIERRA. She treated me so VERY well and is a true class act. What an asset to that practice. I was very pleased with the Dr and all the equipment they will be using. Root canal to be contd!...... Came back for the root canal!! Was I nervous?? Yes but I have had many dentistry procedures.. Tiffany was the assistant who helped Dr chin with the procedure. I was so impressed with her telling me exactly what was going to happen along the way. The worst part for me was taking the shot to numb me. All the other was pain free and not bad at all. Dr Chin did a great job. She makes you feel calm and she is good at what she does. I never experienced any pain or anything after procedure. I took Ibuprofen one time and that was all I needed. If you have to have a root canal, I would highly suggest Dr chin. She does a great job and the assistants are just wonderful!! Happy Customer!!

I just had a routine cleaning at Riccobene on Hwy 42 in Garner and I have an upcoming procedure that will tell me more. I selected Riccobene because they have very good reviews. I am very happy with the facilities, the hygienist (Javier), and the dentist herself. So far so good.

The dental hygienist was fantastic! The Dentist was great too. They were both friendly and sweet to my daughter who was with me. The only issue I really had was with the woman in charge of the insurance. She was very short with me and kinda rude. Tried to tell me I was going to have to pay out of pocket even though I had insurance. Tried to tell me that i am not on the insurance, it is through my husbands work, and I am on it. I don't remember her name, but she should work on her customer service. This was my first time there and it was not for a normal cleaning, for an emergency issue. I called on Friday to make the Saturday appt. Other than the woman in charge of the insurance everyone else was super friendly and nice even with them being super busy.

Update from my last review: I went to see Dr. Chen which is an endodontist in Garner, NC; NOT the Clayton office. They were able to consult and treat my 2nd root canal. Let me tell you that I was the biggest baby and my blood pressure/anxiety were out of control. Erica, the dental assistant reassured me that they would take care of me and get me out of pain. My original feedback post from the office in Clayton was and still will be horrible. That man/dentist should've seen how serious my pain and infection were, but he acted so nonchalant. Dr. Chen and her dental assistant Erica in Garner took very well care of me. I was such a baby and crying... not to mention it took some time for my blood pressure to come down. They also put me on a VERY strong antibiotic, 800mg prescription strength Ibuprofen, and Oxycodone. They knew that the Clayton office messed up BIG time! My pain was so severe that it hurt to swallow and the left side of my neck/gland was infected as well. I still have to go back for my crown, but I will never go back to the Clayton office. They obviously are not organized and just think patients are trying to get a hand out on pain meds. Let me tell you, if I were that type of person, I would have no problem getting pain meds. Point blank, my case was VERY serious, VERY infected, and VERY painful. I would rather go through labor and have 3 more c-sections than to go through that horrific experience again. So, while I DON'T recommend the Clayton office, I HIGHLY recommend the Garner office. The nitrous oxide calmed my nerves down a bit and also allowed my blood pressure to lower at a safe level in order for them to work on me. They were all so kind and understanding. Honestly, I think they read my review regarding the Clayton office and was super shocked! So, from now on, I will be going to see Dr. Chen and her team without a doubt.

The staff were nice. However, the doctor tends to cater to too many patients at once. At least that was my experience. I went there for a root canal and I have gotten one done before on that same tooth, but nothing felt as traumatizing as this experience. Button line is I had my mouth open for 1.5 hours straight and let me tell you, it felt awful. This is going to sound like I’m exaggerating, but I’m really not. -The sad part is that she would work five minutes on me and then go work on someone else. She would be gone for more than five minutes at a time. This happened throughout the whole procedure. So my time with my mouth opened could have been cut in half. I would clap in panicking mode and someone would come and say “is anything bothering you? She’ll be right back “. I couldn’t talk. I had my mouth wide open with the root canal stuff so it’s not like I could get up and walk away. And every time she’d be gone I knew she’d be gone for at least five minutes. Could you imagine my agony? I didn’t complain afterwards, although I should have. But let me tell you I cried my way home. I couldn’t believe that had just happened to me. And that’s why I’m writing this review. Avoid going there, but if you have to, make sure you impose you want to have that exclusive time. I think it’s fair- considering we’re not going there for free and I had an appointment. Because I have a choice, I won’t be going there again.

I have a fairly severe dental phobia due to some bad experiences at the dentist growing up, so it's always been hard to find a dentist I trust. I have had the BEST experience with Dr. Tawfik and the entire care team I've interacted with at Riccobene Garner. I did not feel judged or rushed for being anxious. Getting my teeth repaired under sedation went really well. Almost no discomfort afterward, and they got me right in the next morning for a quick bite adjustment. The office staff was courteous and responsive, too. No complaints, would recommend them to everyone, and of course, I'm super happy to have a healthy smile again. This office is definitely bustling, but I never felt rushed and I haven't had to wait more than 15 minutes for anything in the 4 visits I've made so far.

Having some issues with jaw pain possible TMJ. Sent an email to the office on Sunday night because I don’t have a dentist. As soon as they opened on Monday morning, the office reached out. The representative was very pleasant to speak with and was able to help me schedule a same day appointment. Did all paperwork prior to arriving so check-in process was quick. Kaleigh the dental assistant was very nice and comforting. Spoke with the dentist who was very nice and took the time to explain what was going on and a treatment plan.
