Absolutely amazing experience. Conveniently located and everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you feel beyond comfortable from the time you enter the door. My dental hygienist was the sweetest thing! She was all smiles - very pleasant and you even get a blanket to keep you warm if you'd like AND she hung a happy birthday banner for me since I had just recently had a birthday. I felt just like family. Then, to take it a step further, both my hygienist and Dr. Marbell took the time to thoroughly make sure that I was well informed & patiently answered any questions that I had. I'm new to the area and coming here was the first time that such time and effort was invested in my dental visit. I am a new patient to Parkside Dental and after my first visit I am very satisfied with my experience. All of the staff I have met so far were both courteous and friendly. I also felt all of the staff are focused on the patient which is not always the case in other Dental offices I have experienced. My hygienist was fantastic!!! She did a great job in explaining everything that she was doing and was very sensitive to any discomfort I felt during the procedures she was performing. I will definitely feel better about future appointments knowing she will be handling my treatment. Also Dr Mislanker was great. After my exam she recommended a treatment plan and was very courteous during our discussion about her recommendation, which made me feel more comfortable. So after my first visit I give the office 5 stars!!!!!

I had a procedure done and paid in full. Weeks later I received another bill for a very large amount. It may be a mistake or I may have miss understood the situation so I called for an explanation. I was told someone would call me back. Nobody ever called me, I got a letter in the mail saying I would need to dispute it in writing. Can’t recommend this office enough. My experience here actually makes me angry that I’ve had subpar experiences everywhere else. The whole staff makes you feel like family - it’s incredible, really. It’s a warm, judgement-free, non-intimidating environment that would put anyone at ease. My hygienist, Sara, was really friendly and took time to educate me about what’s going on with my teeth. Dr. Marbell is a really nice guy, and doesn’t have an arrogant bone in his body. They are all very thorough and I didn’t feel rushed a single time. This place really has something good going on.

Absolutely the best dental office I have been to. Katie was awesome, and made my experience easy and care free. She took her time and was very patient with me because I have very tender gums. She was very open and honest about her concerns, and even took the time to walk me through processes to make my hygiene the best it has ever been. Since I started going here my teeth have gotten stronger, my inflammation has went down, and my teeth are whiter than ever. Dr. Marbell was great as well. He agreed with everything Katie said and offered plenty of advice about my issues as well. He takes his time and is not in and out like most Dentist. He takes the time to talk to his patients and gets to know them on a professional and personal level. It’s not always about a dollar, making a patient feel welcomed like Parkside does along with great dental care is enough to keep me coming back. I drive an hour to go see them so you know it must be a great experience. They also stay open late certain days of the week and do Saturday care a sometimes during the month for people that work all the time like myself. This is a special place and I would not want to go somewhere else.

Even though I live in Northern Durham and could go to any other dental office I choose Parkside Dental. The experience is like visiting a second family. Dr. Maribell and Dr. Mislankar are personable asking about any family events. I enjoyed talking to Sarah the dental hygienist she shares her passion so you can really know her beyond work. I scheduled an appointment to have the dentist look at a chipped veneer. Upon arrival they realized I had not had a regular cleaning for some time and worked me in for a full exam. I was the last appointment before lunch for them and they worked me in knowing that it would be a longer exam that way. I cannot say enough about how polite, personable and professional everyone I encountered was. The front desk was great, Mary took me back and got me started, Crystal my hygienist, Dr. Mislanker and the young lady who explained my treatment plan pricing options to me; they were all fantastic. No one came across 'fake nice' they all seem to genuinely care and work to provide great care and a great experience. After one visit I have complete confidence in their ability and desire to provide quality care. The 5 star reviews certainly do not lie: this is a fantastic place to get work done. I had a cracked tooth and they gave me several options and then their professional opinion. Being in the business of options, I appreciated this style and felt comfortable doing what was best for my teeth. The reception office is friendly and smiling while Dr. Marbell is in a league of his own as far as "bedside manner." He took time out of his day to have a delightful conversation with me. It's not normal to leave a dentist feeling warm and fuzzy, but these folks pull it off consistently. They are professionals, every one of them.

Excellent service by the whole staff. Front office is courteous and professional. The hygienist I saw, Sara, was friendly, highly skilled. The staffs are good. I saw Dr.Mislankar and first few visits were fine. But the most recent one, I went to fix my chipped tooth and I had painful days after that. Half of my face was in pain the whole day. My lips had cuts and bruises and lasted for days. It was embarrassing coz my lips were swollen and it was hard to speak. I am never going back there. I thought I would get the care but all I have getting is more pain afterwards.not done.

The visit was fine. The staff are very friendly and patient. The only thing I was surprised by was being charged for fluoride. I noticed it on my bank account and not informed while checking out. I had a follow up appointment recently and felt pressure to ask first before allowing dentist to proceed with additional steps in the treatment. I LOVE this place! The staff are so personable, understanding, and educated. I have dental anxiety to the MAXIMUM; however, Leah #2 made sure that I was relaxed, comfortable, and even had a jam out session with me as I listened to music to help relax me. She even sang to me. :) I'm also self conscious about my teeth and gums but Leah #2 and my dentist did an excellent job of letting me know that the current state can be rectified. I drive about an hour one-way for my appointments as I live in Greensboro, NC and will continue to because THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!

Parkside Family Dental is the best dental practice I've ever been to. The staff and dentists are great, and they use the most advanced technology that I haven't seen in other offices. My 5 year old son also really enjoyed his visit, especially the toys he got as a reward at the end. Parkside hits the mark in all categories. Dr. Harward and his team (Leah) are professional yet focus on what you say without interruption and you feel you are their only patient. Every step of the way they informed me what they would be doing next and relieved any potential anxiety. When I had a broken tooth, they took me in that day and I was not even an established patient yet. The front staff are equally as professional, friendly and focused on questions I had and researched thoroughly before answering. ( financial/ insurance questions). Technology is the latest available which shows investment in their patients. I cannot say enough accolades about this team. High staff turnover! What you can expect is high staff turnover that isn’t experienced in billing. My issues regarding billing was ongoing and my last visit was the straw that broke the camel’s back as a unfamiliar staffer was trying to explain to me my policy and account that she totally unfamiliar with. With this FACT comes the irritation of having to explain billing multiple billing discrepancies each visit. The décor is nice but who cares if billing isn't going to be accurate and the website concerning what the dentist is able to perform isn’t accurate. The website site Cleary stated adult braces are available and what they offer in the area. I took off work drove over thirty minutes for the doctor to look me in my face and say I am sorry adult braces is much too complex so we only offer Invisalign to adults. I said that isn’t what I requested when making the appt and that isn’t what your site states. He apologized and said he would make sure that his website is updated. Also look for the hygienist to sell you’re an arsenal of products that may or may night work for you, you are totally pressured to buy as if you don’t understand what works for you and why. I found my visits upsetting when departing because of poor documentation and many billing discrepancies. Leah and I went over my last bill that WAS over 200.00 and was reduced to $39.64 because the charges were not warranted. Thus, I am out because I have no time to duplicate my efforts to ensure that I am billed correctly the first time. If you go check behind them and keep track of services that are rendered because the next visit no one will remember what happened but you!

This is by far the BEST dental experience! Everyone is super-nice and accomodating. It never feels like you are at the dentist office...very comfortable waiting area - which you are never in for long; the most up to date tech and service in the industry with 2 TV's in the actual office- 1 on the ceiling to watch while you are reclined; they can do x-rays right there in your chair; and you can checkout right there in about 60 seconds! Can NOT overstate the how wonderful the staff is and the ease and comfort experienced. Just go!

The hygienist who attended to me on this visit, Leah, is a very polite and friendly young lady that will help any patient open up and ask questions he/she may be reluctant to ask otherwise. The clarification help me understand test results and measurement so I can better focus on where I need better daily dental care. Knowing the meaning of what a hygienist is telling a medical clerk also reduces the apprehension and make for a pleasant dentist visit. They were able to address a cavity that needed to be filled during my appointment so that I did not have to return.
