The first time I saw Dr. Oleg, who is friendly, caring, and competent. I was just there for a cleaning/exam, but he went the extra mile to check to see what my insurance covered (and contrast that with the insurance I had coming up for a different job) so that he could advise me on when to have some work done. He was also extra careful to make sure it was a completely painless experience. Lucy, the hygienist, gave me probably the most thorough (yet painless) cleaning I've ever had! Last week I went in to get fitted for a nightguard and was seen by Dr. Tim Culotta, who was also terrific.

I was in NYC on an 11 hour layover and decided to head into the city. While in the Village I develop a horrible pain in my upper jaw/tooth. I googled and found VDM and called them. They took me right in, gave me X-Rays, and fixed me up before my flight out. They were courteous, helpful, and professional. They even emailed me my X-Rays so I could forward them to my Dentist. I highly recommend them!

Great positive Experience. Needless to say Dr. Oleg and his entire staff are very experienced, friendly and use a best a course of action approach to providing you with the best treatment based on the case on hand. In my opinion one of the biggest concerns patients might have is trying to second guess the Doctor's recommendation on treatment plan thinking it may not be viable. I firmly believe Dr. Oleg alleviates these concerns by providing the best possible treatment plan with an intention of causing minimum disruption financially or otherwise. I recommend the team at Village Dental Medicine highly and without reservation.

I absolutely LOVE coming here. For both adults and children, the approach is always so gentle and the norm is always to be super friendly, like a family. My son (3yrs old) has always loved the experience from the start. Not only does he always look forward to the little play zone they have there, but all the dentists have ALWAYS gone above and beyond what they need to do. Not to mention they are always so accomodating with the schedule. One of the hygienists even helped hold my 1 year old when I needed to have x-rays. Needless to say, our whole family comes here.

I arrived at 8:45 for a 9AM appointment (the first of the day). I was greeted by staff and brought back from the waiting room at 9 (makes sense), but was not greeted by the dentist until 9:20. I did not have a pleasant experience with the dentist, he was very harsh on my teeth. They are still sore a few hours later, which is unusual for a cleaning.

Went here for my 6-month cleaning based on recommendation from my husband. He raves about how clean his teeth feel and how well they do a great job. I'm glad I finally listened. Village Dental is a clean, modern space with attentive front desk personnel, professional hygienist, warm and knowledgeable dentist. Little things make a difference considering we have so many options for dentists nowadays. For example, they have a charger in the waiting area. They also give you a goodie bag (perfect for travel size) when you're finished packed with a full legitimate oral b toothbrush (not the crappy, disposable kind you get from hotels) , mouthwash, toothpaste and dental floss. Also, my lips tend to dry up during cleaning regardless of how much Vaseline I put on it before the appointment. The dental hygienist offered to put more in my lips as she was cleaning my teeth. Now that's what I call service! Will definitely stick to this place for my twice yearly cleaning.

Absolutely hate this place. The wrong address was given to me, therefore I got lost. They told me to still come in, I did, it was my first time there( ...and absolute last) They took xrays , exam and a cleaning on my 11yr old son ALL IN 10mnts. I couldn't hide my face of disbelieve ! I asked them when would they be doing the exam and cleaning? Dr MILA said she had examined him as they were doing xrays. Really!!! I paid over $300 for this. Please stay away. I would not recommend this place at all. They charged me 500$ for 3 fillings even with insurance. Went to DDS in FiDi and had 2 fillings for $180. The receptionists said it’s their “fee structure” I think the dentist did a good job with my fillings but I got weird vibes from him. It’s manhattan, there are much better dentists out there as well as less expensive

I had such a pleasant experience at this office! The front desk is friendly and helpful and the office itself is beautiful. They made sure everything was covered by my insurance before they went ahead and did anything. The doctor was very friendly, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. He gave me very sound advice which I appreciated. He found a small cavity and filled it in 10 minutes at the same appointment! The only thing I didn't enjoy was my interaction with the dental hygienist. I have a very very small gap between my front two teeth that I barely even notice but she asked "aren't you bothered by the gap between your front teeth? We can fix that" as if it SHOULD be something that I don't like about my smile. I told her it didn't bother me but she kept mentioning invisiline. I am so happy I've found a dentist in the city! I'll definitely be coming back!

Dr. Culatta was amazing. Not only very knowledgeable that really friendly as well! I usually go to a great Dentist in mid town but I thought I cracked a tooth and I wanted someone close by and right away so my friend recommended Dr. Culatta. I was in his chair by the next morning and within an hour everything was fixed and feels great and looks great!
