My appointment was right on time! The dental hygienist went over each detail before she proceeded which made me extremely comfortable throughout my X-ray and cleaning. I first came to see Dr Kiani in 2001. In the pre-Internet review days, my sole criteria for choice was that she was in my health network and her office was located right around the corner from my office at that time. Since 2001, I had, at least 6 other jobs, with offices as south as Wall Street and as north as Columbia University. During that time, I have never even thought of changing my dentist due to proximity to my office. The sole reason, Dr Kiani and her wonderful staff. I have had numerous dentists prior to Dr Kiani, but she is truly a standout. She is intelligent, professional, an very talented. She spends time with me at each appointment and explains all her diagnostic activities and goes over all of the possible treatments. Most importantly, she really cares and that makes her very special. When my wife had a child, Dr Kiana had a beautiful gift waiting for me at my next appointment, That has never happened before. As an added bonus, Dr Kiani's incredible staff, turn a normally unpleasant activity into one that I actually look forward to. I now consider Carmin and Rosa as family. Not only are they lovely, but they are masters of insurance reimbursement too! I look forward to staying a patient of Dr Kiani's for many years to come.

The office is okay but if anything ever goes wrong don’t expect them to take care of you. We had made our appointment a month in advance, and even called the day of to confirm the appointment for 11:30. The receptionist told us a totally different time and we even questioned it over the phone, and she didn’t even bother to double check, she just assumed that we were mistaken. Ok, fine, so we trek all the way to this Manhattan office from Brooklyn, just to be told that we had missed(!!) our appointment (at 11:30 like we remembered), and that the receptionist confused us with another patient. TO TOP IT OFF we were told that we’d have to make ANOTHER appointment and come back. I hate to leave negative reviews but I just can’t believe how they handled this whole situation. Healthcare 101: NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH before you start giving out incorrect information!

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! If I could give six stars, I would. If you're looking for any sort of dental work, come here! Like many people, I'm not the biggest fan of going to the dentist and so I put it off for too long. When I came in, everyone was so nice to me and has continued to do so throughout all my dental work. Carmen and Jessica have been so nice and helpful figuring out appointments and insurance. I have needed work from the endodontist (Gabrielle Lobato-Wortman) and the periodontist (Dr. Maxim Podolsky) and they have been so kind and my procedures thus far have gone swimmingly. I will definitely be coming back every six months for my check ups in the future!! Update: as I have now also gotten extensive periodontal surgery from Dr. Podolsky, I wanted to update my review to add that he is an absolutely outstanding periodontist. Not only did he do an amazing job on what was certainly not an easy gum graft surgery, but he was kind, patient, and thorough in his explanation with any question I had. I would *highly* recommend him to anyone who needs any sort of periodontal work.

Dr. Kiani is a wonderful dentist. I've been a patient for six years. Even though it's no longer near my work I keep coming here. She's so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The hygienists are always great and do a thorough cleaning. I have jaw pain and gum sensitivity and they are very gentle. For folks who are like me and have an irrational fear of the dentist (and have been known to cry in the exam room) this place is highly recommended! The front office staff are really nice and responsive.

Dr. Kiani has been my dentist for 18 years and I have to say that she’s the kindest and most gentle clinician I’ve ever known. In all that time, (with the exception of a few extra minutes of waiting for my appointment) I’ve never had a problem. The fillings she put in some 15 years ago are still in great condition and the other work she has done has been exemplary. It’s evident that Dr. Kiani cares about her patients from the generous amount of time she has spent explaining the treatment plan to me. But perhaps the best thing about seeing her: I’ve never felt a drop of pain.

I can't stress enough how friendly everyone is. And the whole process is very organized, they schedule your next appointment when you're there and send text and email reminders, which means I have my teeth cleaned regularly, much more regularly than I would if I had to remember to call to schedule each appointment. Billing has always been simple and straightforward, never a charge that I don't understand or that is too high, which is unfortunately common with other health services. I've recommended Dr. Kiani to a number of my colleagues and all are very happy!

Great service with wonderful staff. A dentist is a dentist when it comes down to the routine cleanings, but what I love about Dr. Kiani and her team is that they don't try to up sell you on anything, and if they know you are interested in something cosmetic, like invisalign, she told me to wait until they're getting a promotional deal so it'll be cheaper. They're also flexible on payments so things can span two calendar years for FSA. Lastly, everyone who works there is a gem. Going to the dentist is a pleasure (or as much as it can be) when you see Dr Kiani and all the fantastic women who work here.

Honestly, the staff here is just the best! Not only is the location super convenient (right across from Penn Station) The whole experience is just great. Call in and make your app't with either Rosa or Carmen, both of whom are extremely friendly and accommodating. Come in see their smiling faces and then sit in the ever so dreaded dentist chair and meet Charnese who puts all fears at ease. She makes the bad news sound not so bad :) Shes very gentle and thorough and Dr. Kiani goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is perfect. Wouldn't trust my mouth with anyone else =D

Everyone in this office is great! I've been coming here for eight years since my sister recommended them to me (this was our childhood dentist's office) and have never had a problem. I always set up my appointments during my lunch hours so I never have to wait. I think the longest time I've ever waited to be called was 10 minutes. Lauren is the best dental hygienist. Carmen is the sweetest--any problems with your insurance, she'll take care of it the best she can. As soon as I come in, I always get such a greeting. One would think we were BFFs. (I jokingly considered us to be since I was there almost each week at some point.) Dr. Kiani is very sweet. She has never pushed any procedure on me if I didn't want it. One day my filling came out and she took me in the same day I called. I think I've had every major dental procedure done here and have met the other oral surgeons and they were both very nice as well. I recommend this place to anyone needing a new dentist!

I haven't been to the dentist in a couple years but Nina's team made me feel very comfortable throughout my cleaning. As a new customer I was able to make an appointment with in a couple days that accommodated my schedule. The receptionist Carmen was very friendly and followed up the day before my appointment. Tia cleaned my teeth and gave me digital xrays that were much quicker than I was use to. She was also very helpful in recommending the best way to help my brushing where I had problems for my teeth. Definitely would recommend to those looking for a dentist.

Everyone is wonderful at Dr. Kiani's practice. I have been a patient here for more than 10 years now. I went in for a much needed deep teeth cleaning and also for fillings in three of my teeth. Charnese and Lauren are great hygienists and they're great cleaning teeth without pain. They are both very nice so my anxiety level was not very high (I always get anxious at the dentist). Dr. Hwang is amazing! He is very professional and made sure that I was comfortable during the process of getting my fillings, I had to get my old ones replaced. They came out perfect and I am so happy with his work. I also have to comment on the awesome ladies at the front desk. Rosa and Carmen work very hard to accommodate scheduling and make it a joy to come in with their smiles and helpful suggestions for dental savings. Where do I begin,,, I've been going to Dr Kiani's since July 2008 and everything from regular cleaning, fixing a chipped tooth, wisdom teeth extraction, to my invisalign procedures have been absolutely excellent! She is top of her field in all areas of dentistry without a doubt! I can't stop there... Her team are all fantastic as well! Shout out to Carmen and Rosa who have been nothing less than amazing in terms of helping me with insurance, inquiries, rescheduling, and most of all... I can call them friends. I'm off to Europe for work and will definitely miss my visits (I would have expected to say that about the dentist ever). Nonetheless, Dr Kiani is highly recommended.

The staff at Dr Kiani's office is great (including Dr Kiani herself). I see the hygienist Lauren & she always has me in & out in as little time as possible. I saw the other hygienist a couple times & didn't love her so now I always make sure I specifically book with Lauren. All the people at the front desk are warm & courteous. Dr Kiani is soft spoken & gentle which I think is great for a dentist :) Everyone is knowledgable. I gave 4 stars because occasionally (only occasionally) there is a wait - sometimes in the waiting room & sometimes in the chair.
