I moved upstate 16 yrs ago but travel to NYC to Dr. Best because it has always been such a positive experience. Dr. Best is particularly kind and has treated my son with the utmost care. He and his staff are always so caring, thorough and respectful with my son and have instilled great dental hygiene habits in him. I also really appreciate that we have rarely had to wait more than 10-15 mins to be seen. Jed Best, DDS is The Man. In fact, the entire practice is second to none. My two sons have been loyal, devoted patients for almost 22 years, ever since the older guy fell on his two new front teeth at 18 months, pushing them ever so slightly back up into his gums. Dr. Best saw him immediately that day (our first visit), and gave him great care and follow-up, while immediately putting me at ease. One of the most painful parts of watching these boys grow up is realizing how ridiculous they'd look as adults sitting in the chair watching SpongeBob Squarepants while the best dentist in town attends to them with kindness, gentleness, patience, charm and humor. My younger guy is still with Dr. Best, and I'm holding on for dear life! Thank you, Dr. Best! (And although we've only visited with him a few times, Dr. Jerry is just terrific! And the lovely, kind, incredibly efficient staff, love them!)

He is friendly, knowledgable, and has really gotten to know me over the years. Great treatment. We were seen quickly and with two kids we were in and out within a half hour. My daughter was in tears going in but the hygienist quickly turned that around and within seconds had her smiling and laughing. And Dr. Best also has a great way with kids. We were nervous taking our two year twins to the dentist for the first time but it was actually a great appointment. Dr Best and everyone on his staff were all so kind and patient. They clearly know how to make kids comfortable. I loved how they introduced basic dental equipment without forcing anything on the babies. They showed the girls what each device does and let them touch it so they understood. Worked like a charm! The waiting room was stocked full of toys and the girls each got to pick toys as we were leaving. There were no tears, no screaming and no fear. The doctor gave us great advice and insisted that we reach out via phone or email anytime we had questions. So relieved and so happy with our experience!

So far, so great...5 years. He is really nice, amicable, makes kids comfortable. His staff is great. The free (little) toy-gift bin helps a lot! And they seem to have state-of-the-art equipment. If I were not as happy as we've been, I would not go out of network (have to file the forms ourselves) but no desire to switch.

Dr Jerry is always full of great energy and puts my kids at ease. I never feel rushed when he is tending to my kids. We haven't had any complicated dental issues beyond a couple of fillings and have no complaints. They don't take insurance but they do print out the form for you to submit for reimbursement.

You and your child are in the best, most caring, most knowledgeable hands with Dr. Best and Ashrafi. My daughter has been in Dr. Best's care for over 18 years, since she was 11 months old. He has taken care of her through baby tooth milk cavities, a pulpotomy or mini root canal, and protected her teeth with fluoride gel and sealants. The staff from office to dental technicians are wonderful with children (and parents). They have video game consoles, blocks, and all sorts of things and a beautiful 'Nemo" style salt water fish tank to distract those that need it before their appointments. They are always very punctual. There are also televisions with children's programming which can be changed or turned off in the treatment rooms. Seriously the "best" pediatric care you can get. Can't recommend the practice highly enough!!!!

Blown away! Took my 2.5 year old to his first dentist appointment today assuming it would be a total disaster. It was anything but. The dentist and hygienist we're amazing. So skilled at working with young children and were able to give my son a full check up and cleaning. I was amazed. And the best part is in the end my son left feeling so proud of himself. The dentist and hygenist both praised him for being so good. As soon as we walked outside my son exclaimed "I did it!". He was so proud of himself and so was I .I cannot say enough good things. Highly recommend .

Saw Dr. Best for most of my childhood, when I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed (at the age of 19) i was informed by my oral surgeon that they were severely impacted and dangerously close to a nerve, and that I should have had them removed three years ago. I now have to get all 4 removed, the first procedure to remove two of them took an hour and 30 minutes due to the complications. The oral surgeons office never received any xrays from Best, and no one at Best's office EVER mentioned my wisdom teeth despite regular xrays for years.
