I really enjoy this dentist office. The entire staff has always been very friendly and courteous to me every time I go for my appt. On a normal visit, you'll talk to like 5 different people, but each person explains what they do very thoroughly. Meaning you'll speak with someone that does x-rays or someone that does the cleaning or someone that does billing or the dentist, but each person is always very nice and explain what they do. Lastly, Dr Maya is the best doctor I've ever dealt with.

This place was awesome to go to and I really did miss going to this place. I would have recommended them to others, but it’s been 7 years since I’ve lived in NYC and every few weeks I get a call to schedule an appointment. At each of those occasions, I reminded them that I no longer live in NYC and each of them will tell me that they have removed me from their system, but I continue to receive calls. I fear that recommending anyone to go to this place would be like adding their email address or phone number to a scam website. It’s fair to assume that if they cannot listed to simple feedback, will they really care for your well being or their bottom line? Unless I’m convinced otherwise, I would not recommend anyone to this place.

I am pretty sure like every other New Yorker hearing anything free you may entertain a conversation with a stranger. However, do not waste your time with these people. I honestly, feel robbed and I am uncomfortably disgusted by it. They told me I needed two cavities but failed to show me the pictures, citing the images were not clear. I blame myself for trusting a place whom sole intent is to make money. The staff seems poorly trained or a amateur in thier field. To make matters worst, I was misinformed by a nurse that I could use my FSA account althought it was slated to go in the effect next benefit year. I was uncertain about such information, so I contacted my insurance and they told me this was wrong! I would never ever ever visit this place again although I never recieved my “ Free Teeth Whitening,” I respect agressive they are with looking for potential clients, however every other aspect is to be questioned. Remember, nothing is life is free they will claim you have cavities and if you are like me you will believe it. This is my first time ever leaving a review for anything but I am really disgusted but this place! If they called you hang up and block them!

They work with your insurance, provide a detailed overview of what's needed and how much it will cost, and they work with your financial situation if out of coverage dental work is recommended but you're not able to afford it at the time. PLEASE READ: 212 DENTAL IS A SCAM: Please Filter for All 1-Star Reviews & Observe the Consistencies: I was contacted by the sales organization that 212 Dental Care employs for leads, and told that I would be IN-NETWORK at this practice after providing my insurance information to a "coverage specialist" over the phone (foreshadowing), and decided to make an appointment. Upon arriving, I was made to wait at least 30 minutes past my appointment time before being seen. Once in the chair, I was pushed to have X-Rays done, although I had had X-rays taken just a year prior. I asked if I would incur any additional costs for getting X-Rays done, and was told NO - a FALSE claim - by the practitioner. I then received an examination and cleaning that can only be described as rushed - I did not feel as though my mouth was thoroughly examined, nor thoroughly cleaned, and the hygienist's primary goal was clearly to be finished as quickly as possible, rather than to do a good job. After the cleaning, I was brought to a separate room to review my bill. The bill IMMEDIATELY raised red flags for me. I provided the copy to my insurance company, who not only informed me that I was OUT OF NETWORK (212 Dental and their contracted associates directly LIED to me about the nature of their relationship with my insurance provider, Delta Dental), but that the bill was AT LEAST 2X MORE EXPENSIVE than any typical price quote, either in or out of network. The prices I was charged were 5X what I should have been charged, assuming 212 was actually an in-network provider as I was told. 212 Dental Care also informed me that I had cavities that needed filling, and gave me a price quote for treatment, encouraging me to get them filled right away. I provided this quote to my insurance provider, who informed me that the quote was absurd - 4X HIGHER than other local offices, even outside of DD's core network. My experience in getting this resolved was awful. The process spanned weeks, and got to the point where I no longer had the energy to protest. I was harassed by 212's collection team several times per day while at work. After finally receiving a small discount, thanks to the efforts of 212's customer service department (possibly the best people within the practice - they were genuinely sympathetic, having received dozens of complaints from other patients during the same time, I was told), I spent nearly ALL of my dental insurance allocation for the year, on what should have been a routine, $145 exam and cleaning. My experience was worse than I have the time and space to explain here. The blatant lies, lack of sympathy, and disregard for the wellness of patients sets 212 Dental Care apart from any other dental practice I have visited. If this were a brokerage firm, they would be an illegal Pump & Dump - preying on consumers for their business, robbing patients & their insurance providers, and leaving them all out to dry. If this is not illegal, it should be. [*Note - I will do my best to find out. Formal reports have been filed through my insurance company & NY governing bodies.]

On the positive: this is the most highly efficient office I've ever been in. The customer service is off the charts. However, I had a bad experience with a dentist that gave me two fillings. My gums haven't been the same and I've never had any issues with my mouth. None (outside of a cavity every decade or so). I went back to have a new filling polished down because food kept getting caught on it. But I still have issues: wide space between two teeth that wasn't there before, food is still getting caught someplace back there (never happened before), I floss constantly (as I should) but now I have sore agitated gums. And to top it all off, I was charged $600 directly (which has never happened before)....so I won't be going back.

Had a teeth cleaning + replaced some old metal fillings from China w/ new ones. Had a great experience w/ Dr. Green. Highlights were: 1. Staff was very pleasant and friendly, (both the front-desk staff and the dental assistants). Very open in terms of explaining the procedures, how my insurance will cover the services, expected charges, etc. 2. Dr. Green was highly efficient with the fillings. She was also careful to make sure that my bite was perfect after the procedure, even if it meant taking extra time 3. Hygienist who did my cleaning was great as well. Steer clear from this office, calls your business phone to lure you into a "free" teeth whitening, but then asks when you had your previous cleaning since your teeth need to have a cleaning prior to the whitening. Even if you say you got it done yesterday they will still make up some BS so that they can run your insurance for a teeth cleaning for god knows how much make up for the "FREE" teeth whitening. Pretty pathetic, fooled yourself. Try to make your pitch sound more natural instead of an operating machine.

For the past 2 -3 years I have been receiving calls and emails from this company offering free teeth whitening with a cleaning. After months and months of declining I decided to give it a try. Everyone in my office was waiting to hear about my experience because no one wanted to be the "guinea pig". The office was very high tech with the latest equipment. I have my teeth cleaned and then I was told that I had to have 4 fillings. I was told that they could perform 1 filling and the rest at a cost of $360 (which the insurance didn't cover). I agreed. Since acquiring a new insurance carrier I called for a refund on the services I did not receive. I have made several calls on this inquiry and have heard nothing back from anyone. Finally spoke with someone and was told that my payment plan of $72 a month was only for the 1 filling. I'm hearing a total different story now than what I heard before, feeling dismissed and mislead this is definitely not a facility I would utilize again. Nor would I recommend it to anyone else. When they want your business they are calling, texting and emailing non stop. When you have an issue or you need some clarification you have to reach out multiple times to them. I knew there was a catch I'm just sorry it took me months down the line to find out what it was.

I have received calls from this practice spamming me about teeth whitening everyday for the last 3+ weeks. Every time I have asked them to take me off of their list, they have assured me they would not be calling again, only to do the same thing again the next day (or even later the same day). I finally told them I will be leaving them 1 star on Google if they call back again (such a serious "ultimatum" :) ! ). Of course, they call back the next day... so, here it is... Please have more control of your call center and avoid over-spamming other businesses!

I’ve been there a few times and have had mixed experiences - each time a different dentist, usually longer than average wait times. I stopped going because they were no longer under my insurance plan. Since my last visit they call me about once a month, work and mobile. Each time, I politely ask them to take me off their call list. It doesn’t matter, someone else calls again, weeks later like clockwork.

I love the friendly, professional and quick service 212 dental provides. I'm able to be seen during my lunch break. There isn't a long like other offices. Usually, I'm in and out in less than an hour. This past Sunday (Yes, open 7 days a week) I had an appointment for my son and I. He enjoyed his time in the chair, at first he was scared but dental hygienist made him comfortable while cleaning his widdle chiclets. The staff looked after my son while I had my teeth cleaned and a filling replacement procedure done. Another PLUS, a quote was given prior and they actually took the time to go over what my insurance covers and what I will pay out of pocket. They also offered a payment plan which is divided over 5 months. High recommend 212 Dental.

The entire staff was amazing. The thing that I noticed upon walking into the waiting room was that they actually acknowledged you with smiles and hellos. My team who consisted of Dr. Singh, Jessica, Estephania were efficient and extremely pleasant. So glad that I kept the appointment. I was honestly motivated to leave a positive post today, believing they were going to correct a surface filling for a chipped tooth that came out after 7 months. Instead I left having been treated like a liar. UPDATE: I originally gave them 1 star. But their customer service head Thais showed that as a whole the office cares about its customers. Horrible. They lure you in with a free whitening. Before you can get it, you’d need to have an exam and cleaning which they will charge your insurance whatever amount they want. Simply because they can with a PPO dental. So you’re more than likely are going to have surprise bills. GOOD LUCK

Fake marketing promotions. They claimed that they don't charge the medical insurance but after taking all sensitive information and wasting my 15 mins, i was told that we don't take HMO. Be aware and just hang up the call before wasting you precious time.

Haven't been to the dentist in a long time so needless to say I had a lot of fillings I needed done. I've gotten 6 out of 8 so far and each time the staff here (both medical and clerical) was efficient and courteous. They are very knowledgeable and I'm in and out pretty quickly. The staff is super friendly. The hygienists listen and give great dental advice. The doctors are also fantastic. Over the years, I've gotten into the habit of being pretty early to all my doctors' appointments, as there's usually a wait. That is NOT the case here. I've been taken back to an office almost immediately every time. Can't say enough good things about this dental group.

I explained this when I called and requested to be told who referred me but the staff on the phone put the phone down on me. I would strongly urge you to stop requesting referrals in this way.

The office is comfortable and welcoming. My dentist, Dr. Green, is very skilled and passionate about her role. She filled multiple cavities and performed a root canal on me. Dr. Green, along with her assistant, made the procedure, well, as enjoyable and painless as a root canal can be. Every time I call the office, a member of the staff answers immediately and attends to my needs. There aren't any hold or wait times. If you are concerned about dental expenses, don't fret, 212 Dental Care provides patients with payment plans. Last, 212 Dental provides it's patients with free laser teeth whitening. And they gave me a $50 Amazon gift card for scheduling my last 2018 appointment on time. I am a huge fan of 212 Dental. I highly recommend them to everyone!

They are highly professional and a wonderful staff. After checking in I was waiting for maybe 10 minutes at the most before I was called up for my exam. If you work in the city you know how hard it is to find a good dentist that is open after hours. Well they have excellent dentist and close at 9 PM. Highly recommended.

I have experienced a few minute wait on a few occasions but the reception staff does a good job of providing updates so you know what to expect. The free whitening after cleaning is a great perk and has kept my teeth looking great.

First I’ll say i got a call about a free whitening but ended up getting a few things done on my teeth that I really needed the staff is diverse and young makes you feel comfortable speaking to them and they were very professional “Hoy” is who did my deep cleaning and I forget the Dr name that did my extraction but it was fast and painless ..I didn’t walk in with any pain and I walked out with none as well didn’t need a Tylenol at all ..thank you 212 dental I will be returning for my laser whitening

Great place for cleanings and whitening—they have absurdly convenient hours, good customer service, and will practically track you down to get you in on time. BUT if you actually have a dental problem that needs assessment and treatment, be careful. They quoted me $3,000 after insurance for a root canal on a molar instead of referring me to an endodontist (a root canal specialist; my dentist friends informed me this is absolutely the right move for this situation) who ended up only charging me $300 because he was in-network. I guess you could say it’s “just business” but as a medical professional myself I think it’s important to keep patients informed of their options, especially when you are recommending something 10x as expensive for demonstrably worse outcomes.

I origi9nally went into the Chicago Loop office back in October or November to receive the free whitening. I was told that I need a deep cleaning which I had about 3 weeks ago. I have had them in the past, but the hygienic was very informative to me about caring for my teeth. I have always been told to floss, but I didn't always stay on top of it. He shown me exactly how I should floss correctly and questioned the time and process of my brushing. I have really been working hard on his tips which he suggested and feel much better about how I brushing and flossing. I have been going to the same dentist for years and have never had this type of one on one teaching. I went in this week for the whitening and again very satisfied. The only thing bad that I have to say is that they need a TV in the whitening room. You are in a position which you are not moving and can't really play games on your phone, so waiting for the process to complete is like watching paint dry. Overall, everything was great and I would recommend this office to everyone.

I am actually not satisfied with 212-Dental care. I went there for a cleaning, they did some x-ray and told me that I have cavities. I said I have no pain on my tooth. They insisted that I get my teeth taken care by them, every time I visited for a cleanup. I finally agreed to do one side of my mouth. Dr Kim was the person who worked on me and she wrecked my teeth. My tooth were fine before but they started hurting after the procedure, which is normal at first. but my teeth were still hurting after several weeks. I went to visit them about it. I saw Dr. Kim she checked my tooth and said there is nothing wrong with it, the pain will go away soon. I never saw Dr. Kim again. I visited them two months later Dr. Kim was no longer seeing me. She somehow is not there when I book an appointment, so a different doctor saw me. They smooth out my tooth. They charge me a lot of money, but my tooth is hurting up to this day. I am not happy. I'm thinking about suing them to be frank. which I have no idea how to do.
