They explain what needs to be done to your teeth throughly and make sure you are aware of the process to have the work completed. I’ve been a patient of 209 dental for over two years and did root canal and general dental exam/cleaning here. I really like Dr. Ahn and Oksana as my hygienist. The cleaning process is always really thorough. Recently they canceled my dental appointment by accident because there was another patient with the same exact name who were booked in the same time frame. I was quite unhappy about it. I got a call from Dr. Kafko immediately and he scheduled me for an app on the same day and made sure I had a wonderful experience. They truly care about their patients and I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The office is beautiful, everyone is very nice, and the level of care is exceptional. It's easy to get in touch via phone or text message, and they break down how much everything is going to cost with your insurance in a very clear way. As others mention, they have different specialists on site, so you can get everything you might need in one place. I highly recommend them!

Though this was lengthy due to my tooth, it was a painless procedure. Kafko, Kaminsky and Kaufman is an excellent practice. I get very nervous about going to the Dentist. My routine check-up was quick and comfortable. The office staff is amazing. They walked me through a dental implant procedure I will be having. For over 15 years, my family and I have had nothing but positive experiences at 209 Dental. The office is modern and welcoming. The staff is well trained, friendly and courteous. The dentists and technicians are top notch. Dr Kafko and Dr Kaminsky along with their fine staff of dentists, specialists and their excellent hygienists truly know what they are doing and do so gently and professionally. On different occasions each of them has responded to dental issues that have arisen, some of which were emergencies. They responded and treated us promptly, thoroughly and treated each situation with the utmost skill and expertise. We go to 209 Dental routinely for cleanings and checkups. In addition, we have had implant, veneer and root canal work done there with the utmost success. We don't mind going to the dentist anymore thanks to 209 Dental!

I strongly recommend dr.Lipner. He is very conservative and will do only what is best for his patients. I had an appointment with him for the root canal, because my previous doctor told me than I needed one. When dr.Lipner did the X-ray he told me that I don't need to do the root canal. He just saved me my time and a lot of money, he could've just make money of me but he didn't do that, because that's not what he believes in. He will only do what best for his patients. He is very professional and kind doctor.

I was a patient here for approximately a year. Despite having straight teeth, I was constantly pressured to opt for Invisalign, which was completely unnecessary. I understand that dental care is a business, but I will not undergo nonessential treatment so that the dentist can make a payment on his Porsche. I also went for several treatments of a chipped tooth, which kept rechipping until I had to go into the office and ask them to void the claim so that I could seek another provider. Luckily, I have a PPO and there are no shortage of dentists in Manhattan. I have since switched providers and could not be happier. I have advised my friends and colleagues against visiting this dental practice and will not be returning.

I started my journey at 209 Dental in September 2017. I automatically felt welcome & was very impressed by the office on my initial visit. I was suggested to get a consult with Dr Ahn for Invisalign due to some crowding of my teeth. Unlike my past dental experiences I never once felt pressured to go through with the treatment after I went through consult. But the time & price was right & I ended up picking up my first set of trays in late September that year. I was oringinally told that my treatment would take some where between 12-18 months depending on how compliant I was with wearing the trays. I came in to see Dr Ahn about every 4-5 weeks for new trays and for him to check how my teeth were doing with the treatment. All visits were informative & timely. Here I am 10 months later finished with my treatment & ive never been happier I made this descision last year. My teeth look great & I can’t stop smiling! Thank you Dr Ahn & all of 209 dental for making this such a wonderful experience.

Obviously no one like to me the drill at the dentist office , but this practice makes it a little easier. From the minute you walk into their practice you feel a little more comfortable about going to see the dentist. They keep a very high standard. Office staff is extremely friendly , the procedure rooms are kept very clean , and the bedside manner of the dental staff from the hygienists to thedental techs , to the dentists are excellent. He made absolutely sure that I felt no pain and was comfortable throughout the procedure. His follow up has been thorough and it's always a pleasant visit. He inspires confidence and I highly recommend him. I also highly recommend Dr Lipnor who I saw for a root canal. The whole staff at 209 is friendly, attentive, and responsive to questions and or concerns. Truly an exceptional experience! I went there due to pain...found them via my insurance for an emergency, and although the location is not the most convenient for me, I've never experienced such a great team of both dentists and staff, and wouldn't even think of going elsewhere now!

I have been a patient for a number of years now with 209 NYC Dental and want to "scream from the roof tops" how FANTASTIC this dental office is!! From my very 1st appointment(just a note that I HATE dentists as I had a very traumatic experience from another dentist involving a root canal and suffice to say, I would rather have a baby than to deal with a dentist, lol!) I was made to feel comfortable, safe and trusting that I was in GREAT hands! Laura, one of the front desk receptionists, was my first encounter at this first appointment, is the most professional, comforting, and knows her stuff, and is sweetest ever! I needed to have a tooth pulled and Dr. Wong (one of the COOLEST dentists ever!) saw my apprehension, picked up an iPad, asked me what type of music do I like and plugged in Etta James for me! Talk about AWESOME! He explained everything he was going to do, let me know he was going to make the extraction as painless as possible and once I settled in, he did just that! I LOVE this office!! I am also taken care of by Dr. Ifraimov for replacement of a broken bridge and he's AWESOME!! I really, REALLY LOVE this office and HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend 209 NYC Dental to my family, friends and anyone looking for a GREAT dentist!!

I just got home from Dr. Wang removing 2 of my teeth. I was very comfortable and the pain was at an extreme minimum. I highly, highly, highly recommend NYC Dental for all your dental needs. The Dr's and staff are overly kind and courteous and very respectful in all aspects. If going to the dentist makes you cringe, I strongly suggest giving this place a chance to relieve your dental stress woes... I have extremely high anxiety but was in great hands and felt at ease getting my procedure done. Even though it's a bit of a hike for me to get there it's definitely worth the trip.

They have amazing and attentive staff, especially Tanya that helped to coordinate my care and accommodated me with all my appointment needs. Im currently undergoing dental work and Invisalign treatment with Dr Ahn. His impeccable bedside manner put all my anxiety at ease. He is knowledgeable and has the hands of gold. Francesca is one of the worst receptionist I have ever encountered. Very impatient, rude, sounded irritated answering questions. Answers were vague so I had to drill down and that’s when she gets impatient. Not helpful and welcoming at all. I called back hoping somebody else picks up and lucky for me, Tony did. She was much better than Francesca. With the kind of first phone encounter I had, I decided to cancel my appointment even if it meant that I have to go to a more expensive dentist. Made the right decision as he place I went to had better customer service starting from the person receiving calls.

Everyone at 209 NYC dental from front desk staff to doctors are super friendly, professional and really seem to be enjoying themselves. Such a good vibe. Almost no wait time and bedside manner was excellent. I'm really glad I decided to go there and discussed my treatment plan which includes extractions, implants and Invisalign. It's a lot of work but wouldn't have it done anywhere else. Certainly highly recommended.

What can I possibly say about a dental office that pushes patients to get services they do NOT NEED and services they provided needed to be redone at our expense? My fiance was SCAMMED into paying thousands of dollars through our dental insurance and out of pocket. And a year later, the crown 209 Dental did just cracked out of nowhere. Thats when I decided to call my mom's dentist who came highly recommended and get a second opinion. He couldnt believe his eyes! And when I told him that we had to come back to 209Dental for more work including crowns, veneers and gum treatment, he looked at me and said that we should be really CAREFUL and that some doctors forget who they are and act worse that used car salesmen in order to make a quick buck. Do yourself a hugh favor and get a SECOND OPINION before you trust them. THIEVES!!!!!!!!!

I usually dread my 6-month cleanings. I have gone through five dental practices over the past seven years while living in NYC and I have to say that my first time here was a pleasant experience, to say the least. I had initially scheduled myself through ZocDoc with a dentist who no longer is there. After taking my initial X-rays, they sat me in "the seat" and in walked Dr. Dmitry Nikitayev, DDS. He performed some preliminary checks due to my mentioning previous issues with grinding my teeth at night and gave me feedback on what might be causing this issue. Then, he started on the cleaning - explaining each step of the process and ways I could improve my oral hygiene. Not only was he a true professional but his performance was thorough yet painless (even while using the water pick which is unheard of for me). I immediately wanted to refer my girlfriend who is the most sensitive person I know when it comes to pain, so I asked whether or not numbing cream could be applied upon request. He said "of course!" and also recommended a hygienist colleague who was also great with those who are more sensitive when it comes to pain. The staff at 209 Dental was courteous and professional as well, asking questions to better service their patients. It was far and away the best experience I've ever had at a dentist office. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for the same experience!

Dr. Wong is amazing and so is his assistant Jessica. Dr. Wong demonstrates that he knows his craft well. I had to have serious gum surgery and 2 teeth extractions. He explained the process step by step, and both he and Jessica did everything they could to put me at ease. Dr. Wong then explained my aftercare very carefully. I'm so happy to have him as my periodontist. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Ben Imframov does great work. I needed veneers on my front teeth. He said I could get 8 on the top, so they all match or just do the 4 fronts. He recommended just getting the 4 in the front done. So he recommended the cheaper option. Surprisingly! He did the work in a couple visits and it came out great! Very Happy! He has before and after shots to prove his work also.
