As someone with previous bad experiences and dental/medical anxiety, it’s difficult to find dental offices who are willing to be accommodating without charging an arm and a leg for their services. From the moment I called to inquire at Rio Rancho Dental Arts, I had only positive and supportive experiences. The receptionists are great, and the dental hygienist, Rachel, was by far the best I’ve ever had. She checked in often to make sure I was okay, and she was thorough but very gentle. My teeth are cleaner than they’ve ever been! I’m grateful to Rio Rancho Dental Arts for easing my anxiety and providing such a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning and will tell everyone I know to visit as well!

I actually chose this dentist based on location and I’ve actually been going here for years before it was RR Dental Arts. I still appreciate the care and help the team provides. I got my teeth cleaned today and they asked if I was having any problems, I mentioned a couple issues and they were able to take care of me right after my cleaning. They also didn’t try to sell me anything which I always appreciate.

First visit. I had a molar that was in bad condition. After exam and consultation decided to extract it. The extraction was done with a minimum of discomfort and the next morning I was better than before. Great experience from the front desk to recovery. Thank you Dr. Woods and staff.

There's a new dentist in town and we highly recommend him! My husband and I made appointments with Dr. Woods and were very pleased with our visits. All of the staff were friendly and professional. The hygienists both did an excellent job of cleaning our teeth. The dentist gave us a very thorough and unhurried exam, explaining everything he found, and offering suggestions to correct our issues without any high pressure. We are happy that we have found an honest and reliable dentist that we can continue to go back to.

Today Dr. Woods installed my crown which I popped out using the the pointed end of a flossing pick. Although he did not originally install my crown he made adjustments and installed the crown at no charge. I have been going to this office for over twenty years and while I do miss Dr Sherm I hope Dr Woods will be my dentist for the next twenty years. I can't say more about the staff they are fabulous.

BY FAR, the worse service ive ever had. My mother and i tried making an appointment for her. When we finally make the appointment for my mother.I was relieved that we made an appointment. I come and find out that when my mother goes to the appointment there is no appointment that was made for her. IF there is new patients OR THINKING ABOUT being a new patient, do not make an appointment here. If the facility is not even going to take the time to make my appointment, then why would i do business with anyone like this

Good dentist.A little slow. Hygienists good and on time. Former office manager and have suggestions for office, Staff introduce self. Wear name tags and/ or post name on wall daily when on duty. Stay quieter at front desk. Front desk staff--no eating when patients and/or families present. Do not overbook dentist with over 15 minute overlap. 30 to 60 minute waiting not acceptable! Minimize non emergent dentist interruptions when he is with another patient. This week I had an appointment with 25 minute interruption time! Friendly staff but correcting above issues would make better office for patients. Thank you to Dr Woods and assistant for coming in in day off to finish my dental work.

Dr. Woods and Rio Rancho Dental Arts is by far the best dentist and dentist office I have ever had the pleasure to use and I have been a patient at many. Dr. Woods is a true professional. He cares about his patients and takes the time to explain every procedure so I know what is going to be done and it makes me feel like I am a part of the process. I have never felt rushed or that I am just one of many people seen in a day. He truly cares for his patients. I have always tried to keep my teeth healthy with regular checkups, fillings, etc, but I have never liked my smile and tried never to be caught smiling without my hand over my mouth. Recently Dr. Woods has provided me treatment that included Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth and completed installing crowns and veneers on my top teeth to replace an old ugly crown, teeth that were mostly filling, and unstable teeth and all done painlessly. Dr. Woods has truly given me the smile I thought I would never have. Now I can't stop smiling. I will be a patient of Dr. Woods forever! Thank you Dr. Woods for my perfect new smile!

The corporation changes dentists in this office too often. I am seen every 6 months for routine cleanings. I was seen by the newest dentist, who told me I had 4 cavities. I will not go back.

I had seen Dr. Woods at my previous dental office and was sad to learn he was relocating to an office in Rio Rancho, so I continued to go to my previous dentist where I’ve been seeing the same hygienist for almost 10 years. When I learned that my hygienist was leaving the practice as well, I made an appointment to see Dr. Woods at the Rio Rancho office. Hey let’s face it, good dentists and hairdressers are worth traveling for! Nonetheless, the experience was great. Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable, caring, and gentle hygienist as well. Chaundra (I hope that’s how you spell it!) has the touch! And of course, Dr. Woods is awesome. We will be spreading the good word that is a promise.
