Dissappointed . The office staff is still fantastic, as was Montoya before his retirement, but the new dentist (Ollason) who is all of 3 years out of dental school has adopted Montoya's (who again, was awesome) fees. I wish you the best Ollason, but if I'm going to pay premium prices, I'd like a more experienced dentist. See ya.

The New Mexico Smile Center provided me with my best dental experience, hands down. I had not had my teeth cleaned in about 10 years, so needless to say I was concerned and apprehensive about my visit. The hygienist, Kelley, curbed my worries with her friendly attitude and her high level of professionalism. She offered me a few great tips, that I didn't know I needed, for which I was thankful. Kelley was gentle, but thorough, and turned this dreaded event into a simple and relatively painless experience. Dr. Ollason was funny and kind and didn't patronize me one bit for not getting my teeth cleaned for the past ten years. He let me know that most of patients were in my same position, and that's ok, and the important thing is that I had finally made it to the dentist. He made me feel appreciated, which isn't something I've felt at the dentist's office before. He was funny and knowledgeable and easy to talk to. When I do go back to the dentist, (one year from now) I'll gladly be going back to NM Smile Center.

Dr. Steve Ollason & his team of professionals at NM Smile Center are the BEST in providing full circle dental care. They actually make it a point to know their patients - they care and are efficient - and it shows at all check points - from saying hello when you walk in the door, to scheduling, the insurance & payment process, providing the best in preventative care, advising, and simply listening to and wanting to resolve concerns. Dr. Ollason and his team care about each other, too - it's obvious, because it's a happy and positive office - which only adds to a great patient experience!

I had a dental emergency (broken front tooth) one evening and randomly called the Smile Center phone number. Dr. Ollason kindly called me back, met me at his office at 8 pm, and expertly fixed my tooth so I could be at work the next day. He was gracious and understanding and I immediately felt very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Ollason and The Smile Center and will continue to be their patient.

I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Ollason for about a year and a half now. The reason I say "working with" is because you can bounce ideas off him and communicate freely during your dental experience! It feels more of a partnership than another average dental visit. I've been to dentists in the past where the atmosphere was dull more or less. I've also avoided dentists for an extended period of time. Most likely for the same reasons a lot of other people do as well. Dr. Ollason and his staff are professionals in their execution throughout your whole experience, starting even before you walk through the doors! Personally, I've had enough work on/in my mouth that surpasses most people. Multiple fillings, a root canal and your periodical cleanings, all pain free. I've also had a couple veneers and bone grafts to help strenghten my jaw bone for future implants. Those of which are the next step in this project we formulated over a year ago. In short, if you have a fear of the dentist for whatever reason, Dr. Ollason and his staff will suppress that fear for good. The only way to truly know is to experience it first hand. I can't thank Dr. Ollason and his staff enough for what they have done for me. If you're embarrassed for whatever reason, don't be! The time is now. You will be grateful you did! Just some words of encouragement from someone who was once in your shoes!!!

For several years I've gone through several dentist. I've never had such great service as I've had here. Ever since my first visit at NM Smile Center, I've been impressed. Since then, me and my family have been coming here for several years and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The staff is really friendly and treat you like family and close friends. The hygienist are amazing and are gentle at cleaning teeth. They listened to my concerns about my jaw and referred me to an equally amazing craniofacial doctor. I brought this up to a dentist I had before and his response was "you have to talk to your primary doctor for that." My jaw feels so much better and it's all because the dentist and his staff listen and genuinely care.

Broke a tooth, called everywhere, it was the eve before Thanksgiving. The only one in the city who called me back was Dr. Ollason. He came out Thanksgiving morning to care for my tooth and relieve my pain. Thanksgiving morning!!! Who does that? Only a dentist who genuinely cares, that's who. I was in and out of pain in no time. If I could give this business 10 stars it wouldn't be enough! From the time I walked into the building to the time I left I was treated with respect and kindness. From getting my teeth cleaned to having a procedure done every staff member was very professional and concerned that I have a good experience. I had a tooth break on a weekend in March 2018. My dentist at the time did not even return my call and I had been seeing him for over 12 years. Dr. Ollason offered to meet me in his office on a Sunday, but I chose to wait until the next morning. I was so impressed with him, his staff, their current technology and wonderful patient care. I am very grateful that I found Dr. Ollason and his amazing team!! I will continue to go there for my ongoing dental needs.

Had and infection in one of my back teeth, brought me some misery for about two months then the past two days it brought me to the point of tears, I couldn't stand the pain. I called the 24/7 helpline and they had this doctor call me. I was in less than 14 hours later and he immediately started working and viola! Less than 30 minutes later the unbearable pain was gone! Highly recommended you go to these guys, take care of you in a jiffy.

Everyone is so friendly from the front desk,to the office manager, and Dr. Ollason everyone had a smile . Kelli was amazing and made everything seem like it was no big deal. I'm extremely fearful of dentist offices and when I started it was the same but soon I was at ease and even fell asleep in the chair once. The technology the use is also amazing. I left and did not feel any pain afterwards which has also never happened. Overall it was the greatest experience I ever had in a chair.
