I moved out here from NY less then a year ago and was very happy to find this office from my wife who’s been coming here for many years. I had some bad gum damage that we had to do some maintenance on and with the periodontal maintenance, we have gotten my gum back to a healthy level in a very short period of time. Armando makes the environment very comfortable and explains everything very thoroughly. I would highly recommend if looking for a family dentist. Whatever oral issues you may have, they will get yo back up and running. They do a great job easing the stress of doing dental work. They are also very understanding and helpful in providing payment plans.

I went in this dentist office to try to get a good regular dentist. I thought at first Dr.Yang was really good and professional. Then I had to have a old Mohler filled. He disagreed. He insisted I needed a crown and started the process. His assist was not experienced, she had no gloves on at sample fit.Then he drilled out my Mohler and left me sitting for 2 hrs.Then the hygienist comes in to clean with Mohler exposed with raw tissue. Wow. Went back 3 times, 3rd time he got upset and raised his voice and started bumping computer screen. With the office Mgr as witness. He said he was upset with me complaining. Now I get letter, he's firing me, I'm not welcome in his office. Wow, don't go there. Terrible and angry dentist.

Dr. Yang was great! This was my first time going to the Dentist in quite a while, but everything went smoothly. I made an appointment and went in not knowing what to expect, but I was seen on time and had a full cleaning and examination. Luckily, I didn’t have any cavities or any issues! He reminded me to floss everyday and sent me on my way. I’ll probably go here again next time.

Warning, they lie BIG TIME Went there for a cleaning, got Xray for $59 but not the cleaning Instead I met a doctor who started to talk about the bad work my previous dentist did and told me that I have: Gum disease, while the tech was checking the depth of my gums I was earring 5-6 & 7 which are very high number and not a good sign of good health gums Then he told me I have a cavity under my veneer, that he needed take care of the cavity, do a root canal and a new crown Total for both $3337 And should do it fast or I might loose all my teeth according to this crock. I tried to save some money to get a cleaning for $59 So I went back to my previous dentist , got Xray of the tooth with the cavity and guess what I HAVE NO CAVITY His tech check the depth of my gums and the numbers I heard: 1- 2 - 3 & 4 which are very good number and sign of good health gums I HAVE NO GUM DISEASE It's rare that I write a review , and I can't stand people writing reviews that sounds like they want the place to shut down, but this place has no ethic. They just try to do numbers, over your back No respect,

My sister recommended Dr. Yang and she wasn't wrong! Everybody was so friendly and nice. I had a toothache that needed a root canal and a crown and Dr. Yang and his team did a wonderful job. The Doctor walked me through all the steps and patiently answered all my questions. The procedures went smoothly and didn't even hurt!!

Dr Jae worked on my wife's night guard recently and the whole procedure was quick and wonderful! The staff was very polite and was very friendly towards us while we were waiting. The night guard was also a perfect fit for my wife and has helped her during her sleep. We will definitely come back again!

Dr. Yang is amazing! I really like this dental practice. I came here for root canal, deep cleaning and wisdom tooth extraction and they did a great job, while also answering all my questions and providing detailed explanations. I had dental phobia because of traumatic dental experience in the past but they changed my perception. They asked me how I was doing every 5 minutes to make sure I was doing okay and to my surprise, it was PAINLESS!!! Now, I'm not afraid to come to dentist. Also, the front desk and billing staff are outstanding, which to me, make a HUGE difference when patronizing any medical practice. They're always polite and personable. Very clean office and fair pricing too! Overall, I highly recommend going here.

Beware of this place!! Went in for a cleaning which I didn't get. Instead I was told I had a cracked molar that needed to be repaired. When the dentist was checking my teeth I was told to put on the filthiest goggles I have ever seen, simply gross. Needless to say, my molar was not cracked. This place is just out to make a buck off of you and your insurance.

I first came to this dentist office with an emergency which they handled immediately. I have been coming back ever since and they do a fantastic job of caring for my teeth. They gently remind me of my need to floss without ever lecturing me. I have never had them offer to provide more care than is needed. Excellent Dentistry.

Everyone was friendly. But unfortunately I had Worst experience ever because i Waited 3 hours to get a cleaning. Kept getting pressured in to getting a procedure done by the dentist when I was just there for a cleaning. When I finally got a cleaning by the dentist, it took him 5 minutes. Did a horrible job. I am so dissatisfied and would never recommend this office or recommend them. He is out for your money and will try to get you to agree to procedures you don't need and will get mad if you don't do them. Worst cleaning I've ever had. He's not a professional dentist.

I feel as though they were "milking" us for everything we had and our insurance too. They did procedures on myself and my daughter that did not need to be done. (according to our current dentist) They overcharged us and never reimbursed us the difference between what our insurance paid and what we overpaid. EVERYONE else around here DOES send us a REFUND when we have overpaid. NOT happy. Now, with what they've done, I am left with extremely super sensitive teeth! They were very friendly. But I honestly think it's all a scam. So beware!

Dr. Yang and his staff are wonderful. I read through the reviews and was quite surprised at the negative comments. We went to Dr. Yang based on a reference by a family member as she knew me and my son had some terrible dental work by dentist (who still currently practice in Albuquerque) and have been a patient of his for almost 3 years now. Dr. Yang has NEVER forced us to do any dental work and has allowed us to manage what we want done. He has given my son a brand new smile. My other son has just had cleanings done, has not needed any dental work by Dr. Yang do not sure why others would believe he is sucking the money out of the insurance. He calls and checks on his patients after a major dental procedure. Jasmine is awesome and Armando did the best cleaning I have ever had. As for waiting, cleaning and checks ups are a breeze, major dental procedures aren’t much longer than other dental offices but Dr. Yang takes his time to make sure things are done right. Crowns are made in his office, so you don’t have to get a temp crown go back for a permanent crown and possibly wait even longer if the crown wasn’t made right. Dr. Yang makes the permanent crown and makes adjustments as needed! Honestly over the last 3 years since we have been his patient we have never, ever had a bad experience and I have referred lots of people to him whom all love it here as well.

I love this dental office. They are always on schedule with my appointments and I've never had to wait passed my appointment time to be seen. There have been occasions that I've had dental emergencies and if they couldn't fit me in that very day, they always squeeze me in on the next day, regardless of how busy they are. They always smile and say, "No problem," and are compassionate regarding my emergency. Dr. Yang is great. I've discussed several cosmetic options I've either heard about or read about and he always takes time to sit and discuss them with me. He usually advises against anything superficial and is always most concerned about my oral health above all else. In the last year, I've moved clear across the metro area to the far northwest area of Rio Rancho, and while I've changed doctors, mechanics, etc., I have not changed dentists. It is worthwhile to me to cross the metro area in order to see Dr. Yang and his team.

I have been going to NEHMD since I moved to town 7 years ago and both my kids have grown up going to this dentist office. I love that they see pediatric AND adult patients at this office so I can make all family appointments for the same day simultaneously or back to back. Also they can make crowns and have periodontal services right there in the office. So convenient and as always, the entire staff is very easy to work with. Highly recommend.

I paid $1500 for a crown that was put in back in 2016, and tonight taking a bite of dinner.... This happens. So now I'm out $1500 and will now have to get a full root canal to have a post put in and ANOTHER crown be made, and have to have the tooth next to it fixed because that cracked when this crown broke. It didn't pop off....it LITERALLY broke. While the staff was nice, this place is ridiculously expensive and clearly the work doesn't last.

This location is my favorite. Dr. Yang is amazing and has taken the best care with me and my dental procedures. Dr. Yang truly cares about how I am feeling during all of my procedures. I am currently going through the process of having an implant put in and I have had no complications or discomfort. The whole staff has gone above and beyond to care for my dental needs and I would HIGHLY recommend this location for all of your basic and extensive dental needs!!

I would advise against this dental office. My first visit was a root canal and crown. It took forever! no laughing gas, I was exhausted, but the dentist was adorable and I gave him a pass assuming all would turn out fine. But it didn't. The crown he gave me cracked 6 months later. When I returned I was told by another dentist he used the wrong product for a molar. Being that I'm not made of money and these two procedures were out of pocket I was pissed. The new dentist assured me he could fix it, but he wanted to charge me another $200 and became annoyed when I refused. It was their mistake, why should I fork over any more money? He eventually agreed, but with an attitude. The time spent there was disastrous. The dental assistants were all new and nobody knew what they were doing. To make a very long story short the dentist put my crown in wrong again, and my jaw is in constant pain. Do not trust these people, they are looking to make money and could care less about their patients.
