Mesilla Valley Family Dentistry has been my dentist office for almost 10 years. The staff is very friendly and greet me or my wife by name every time we visit, it's almost like a family. Going to the dentist isn't always the most enjoyable experience, but at least here I know I'll be treated well no matter what procedure I need done. Cleanings are a breeze with Katie too. My only complaint is that they may care about my health TOO much, and have me come in three times a year instead of two. My insurance only covers two, so I pay for the third myself... but it's not bad. Overall I highly recommend Mesilla Valley Family Dentistry and refer local friends and family whenever they ask.

I was a little apprehensive when I received a letter from my regular dentist letting me know he was leaving and that my records had been transferred to Mesilla Valley Family Dentistry. My initial reason for going to MVFD before shopping around for another dentist was because the hygienist from my previous dentist had moved to MVFD, and she is someone I trust completely, and like on a personal level. Right from my first visit I knew I had made the right decision. Dr. Borham is wonderful - he is gentle, thorough, and takes time to explain treatment options and answer any questions. My most recent experience involved a tooth extraction and the cleaning of an abscess. I had been apprehensive about this procedure, but was pleasantly surprised by the minimal pain I suffered. Afterwards, I congratulated Dr. Borham on his magic touch for pulling teeth so painlessly. In fact, it was so smooth that I didn't even realize that it happened. When I told Dr. Borham that I kept waiting for the moment, we jokingly agreed that next time he would use a megaphone to announce that the tooth was out.

This was my first visit and from start to finish everyone in the office was super friendly and knowledgeable. There was practically no wait before I was called back. It was the most thorough initial exam and teeth cleaning I think I've ever received. The costs were very reasonable and were also thoroughly set out along with explanations regarding payment. Dr. Oushy and her staff are great!! Dr. oushy understood the need I had to help my smile and recommended Invisalign. Invisalign was a great option for me. The process to start was easy, just taking some picture and impressions. Gus made it a very easy and comfortable process. I would wear clear trays everyday and they weren’t noticeable while I was wearing them. Now that I have completed my time with Invisalign, I absolutely love my smile. I visited their office recently after being disappointed by another Dentist. The service exceeded my expectations by a mile. One item I had done was the removal of an old metal filling and of course replacing it. I expected at least a little pain after the numbness wore off but experienced no pain at all. I needed to have a crown replaced and Dr. Borham did a wonderful job. I spent less than 5 minutes in the waiting room and he started the procedure right away. He explained what he was doing beforehand so I would feel more comfortable. Afterwards, he called to make sure I was doing ok and answer any questions I might have.

For it being my first time, there was a little hiccup. For whatever reason, their phones where not working so I had to set up my appointment thru their website. I arrived at my appointment time and was greeted promptly. However, I waited there 45 minutes. I had to ask what had happened and only then was I told my appointment had not been processed correctly through their online service. I thought “oh no here we go, this is going to be a bad visit.” Thankfully, it was completely the opposite. After sorting everything out ,I was helped promptly and I sincerely felt welcomed and appreciated as a new patient. I want to thank the dentist as well as Katie, Teri, and the rest of the staff for working out the kinks of my first visit and making me feel like a valued new patient. Really glad we found this new dental home for our future needs. As with many things no place is perfect but when you see the staff really giving it their best effort to take care of you, that IS perfect! I highly recommend them and I hope to enjoy their services for a very long time.

Excellent first time experience starting at the front desk with Lisa, Yvette cleaned my teeth, took xrays and for the 1st time ever during this procedure, I did not gag. Hallelujah. I am traveling across the United States and started having problems with a tooth. I specifically drove to Truth of Consequences to see a dentist who's office staff said they did root canals. After the appointment they informed me they did not. After reading the glowing reviews, I contacted Mesilla Valley to see if they could offer assistance with my dilemma. The office staff could not have been more helpful. They were not able to preform the root canal but they returned my calls, were sympathetic to my situation and gave me an explanation why they could not treat my tooth. Very professional, I really appreciated it!
