Let me say first that I am terrified to go to the dentist, so much so that I went to a pediatric dentist until I was almost 24. I found the staff at Los Lunas Smiles to be friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Park is great. I need to have a root canal and crown for a front tooth, and he gave me the confidence to believe it will be done as quickly and painlessly as possible and the results will look great. Glad I went there and have already referred two other people..

They where SUPER quick to get me in. Every question I asked was answered. When my 2 year old had a melt down while I was getting x-rays they took him to a different spot (asked my permission first) and calmed him down. The staff was very professional and EXTREMELY nice

It would have been nice if there were not at least 3 other people at my same appointment time, as he had very little time to actually pay close enough attention to what was going on with me. He failed to diagnose a cyst and said if the root canal didn't work he would pull the tooth. He failed to see the cyst, and the impacted wisdom tooth growing into the tooth in question. There was no way he could have pulled the one tooth as it needed to have an oral surgeon pull both teeth and the cyst. Also there was no infection and yet he gave me antibiotics and on top of that did not give the current standard recommendation to also take a probiotic with the antibiotic as antibiotics kill the good germs in your gut. Beyond that, if there were an infection inside of the cyst, my previous out of state dentist said antibiotics do not work in that situation. Since seeing him I got a copy of an x-ray of the same area from two years ago and the last oral surgeon I saw confirmed it looked no different. However the 3D X-ray showed deterioration between the tooth and the bone which also required action by an oral surgeon not a general dentist. The people in the office were friendly and seemed competent except for a lack of basic medical/dental vocabulary. The office itself is mostly white in color with a few metal signs of nature, which makes it bright and cheery unlike some other local offices I have been in that were dark and depressing.

*Spoilers* this was the best dentist appointment I've ever had. so I'm super nervous about needles and the drill and anything dentist related... napa does everything that can be done to take away that fear and make you as comfortable as possible. the first thing they did was show me around the office, introduce me to everyone. then when I sat down in that chair, they handed me a menu. A MENU!!! they called it a comfort menu, with options like noise cancelling headphones, a pillow, a blanket, sunglasses, and even laughing gas! I was getting a root canal, and so I picked the headphones, sunglasses, and the laughing gas. I popped in some music, put on the shades, took a deep breath and just zoned out until they were done. It was the easiest, nicest and most comfortable dentist visit I've ever had. The work I had done was very good. temporary crown in place, and a permanent one on the way, I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment. If you are looking for a dentist, napa family dentistry is the best choice you could make.

From the setting of my appointment to the day of my oral surgery, the entire staff was very nice, supportive and understanding of my fears. Looking for a great dentist office, I strongly recommend you go to Los Lunas Smiles. Wow, I had the most amazing experience today. I had to have a tooth extracted, which I was pretty apprehensive about. Not proud to say I can compare the difference between other extractions BUT WOW! I decided I'd close my eyes as it was coming time for the tooth to come out. When I heard that's it all done, I was surprised because I didn't feel anything! Dr Yoon thank you so much! My teeth are terrible.. I have problems with my gums and tooth decay. My mom never took me into the dentist as a kid or taught me the importance of maintaining a confident and healthy smile. As I got older and began smoking and drinking coffee the increase in decay and decrease in my confidence alongside terrible insurance has kept me from going in to be seen. I recently moved to los lunas and have been looking into gaining my confidence and health back.. Reading these reviews, is say this is the only place I want to go to and bring my family with. I'm hoping my smile is repairable and that the insurance I have helps... I have an appointment sometime next month.. I'm super nervous but these reviews put my mind at ease.. After less than 5 minutes in the dentist chair, I wanted to get up and run out of Los Lunas Smiles. I knew almost instantly that it was a mistake for me to have made an appointment there. The dentist had chronic bad breath, was aggressive in his examination, was in a hurry, and recommended a $1,200 treatment without a thorough exam. Will not be going back.

There was no pain including the sedative injection nor any pain 24 hours after the extraction, not even a little. All instructions for post-op were thoroughly explained. I came in as a new patient with an emergency. I was seen very quickly. Everyone was very cordial and caring. Dr. Yoon was just wonderful. So patient and kind. I have another appointment for me and my husband on Tuesday. Thank you everyone that helped me in my time of need and pain.

They were the office staff was super helpful on the phone and the hygienist was thorough and gentle. The dentist was also direct and helpful.
