I am giving this establishment one star due to the office management not the doctor. I was told when I scheduled the appointment for my daughter that they took our military insurance. At the beginning of her appointment I asked again because you can never be too sure. They verified that the office visit would be covered by my Tricare insurance. And then guess what...a bill in the mail but first someone from the office called and asked me how to bill the insurance claim. So when the bill came in the mail, I admittedly called my insurance company to make sure that it was covered. They told me that it is was as simple as Dr. Harrison office staff faxing in a document and the bill would be completely covered. So, I thought this was handled until I received another bill. When I called the office again I was told that it wasn't done and that they changed insurance providers (after my appointment) and I was responsible for the entire bill. I asked if there was anything that could be done since I was told on several occasion from this office and my insurance company that the bill would be covered. She said that she would ask the dr. and get back with me. Well, she never got back with me so I called the office again and the Dr. said he would take $20 off the bill. While, I appreciate the discount I am not sure that this is the price for my husband fighting for our country so that doctors can practice freely. I have NEVER wrote a bad review in my life but I feel extremely taking advantage of in this circumstance.
