My wife and I moved to ABQ a year ago and needed a new dentist. A dental-hygienist acquaintance recommended Dr. Crisler. My wife saw him first and found him to be thorough and meticulous. So I tried him next. I've had a lot of dental work over the years, from many dentists, and Dr. Crisler is the best. Here's why I can say this: about 20 years ago, a talented dentist installed a "bonded bridge" --- a fake tooth glued in place with a metal bracket --- to fill a gap in my mouth. The bridge worked great for the longest time, but last year it started to fail, the glue and bracket falling apart. I dreaded replacing it, because two dentists told me that the next step was a traditional bridge, which in my case would require that my front tooth and two other teeth be ground down and crowned to support the fake tooth. Dr. Crisler took a close look at the situation, listened to my concerns, and proposed a novel solution --- a hybrid crown/bonded bridge that would leave my front two teeth intact and crown only one tooth in the back of my mouth, which had been already ruined by decay under the failing metal bracket. Over two appointments, Dr. Crisler cleaned up the mess left behind by the old bridge, fashioned a temporary crown and bridge from the fake tooth that he removed, and then worked with his lab to manufacture the replacement. He installed the new bridge a few days ago. It looks and fits great. Dr. Crisler is an experienced, careful dentist who listens to his patients and explains clearly what he does and why. The quality of his work is first rate. His staff are also trained to the same level of competence. I recommend Dr. Crisler and his staff in the strongest terms.

The move to NM eleven years ago was traumatic...I worried about finding a dentist I could trust and who would work hard at keeping my mouth healthy. I'm so glad I found John Crisler. The extensive work I've had has been as pain free and low stress as possible. The office is the best equipped I've ever been in...the latest in high tech procedures. The entire office staff is friendly and professional and the atmosphere is soothing. I go four times annually to have a cleaning and Leigh is the best best hygienist I've ever had. He took his time and i didnt feel rushed or "just another patient". We just moved to the area and could not be any happier with his professionalism and expertise. From the moment I walked in the door to check out, I was met with friendly, professional individuals who made me feel comfortable and listened to. Dr. Crisler was very patient with me and walked me through each step of the process, putting my anxieties at ease. I cannot say enough good things about this dentist who not only knows what he is doing but cares about his patients, his staff and his practice. The space itself is very warm and inviting with great views over looking Albuquerque in each chair of the office. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I appreciate you being ready to accept difficult situations. For over 3 years in southern CO, no dentist was willing to assume the responsibility to attempt to repair the 2 teeth you successfully worked on yesterday. The Trinidad dentist sent me to a CO Springs specialist who said she didn't know if she could save it because of the deep decay and if she couldn't her office didn't pull teeth.
