I’ve had A Lot of dental work done in the past, and was putting off looking for a dentist since I’ve moved here a few months ago. Push finally came to shove, and I could no longer make excuses of why I wasn’t ready to pick up that phone and make that appointment! After spending my first appointment with the team here at Gallegos Family Dental I can honestly say that I’ve been going to dentists from the Flintstone age! Dr. Gallegos was a great listener, gentle, and the kind of Dr. that you feel very comfortable with! The novicane shot that I always dread was nothing! And, in less than an hour I had a perfectly matched and great fitting new crown!! If I can call my past dentists from the Flindstone era, I’d have to call Dr. Gallegos my George Jetson!!!!! (Excuse me for the cartoon analogy, but it works!)

I did not see Dr, Gallegos, but I had to deal with one of their Dental Hygienist. All I can say is that she was not very gentle. You can say it was a "bare knuckle" ride for two hours. Kept telling me what a lousy job my other Dental Office was in cleaning my teeth. Got to the point where I had to tell them to keep their opinions to themselves. I was their for a process not to hear their opinions of the other Dental Office. Then I told them I was going back to the other office and wanted my X-rays. They said I needed to sign a "release form", which I had no problem with, but when I went to the office they told me that all the X-rays that they took came out of their pocket, which was correct. But my issue, is why did they tell me this over the phone, instead of wasting my time, and also wasting trip to their office. I really think they were acting petty. I would maybe see Dr. Gallegos, I have dealt with him before, and a nice guy..but the Dental Hygienist was very rough with the cleaning of the gums, and she kept telling me she has been doing this job for 23 yrs. If you are a good Dental Hygienist, you don't need to keep telling a person how good you are...your job speaks for yourself. So I left, and won't be going back!

Dr. Gallegos was great with both myself and children. His staff was really friendly and talked me through everything they were doing. The assistants were so nice and playful with the children and so was Dr. Gallegos. The office was really clean and neatly set up both up front and in the visit rooms. Very comfortable ambiance, all the ops had TV's to keep you entertained during your visit. They also made it go by in a timely manner. There was no excessive waiting. They also had complementary water, coffee and tea while you wait, but like i said you do not wait much at all.

If I could put zero stars I would. Worst customer service ever. Myra the office manager is rude and unprofessional. She called me a liar and is trying to say that an appointment card was altered. My appointment card that was given to me stated the 29th and she said it was written as the 28th but I wrote over it and put the 29th. Nice to get accused of wanting to miss my appointments. If I didn't want to go in I would have cancelled a long time ago or not made a follow up appointment. Now I am getting charged a cancellation fee. Will never go back to this dentist again. They just lost 4 patients.

I have had many bad experiences with the dentist in my time...from them telling me 'I dont care' after I said I was not numb, to almost passing out from the numbing. But Dr. Gallegos instilled my confidence in dentists again. When I told him my concerns, he said...'I understand' I'll tell you what...you tell me if you get uncomfortable, and I will stop...and let you get through it...no rush. (You see I get major anxiety from the slightest procedure). By far the most gentle dentist I have ever experienced. And to go with that, he will tell you all the options, go through them with you, and let you decide what you want to do...unlike most dentists who push there own vies upon you. Thank you Dr. Gallegos for a great experience. I have found my dentist for life!

I am 74, so I come from an age of dreading to go to the dentist. Have you ever smelt teeth being drilled, and the hot burnt smell, knowing that is happening in your mouth. OH YES! Over the years the fear has somewhat gone away, but never completely. So here I am needing a crown replaced. I am thinking that sucker has been in there a long time, and will probably put up a fight to come off. Then there is the drilling of the cavity underneath. OH MY, not a happy feeling to say the least! Dr. Gallegos felt my concern and ask if I would like a pill to help me relax durning during the procedure. Well, HELL YES! I may be old ,but not stupid! I walked in, and walked out, but don't remember anything. And no pain what so ever. Correct my spelling if published.

Highly recommended! The staff is kind, attentive, and fun. Clarita is so awesome! The office also has a nice vibe like the people who work there really enjoy what they do. Clean, modern, comfortable and they have tv's. It helps to be distracted by your fav tv show/channel. More importantly, the Dr. Gallegos makes sure you are comfortable, checks in with you throughout the appointment to make sure you are okay, and asks if you have any questions. What?? Is that a thing? I'm so glad I went to his office! I was feeling insecure about my dental work, he made me feel like it's okay. He didn't sugar coat anything. He won't do something or put something in your mouth he wouldn't put on his. I like that. The dental hygienist was a little rough, but it was the best cleaning I've had ever! So worth it! The best dentist I've been to since I was a kid.

I have been going to this office for 3-4 years now, my 3 year old is now a patient here. Every experience here has been nothing but exceptional. The front desk staff are great at follow up, if they say they will call you back they call back. If you cant make it, no problem they will happily get you rescheduled. Tori, is great with ensuring that our appointments are together so I don't have to make 2 trips. Roberta is the sweetest and so patient with my daughter, she took the time to show my daughter all the instruments, and gently cleaned her teeth. Dr.Gallegos is the most honest dentist, he is defiantly in it for patient care... not just the money like other offices. He is detailed, calm, willing to listen to your concerns, and is genuine in his answers. I will continue to share my experience with those I know, so they to can have an amazing experience. One last thing, the chairs have massagers...if that doesn't get you to go I don't know what will!

It's obvious that the staff at this dental facility are very well trained and intent on providing excellent service. They also offered a new patient special that was very reasonably priced and included all the diagnostics to identify the status of my dental health. The hygienist (Liz) took great pride in her work and gave me the best cleaning I have had in years. She was also very considerate in working with me to get the bite wing x-ray equipment into my mouth, which is always a struggle. Dr. Gallegos was very friendly and obviously very knowledgeable. Dr Gallegos andthe hygienist Liz are amazing. They are kind, patient and go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. The office is immaculate and calming. I'm blessed to have found such a great dentist. That being said the front office staff could use some training on what it means to make you feel welcome and providing quality customer service. My husband and I were both patients of Dr. Gallegos however my husband decided to no longer go to this office because of the treatment he received from the front desk. If you can overlook the bad and uncaring attitude of the front desk to see Dr. Gallegos then it's worth it.

Roberta is my hygienist she is amazing I’m not sure why it took me so long to go to them, will keep coming back to have my teeth cleaned by her! Dr. Gallegos is awesome, super friendly. I have been going to this office for 3-4 years now, my 3 year old is now a patient here. Every experience here has been nothing but exceptional. The front desk staff are great at follow up, if they say they will call you back they call back. If you cant make it, no problem they will happily get you rescheduled. Tori, is great with ensuring that our appointments are together so I don't have to make 2 trips. Roberta is the sweetest and so patient with my daughter, she took the time to show my daughter all the instruments, and gently cleaned her teeth. Dr.Gallegos is the most honest dentist, he is defiantly in it for patient care... not just the money like other offices. He is detailed, calm, willing to listen to your concerns, and is genuine in his answers. I will continue to share my experience with those I know, so they to can have an amazing experience. One last thing, the chairs have massagers...if that doesn't get you to go I don't know what will!

I honestly have to say that I never had my teeth cleaned from no other dentistry than Gallegos Family Dentistry. I called there office and that same day I was seen. I filled out there forms and asked lots of questions. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly explained everything. The true person who stood out had to be Roberta, she cleaned my teeth like no other and I had braces on. Roberta educated me on the proper technique on how to brush and clean my teeth. I was so impressed by how Roberta was so knowledgeable and loved what she was doing, I was kinda embarrassed on how my teeth were. Roberta reassured me that it was okay and now we no how to clean them right. I finally found a dentistry that cares for there customer's instead of how many people they see by numbers, customer for life.

He has a number of years of experience but also graduated from a good dental school in the past ten years, so he is familiar with the major improvements that have occurred in dentistry, as in medicine, in recent years. He is reassuringly calm, friendly, and knowledgable; yet unpretentious. I also want to mention that the receptionist and staff were friendly and efficient. It was a very comfortable experience in all respects. I highly recommend Dr. Gallegos. I am writing this review because he has recently opened his individual practice and I want him to succeed. I have been looking for a dentist I can stay with the rest of my life. It is hard to find a good dentist with good hygienists !!!

The dental assistant, Jenna, is a perfectionist who made sure my temporary crowns were going to look their best. Made appointment in June for mid July and the day before they canceled my appointment without asking me to see if I was still on to work on my tooth. Worst dentist I have ever been to. He refused to call back and see what the concern was to see if he could help but he left it up to his office manager who was new and came from another office in town. I would not reccomend this office if you are in Tooth pain because Dr.Gallegos will just let you down just like I was.
