I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. King and her staff. I've never had a more thorough exam/cleaning as a new patient! I have regular check-ups, and I've always thought they had the most advanced technology available. There is so much technology in this office, it was intimidating! Dr. King walked me through every x-ray and exam step, so there was no anxiety whatsoever. I was not strongarmed into upgrades, and I walked out under $100.

Unfortunately, you'll "need" more dental work than you can imagine. June 2014, Dr. David King diagnosed a need for me to get 3 (maybe 4) crowns - see dental record pics. Red on tooth chart indicates "need" for crowns for $3,135.00. Many dental checkups with outside experts...and 3 years later....NOT ONE SINGLE confirmation of Dr. King's recommendation! How curious. No need *at all* for any crowns. Better yet: no crowns at all. Patients beware of any treatment recommendations ---- or simply say an unnecessary GOODBYE to your healthy, natural teeth.

ZERO STARS! My son had dental and ortho treatment here that started in 2014. I am still dealing with the nightmare almost 3 YEARS LATER. The short of the very long story is, there has been permanent damage done to his adult teeth. The ortho work needs to be re-done. I paid $3,402.60 out of pocket in addition to what insurance covered. The dental work needs to be re-done, the cost for that is $3,081.64. Cottonwood has offered to re-do that at no cost to me, but why would I have them redo the work that was not done properly the first time. They have now refused to offer me any type of refund. I will be paying out of pocket $7,626.52 to have the same dental and ortho work done. My son will have to spend another 15 months in braces. I have filed for a peer review but the Cottonwood office in not part of the NM Dental Association so they were not able to help me. I have EOBs from my insurance company showing where they billed my insurance for ortho adjustments after my son’s braces were removed, I’m pretty sure that is fraud. Has anyone else had a similar situation? If so please speak up, this is not okay. If we are not able to agree upon a solution, a refund, I suppose my next step will be to contact my insurance companies and the ADA and AAO to file a formal complaints.

Watch out! Seems like if you have good insurance than you'll mysteriously need a root canal.

Thank you so much Doctor Marisol King for repairing a crown that was done at another office that used poor quality material and would not stand behind their work. I will always recommend you and your office.

Dr King and her team is absolutely amazing. She genuinely cares about her patients. The whole office is happy and seems like a wonderful place to work. These people engage with you and attempt to truly connect with you as a person not just as a patient. I absolutely LOVE the care I receive here. The exam is through and the clean and care is top notch. They appreciate that you have something to offer them, whether that be knowledge, experience, or a life story. They leave you feeling empowered to care for yourself.

Everyone here is so friendly, thorough and honest. I was told I needed a crown by another dentist only to hear that I just needed a new filling by Dr. King. The staff is so wonderful and Dr. King is so warm and friendly, my kids really like her. She takes time with each of her patients for education and prevention. Desiree is my hygienist and did a phenomenal job. Highly recommend!
