What surprised me most was how patient they were. We've gone to other pediatric dentists before where the staff was visibly frustrated when the kids had a hard time getting their mouths to cooperate, so it was a pleasant surprise when we had quite the opposite experience here. My husband just returned from our 10 year old son’s appt with Dr. Peck. In the past our son wasn’t able to have dental work without sedation. Dr. Peck was caring, patient and understanding. Our son both allowed the Dr. to put sealants on his teeth and to fill a deep cavity with laughing gas only. This was a huge success for our son and for our family. The next option and recommendation by our last dentist was IV sedation. We were thrilled with the treatment we received from Dr. Peck. In addition Destiny our dental Tech kept our son comfortable and watching his nervous hands. We are so grateful for the whole team at Cabezon Pediatric Dentistry!

We took our 2 day old son in to have bad lip tie and mild posterior tongue tie cut. Dr. Peck was very informative, had good equipment, a ready assistant, and was very careful with our baby. From nursing I could tell that the issues were resolved immediately. Dr. Peck and his staff gave excellent after-procedure instructions and tools to help ensure the ties did not grow back during healing. Top notch, I would highly recommend.

This place makes going to the dentists fun normally the dentist hurts but here the dentists are so professional that there is no pain. Also the dentist is no longer boring here there are mini televisions that play multiple movies mainly consisting of kids movies. Five stars

Knowledgeable and carrying staff and dentists. They all work so well with children! My youngest gags every time they do any work and they are always so patient with him. My oldest just had to have nitrous oxide for the first time and they patiently answered all my questions and alleviated my anxieties. My oldest also says the water is tastes amazing and she wants to drink, for whatever that’s worth! They have many chairs and my children can be seen at the same time.

I liked that I got to pick a movie to watch while Dr. Peck and his helpers worked on my teeth. Dr. Peck, you are a very nice and good dentist! Dr. Peck is wonderful with children, taking an interest in them, explaining what he's doing in an appropriate and understandable way to them, and calmly providing treatment. His staff have all been friendly and professional as well. During our last appointment, we observed Dr. Peck and his staff working with a very difficult patient situation. Both Dr. Peck and all his staff handled the difficult and frustrating situation in a professional, calm, kind, respectful way. I was highly impressed. As I have experience working in both a medical-outpatient-clinic setting and an inpatient setting, I understand very well that for staff to handle these types of difficult situations with professionalism and in a calm, respectful, caring way is difficult and a testament of the quality and character of these people. They all did an excellent job handling the situation. EVERYONE here is amazing. My son was not a fan of going to the dentist and they have been able to make him comfortable going now. They are so patient with him and understand that they have to spend some time to make him comfortable. Our previous dentist would just say that my son wouldn’t let them do anything so there was nothing they could do. On his first visit to Cabezon pediatric dentist they were able to take X-rays, which he had never been able to do, and do a full exam. I wish we had been coming here all along. I think if my son had come here from the beginning he would have always liked the dentist, like he does now!

The Dr was kind and fast for my child’s procedure. Our insurance was going to pay part of the procedure and we were told we were going to come out of pocket a little over $500 dollars. We obviously weren’t happy about it but our child needed this procedure done so we paid the $500. The day of the procedure everything went by well and fast. We saw the Dr once before the procedure and again after. It took about an hour. He briefly explained what was done and how our child did for it and that was that. Come to find out he did work on two more teeth than what was originally planned. Now, I understand their job is to take care of their teeth but here is my problem and the reason why I rated two stars.. he didn’t notify us BEFORE he did the work. It ended up costing us an additional $500! When I called their office to complain “The doctor is very sorry. That is not normal procedure. He was supposed to notify you about it before he did the work. However, that money is still owed in full.” What?! I have never been to a place where service was done without my consent and I ended up paying the full price for the company’s mistake. Not saying this work wasn’t going to be done but we didn’t have an additional $500 to pay on the spot. This put us in a bind which nobody likes to be in. They agreed to let us make a payment plan which helped but it doesn’t mean I’m not angry for having to pay $1000 for a procedure, half of that being work on TWO teeth when the other half was for more than just two teeth. Much more, I’m not okay with any company taking advantage of a family by racking up a bill that they may or may not know could be afforded. I am lucky to say that we were able to take care of it and thankfully we are all paid in full but not all families who need these type of services are able to pay for something they didn’t know/ask to be done even with a payment plan they offer. Very unprofessional to “forget” to let someone know their bill is going to twice the amount they thought originally because of added services. If you do need this company’s services PLEASE make sure they are completely clear with you on the charges for their procedures and make sure that before they do the procedure you tell them that they need to check with you before they do any additional procedure that may be needed and to be clear how much more that charge will be.

I was a little hesitant about taking my 5 year old son to the dentist to get some work done, because we recently had a terrible, very traumatic experience. I immediately felt at ease as soon as we walked through the door. The atmosphere is very kid friendly and the staff makes you feel at home. Stephanie and Bailey were the dental assistants and they were wonderful with my son. Dr. Peck was professional, patient and very kind. He explained what he was going to do before he did it. He was able to do a lot of work with laughing gas. My son was comfortable during the entire procedure. He received the proper pain relief, which was a concern to me due to our prior experience. The staff really listened to me and completely understood my concerns. I can’t say enough how much better this was, both for me and my son! I left smiling here, where as where I took him before I left in tears! I am thrilled we chose to come here!!!

The Dr was kind and fast for my child’s procedure. Our insurance was going to pay part of the procedure and we were told we were going to come out of pocket a little over $500 dollars. We obviously weren’t happy about it but our child needed this procedure done so we paid the $500. The day of the procedure everything went by well and fast. We saw the Dr once before the procedure and again after. It took about an hour. He briefly explained what was done and how our child did for it and that was that. Come to find out he did work on two more teeth than what was originally planned. Now, I understand their job is to take care of their teeth but here is my problem and the reason why I rated two stars.. he didn’t notify us BEFORE he did the work. It ended up costing us an additional $500! When I called their office to complain “The doctor is very sorry. That is not normal procedure. He was supposed to notify you about it before he did the work. However, that money is still owed in full.” What?! I have never been to a place where service was done without my consent and I ended up paying the full price for the company’s mistake. Not saying this work wasn’t going to be done but we didn’t have an additional $500 to pay on the spot. This put us in a bind which nobody likes to be in. They agreed to let us make a payment plan which helped but it doesn’t mean I’m not angry for having to pay $1000 for a procedure, half of that being work on TWO teeth when the other half was for more than just two teeth. Much more, I’m not okay with any company taking advantage of a family by racking up a bill that they may or may not know could be afforded.
