Went there for the CAD/CAM CEREC crowns. I was assured they were warrantied for 5 years. They do not stand by that warranty. My crown lasted less than 1 year. I have since moved away from the area, and they will not offer any refund and have literally ghosted me by email.

Treated well and taken care of in one afternoon. Explanation of what was wrong and what would be done to correct issues was understandable.

Kind, caring, and professional! Doctor Herrejon-Ruiz and his staff helped complete what had been a rough road with my experience at other dentist's offices over the past year. Dr. H was so nice, and took the time to listen. His staff helped me find out what my insurance would cover, explained my options, and let me know what to expect as far as costs. I left feeling so grateful I had found this place.

Michelle Powers

I came in for an emergency treatment and received top of the line care. The Dentist and his staff worked quickly to get my x-rays done and reviewed. A treatment plan was devised and the tooth extracted painlessly. Being on vacation and right before a holiday I was impressed by everyone. I would use them again if I lived in Albuquerque. The office was clean, modern equipped, and they worked quickly with my out of state insurance.

I've been a patient here for six years now. I'd like to thank DMD Linda Tran for replacing my crown at no charge. I feel much better today and my tooth looks great, feel great too. Love the environment; neat, clean, and organized. And everyone has lovely smiles. No business is perfect but I have no complaints. Thank you

DO NOT GO TO ANY MODERN DENTISTY LOCATIONS. IT IS A SCAM. I have been charged well over $2000 dollars to my health and dental insurance, and paid almost $400 in cash, TO HAVE A CLANING AND 4 CAVITIES FILLED (the cleaning and x-rays are free with my insurance) . This was after I was told I needed to have 7 CAVITES FILLED. I have had cleanings and examinations twice a year at different dentist offices for my entire life, and have never had a cavity. I refused to believe that I had seven cavities, but the dentist was PUSHY AND INSISTANT that I had at least four filled. Bills continue to pour in with miscellaneous charges, and nobody can tell me what the charges are for. I was completely taken advantage of, I could barley get two words in before the dentist was sticking a needle in my mouth. I strongly believe I was taken advantage of due to the fact that I am a young woman. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

We were from Outa state and husband had a bad toothache he had been dealing with for a week his home town dentist couldn't see him for another two weeks. We had to attend a funeral in Albuquerque, and husband couldn't take the pain any longer so we ended up here. They were very professional and probably the most patient dentist we have ever came across. Thank you guys!

Dr H is amazing, completely honest; tells you when you do not need a crown and when you do. Gentle, amiable manner, no rushing. But the amazing offering here is the Crowns in One Hour! The crown is milled on sight by robotic arms you can watch in the hallway. It always fits absolutely perfectly, having been designed with care on the computer. by the dentist. No more molds or temporaries or horrible string pressing into the gums. Apparently the spray they use (you never feel it) is photosensitive and creates a full computer model of your mouth. On several occasions over the years I have come in with a problem and walked out about 2 hours later completely done! My husband has received similar treatment and is equally grateful for this new technology and caring dentist. Dr H even complimented the implants he had done outside the country. I have recommended my friend and she is also delighted with the new technology and with Dr. H's manner. The price of the crown currently is $1000 plus some 250 for the build-up when applicable. I believe this is very competitive. In addition, the office is sensitive to those in pain, and they always seem to have an appointment for you.

The dentists and their work was good. Everything else has been a nightmare trying to get the facility to send my husband's insurance company his medical records.

I had been dreading going to the dentist knowing I needed a lot of work done. I was embarrassed by what I had (not) done for my oral care. Everyone from reception to dental hygienist and assistants to the dentist himself were all incredible. I'm so happy I chose them to get my work completed and I happily recommend them to everyone I know.

M Martinez

I usually hate having to go to the dentist. But the entire staff from the moment I walked in all the way through the services rendered extremely professional friendly and with a smile. I look forward to getting more dental work done with you all. They were able to get me in the same day that I called. I would definitely recommend this office to anybody.

Always treated like your with your friends, very friendly staff. My only complaint is the miscommunication with billing, i have been quoted one price and billed another. I do inquire about it and it gets corrected. Overall i am a satisfied client.

I have been going here for almost 4 years. While I like my dentist, I will admit that the service is mediocre. Wait months for appointments and half the time, you don’t even see a dentist at routine appointments because they’re constantly over booked. But hey, I didn’t feel it was that big of a deal and the hygienists were friendly and thorough. When I decided to get braces 4 months ago, it sounded easier to stay in-house and the orthodontist told me everything I needed to hear; 18 months of traditional braces with appointments every 4-6 weeks. I was concerned about the long wait between appointments but was assured that once my braces were on, it would be easy to get appointments for adjustments (as an adult with braces, my goal was every 4 weeks to keep treatment at or under the 18 months). My initial appointment was the last of the day, so they only had time to put on the top braces. Although, they indicated that they just wanted me to get used to the tops before putting the bottoms on (makes no sense to me, being that I had to now go through the pain of adjusting to having braces twice, and my bottoms were far more crooked then my tops). Neither here nor there… just the beginning of the excuses. When I got home, I realized that I was missing the last bracket on my upper left side. I knew that it had been a mistake since I felt the cement on my tooth. I called right away and was told it was part of my treatment plan to leave the bracket off. The next appointment was scheduled at six weeks, but I called and moved it up to four weeks (luckily they had a cancellation). During that appointment, I was told that I did in fact need a bracket on that tooth, and I was questioned as to why I didn’t alert them sooner. That was annoying. They replaced the bracket and put on my bottom braces. Two days later that same bracket fell off. I was told that they would not be able to replace the bracket until my next six week appointment, and really, it was no big deal. No big deal? Every other ortho I’d spoken to stressed that if a band broke or a bracket came lose, I would need to be seen right away or my treatment would be prolonged. If it was no big deal, then why was I questioned at my appointment? Why did they tell me it was needed (well it IS the only crooked tooth up there)? In addition, I had this long SHARP wire now cutting into my inner cheek and gums every time I opened my mouth. On my way home, I stopped in (even though I was told they couldn’t see me) and a hygienist was nice enough to cut the wire after I insisted that it was too painful to wait another minute. Although, I was told that technically she shouldn’t and if it happens again I should just use nail clippers to snip it myself. OK THIS IS GETTING REALLY ANNOYING NOW. Third (and FINAL) appointment: Again, it was the last one of the day. I had to wait a while and again could sense that my time was limited. What do you know… Dr. Holiday decides that we just aren’t going to replace that missing bracket right now. Ok I give up. And when she tries to adjust my bottom braces, she is unable to get the wire into the back bracket. I told her it felt off when she had issues getting the bands on the front teeth but she didn’t listen. She said my teeth were too crooked so we had to leave one band off. This threw me for a loop… my teeth were straighter then the last appointment and the wire fit just fine then. But what do I know? It was the last band, but since the wire was so long (not properly placed inside of the bracket), the wire in front of my bottom front tooth protruded outward (now cutting into my bottom lip every night). To put the icing on the cake (and what set me over the edge), my next adjustment was 9 WEEKS AWAY!! Her assistant admitted that she had a lot of patients and some vacation time scheduled, but when I complained to the front desk I got “oh, it’s no big deal. It won’t prolong treatment.” Needless to say, these people could care less about your treatment time or discomfort. You’re just a number and a dollar sign.

The Doctors are fantastic but they constantly rotate between locations or leave the business. I have a new doctor everytime I visit... The front desk staff is absolutely horrible. They do not answer the phones, they fail to follow-up on preauthoriziations for insurance, and they are very disorganized! I would have given this place one star but the Doctors are great here. It is just a shame their front desk staff is so useless.

I have been going here for over a year. Trying to get my third cleaning appointment only to have them cancel it a second time days before it was going to occur. Then they tell you they can take you in a few months again. Time to shop around where they can plan "professionally" and not treat their patients time with such disrespect and contempt.

Over the last 2+ years I've been going to ABQMD. I wish I could show you my before and after pics. My first visit was ugly and painful and gross, or my mouth was, that is. Dr. H and Liana as well as the staff made me feel hopeful and at ease. Dr. H set up a long-term health plan and Liana (dental hygienist) and the staff helped keep me on track. They did a lot of work to coordinate my insurance coverage (get dental insurance, it's super cheap) and my care planned out. I've had a few visits and several procedures that have resulted in not only a healthy mouth, but (insert vanity here) a pretty smile. We've gone from critical to necessary to cosmetic in a relatively short period of time, and I feel fantastic. Don't get me wrong, sitting in that chair and clenching all of your muscles is a thing, but they make you feel comfortable and confident about your care. I had my front teeth fixed last week out of necessity and also cosmetically, and I smile bigger every day since.

TLDR: Never go here for anything other than a simple cleaning. They will rip you off and leave you in pain. Do your research. Understand your insurance. I will start with the good: they were all very professional and able to get me in quickly. Also the Benefits Coordinators are very fast and helpful when you ask questions. When I ended up needing a lot more than I came in for they also worked around their system to make sure I didnt pay AS much and that was kind of them. Now on to the bad: I went in because I was having some tooth pain and thought it was a cavity. I have never had tooth problems in my life. I go in and they start by saying we should get the cleaning done on my teeth and a special scaling. Then they go through all my teeth and tell me that I actually need three fillings, including the one that hurts. I nod and say, "Let's get it all done." The benefits coordinator comes in and tells me about how much will be covered and how much it will be, at the end of the day about $200 with my insurance for the scaling, cleaning, flouride, and 3 fillings. Not bad so I accept. They go in for the scaling and oh my god, does it hurt to get numbed up by those injections. They did not tell me till they numbed me up that I couldnt eat until after it all wore off (about 4 hours) and that my mouth would be painfully sore. Also the blasts they give you for cleaning feels like you are being waterboarded. It was miserable, but at least my teeth were clean. Then I wait for about 20 minutes for the dentist to come back in to do the fillings. Long story short, I needed a root canal on the cavity, but they thought since I was so numbed up and none the wiser that they would do the two fillings and drill, and I mean drill, into my tooth to open it up for a root canal to be performed. 4.5 hours later, my teeth are sore, face is numb, hole in my back moler, then I am escorting out for the bill and to take a look at scheduling for the root canal and pricing for that. They saved me $100 dollars on that procedure since i didnt end up getting a third filling, didnt do the flouride treatment, they took off the scaling. THEN I got the bill for the root canal...summed up, they had used all my insurance on the other treatments and so i got left with the $1300 dollar bill for the root canal. "Oh well we have payment options" SCREW YOU. If I had known, if someone had taken the time to stop and talk to me, I would have saved the other fillings that could have waited and even the cleaning so that my root canal bill would have only been half that. I found out too that they didnt talk to me about my crown options, I had to google it, so I was able to take my expense from $1300 to $950. Also with the hole in my tooth, I am in FAR more pain than ever before with that slight cavity. When I called the dentists about it, he basically admitted to forcing my hand on the root canal so that it "wouldnt get any worse." I cant eat anything crunchy, I cant drink anything hot or cold, I wake up in pain, and am constantly taking ibuprofen/tylenol at dangerous amounts, but yeah, Im getting the root canal, thanks. How dare you all put me through 4.5 hours of painful treatments, a week of intense/debilitating pain, force me to pay the brunt of my next treatments due to your negligence, and make me feel stupid for ever trusting that you all had my best interests in mind. NEVER GO HERE!

The whole family out in an hour. Staff always friendly with the kids, and age appropriate materials on the TV makes this great for those with kids. No issues with our teeth after having gone here for 5 years.

This place is a joke! First off their hygienist are super rough and will hurt you doing just a basic cleaning. After paying thousands of dollars with their orthodontist my teeth still aren't straight and now they are refusing to fix it.
