After having to switch dentists, I see this as a blessing in disguise! With all negative things at the other dentist, ABQorthro is a winner in my book! The office is inviting, they have plenty of seats, so you don't have to stand waiting to be seen. I've never waited more than 5 minutes. Also, I don't leave with unnecessary pain or blood from someone not knowing or not paying attention. It is a very pleasant experience! I wish I had transferred sooner. Everyone is a pleasure to work with. I tell everyone to transfer here if they can. And! They remember everyone's name! This is the place to be.

It’s a great place to get your braces! The people there are really gentle and kind. I remember being so scared to put on my braces but the people there calmed me down and told me that I was going to be okay. They even warn you when somthing might hurt. 10/10 would recommend

The dental assistants and Dr Lionheart are amazing! The reason for the 3 star rating is because of their appointment scheduling. At times we are waiting almost up to 40 minutes after the original time. Being a Mom of two and having other errands and appointments to get to, this is rather frustrating and inconvenient.

I love abq Orthadontist, they’re always so nice and really are there for the processs and journey of your teeth !! My teeth have come a very long way and still have work but everything is a process they’ve encouraged me to keep wearing my bands flossing etc ! This is my second time with braces, the first time I had went to another orthodontist located in Albuquerque, the experience there was horrible, teeth were still visibly crooked, I was so embarrassed of my teeth still. My mom brought my sister to the Wyoming location and they both loved the experience here !! So I decided when I started working I’d come here , well when I did start working after I graduated high school I came to the Los Volcanes location because it was so close to my house, I was still on my parents insurance , both my mom and dads insurance covered everything! I pay $0, and even if I had to pay my rates were so affordable. Needless to say the staff is amazing, both front and back office, it’s more than an office, it’s a family, you begin to know everyone there and they begin to know you, you walk in and they know who you are, it makes you feel very comfortable. They explain everything to you so you’re not left in the dark. This is my last two months with braces and I’m going to miss just being around everyone. You get especially close to the assistants because they are with you every step of the way. Especially now that I am pregnant they are making sure everything is okay every step of the way during the treatment. It’s so comforting knowing they care. It’s the best place of business. I would highly recommend coming here for an amazing experience. This is the best orthodontic office in town.

While visiting family in Albuquerque from out of state in August 2019, my teenage daughter's metal brace bracket in her mouth broke and was sticking her in the cheek. Fortunately I came up with the idea to take her to a local Orthodontist. I googled Orthodonic Offices locally and Called ABQ Orthodontics on Los Volcanes Rd NE. They said to bring her in as soon as possible. The Staff was friendly, office was nice and one of the Doctors removed the bracket in about 15-20 minutes. We were so grateful and they didn't charge us anything. Thanks so much-you guys are the best!

I hate this office and my son has only been coming here for about 8 months I cannot wait for the day his braces get taken off and my other children will NOT come here. At the beginning they were very friendly and helpful once my insurance paid and the braces were on we got forgotten almost every time we have an appointment we get called a few days before to reschedule we almost always sit in the waiting room for 30-45 minutes before being taken back and others get taken right in once we waited almost 2 hours when I complained I was told there was an emergency apparently everyone else's appointments stayed the same since at least 5 people were taken back while we waited. Then the nurses like to write things in the report that they don't tell me and I end up having to contact the head nurse to complain more than once and all I'm told is oh there is a communication issue well uuummm yeah you think. People should be treated differently just because of their insurance or because they already got paid.
