We are new the area and this office was recommended to us, we are so glad that we gave it a shot. The staff there are so nice, I love my dental hygienist Colleen. She was so friendly and gently, definitely made the visit nice and relaxing. I will be taking my two year old there next month for her first visit because I heard the Pediatric staff were excellent. Definitely would recommend this place if you are looking for a new dentist or are new to the area.

However, I have had only one Dentist...Dr Jay Simon..the best. I moved out of the area 10 years ago, but still return to Dr Simon year after year. Showed up for my dental cleaning today. Was told by the dentist i couldn't have a cleaning unless i had an X-Ray of my teeth!! Was being blackmailed. I took my belongings and walked out. So many other dental offices. The HELL with them !!

I see my dental hygienist, Patty, every three months. She knows how much I dread dental work so she shows empathy in every way possible. She's extra careful with my sensitive gums, she laughs and tells great stories as she works, and she frequently asks me if I'm doing okay or need a break. The front office staff is great, too. I couldn't ask for better service. Thanks for a job well done every time!

If I could Leave a minus I would. I do not leave reviews but this place is horrid. They will not release my xrays to another dentist because it would take to long to digital send them. So I have to pay out of pocket because of there laziness. BEWARE!!!! Go elsewhere people.

I hate leaving this review. We found WTD through it's great reviews and brought our kids here even when our dental insurance wasnt accepted because of how amazing Dr. Annie is (who is no longer there). We even switched our dental plan for all 4 of us to be seen at the practice. My husband had a toothache and was told he needed to have the cavity filled. Once the work was done, the pain continued for weeks so he returned to the office and was told he needed a root canal and crown. I had the same procedure done recently and was told I would exceed my coverage so I needed to wait for the new year, which I did. My husband however was told he would have 2 payments of ~$100 each. He had the procedure done and we later received a bill for $969, and we were told we exceeded our coverage. When my husband called, the employee in billing was rude and interrupted him throughout the call as he tried to explain why we couldn't afford a bill like this that we weren't prepared for. I just received a printout in the mail explaining why we had to pay; I really wish they would have been this detailed when they originally quoted him at ~$200. We're leaving the practice since we've had a multitude of unrelated health emergencies in the past 6 months and are currently looking at thousands of dollars in bills, and we can't afford another $1,000 mistake on their billing office's part. I'm really sad to leave our children's doctors.

I am a new patient at Washington Twp Dental. I have decent experiences with past dentists. My experience with Washington Twp Dental has been exceptional. Starting with the receptionist, I was greeted with kindness and humor. I felt immediately comfortable, and I enjoyed the Disney playlist Latasia had in her office. I then met Dr. Hodapp who was kind, funny, and comforting. I returned recently to have a cavity filled. It was, by far, the easiest dental procedure I have ever had. I've experienced pain and total numbness in my face when I had cavities filled in the past. The numbness subsided after about one hour, and I had no pain before, during, or after the filling. Dr. Hodapp and Latasia checked in with me throughout to make sure I was comfortable, and they put me at ease. I am so happy I chose Washington Twp Dental as my new dentist. I highly recommend them (and especially Latasia and Dr. Hodapp) to anyone looking for a new dentist in South Jersey.

I called with an emergency yesterday as soon as the office opened at 7:30 am and was able to get an appointment by 8 am. Turns out I needed a root canal and luckily the endodontist was scheduled to be in the office that day and he had an opening and I was able to get my root canal done by 9 am. I was at work by 11. Talk about one-stop shopping!!

I've been coming here for 14 years. My review would normally be good, but this time the staff should have called me when they realized the person with whom I was scheduled for a cleaning would not be available. My appt. was booked 6 mos. in advance. I arrived on time and someone else said she would be cleaning my teeth, as my scheduled person wanted the day off. I think it would be common courtesy of the staff to call and inform the patient to see if they want to reschedule or accept someone new don't you?

I am a new patient at Washington Township Dental, and had my first appointment with Dr. Angelova. Conveniently, I was able to schedule an early morning appointment to avoid conflict with my work schedule. The warm and friendly staff greeted me as soon as I walked in, and I enjoyed minimal wait time in the reception area. Noelle was the welcoming dental assistant who made me feel at home immediately. My experience with Dr. Angelova was equally as enjoyable. She provided the most thorough and effective cleaning I have had to date! Her expertise and knowledge was apparent, yet she provided understandable feedback. I will certainly recommend Washington Township Dental to family and friends!

My wife and I have had nothing but very positive experiences over the period of years we have been treated by WTDA. Recently my wife had need for an extraction. When she contacted the office in pain they fit her in for an appointment with Dr. Balis the next day and she arranged an appointment with a very highly regarded specialist for the extraction the very next day. The whole process went well with no complications through the recovery period. Then my latest appointment was to repair a chipped tooth. I am very pleased with the care Dr Angelova and Amy provided. They were so friendly and proficient I actually enjoyed the visit. Did I just say I enjoyed the visit to the dentist? Yep!

I am one of those people that needs to be sedated for everything at the dentist. I am petrified. Not any more! I have had gum surgery and root canal done at this office and felt no pain at all. No after effects either. Everything is explained step by step. The staff is very friendly and comforting. I am extremely happy here and honestly no longer have a fear of the dentist.

I went to washington township dental for a dental exam. I was told i had 6 cavities and was given a treatment plan . I currently don't have dental insurance, and was prepared to pay out of pocket about 3,000 for dental work. I went to a different dentist located in Deptford NJ. I was told by 3 different dentist that i only had 1 cavity, not 6. This was completely disturbing especially since i was beyond stressed with the whole idea that i needed all the so called dental work done. I cant believe i was played by a Doctor someone whom i am supposed to trust. He was willing to take my money and do work that wasnt needed. I dont recommend anyone use this practice ever. If you have been told that you need work done in your mouth you need to get a second or third opinion, because this company is fraudulent!!!

The ladies at the desk are very friendly and efficient. Dr. Annie sees my children and they are very comfortable with her. The environment is kid-friendly and carefree. It is impossible to get an appointment unless it is 6 months out. They call the day of or the day before to cancel or change your appointment but demand you pay $25 if they don't get your message that you weren't coming in. I wait in the waiting room for at least 20mins past my appt time but don't charge them and they call relentlessly if you are 5 minutes late for an appointment... good luck

Donna my hygienist is wonderful. So is Dr. Angelova. The redundant paperwork used to update my file is ridiculous. I should be able to say "no changes" rather than complete all the same information each year. I have considered changing offices because of it. Please buy some software and spare us the pain.

First time here and what an experience!! I took all 3 of my children and they were all taken right on time as soon as we walked in. I'm not used to that. Most dentists would see the children back to back which took way more time but all 3 were worked on separately for their cleanings. The staff was super friendly and very warm and inviting. The office is well run and very up to date. I left my last dentists office because it was so antiquated. This office came as a recommendation and I am very pleased. I didn't realize this little gem was right down the street! thank you to everyone, we have officially made this our family dentist!!

Very pleasant experiences at this practice! Rose the hygienst is always on time and the wait is never longer than a few minutes. Along with being very sweet, the hygienst was very informative and answered any questions I had about taking care of my teeth at home. Dr. Creato checked my teeth afterwards and as always, was very kind and knowledgable. The office staff was exceptionally accomodating with trying to fit me in with such short notice and they are very welcoming overall. This office is great at what they do and put my dental anxiety at ease!
