My dad went to this dental for his dentures. They Cheked him and submit insurance for approval which he got appvoal they also took 3 visit after that come back and said pay 2500 to 3500 for ur dentures. I don't recommend to go to this office for your dental need.

The office is nice. Front desk staff is nice. Hygienists are very nice. My reason for giving 2 stars is because some really important things went awry with the appointment and with the doctor. I am very particular about researching the medical providers that take care of my family. I did my research and I chose to see Dr. Alhussein for my children. I wanted a Saturday. She's not available on Saturdays. So I took the time off specifically to see her on a Thursday morning that the appointment center told me she had available and that we'd be the 1st appointments of the day. We walked in early for the 1st appointment of the day. Filled out paperwork and a couple who came in after us were called in before us. In total we waited about a half hour to be seen. Hygienists did great. The exam room was a bit messy which is off putting in a dentist's office. But the biggest problem was that MY 5YR OLD SON WAS EXAMINED WITHOUT ME PRESENT! I was in the next room with my 1yr old daughter and told the dr would examine them both at the same time. After no one came for us after my daughter's cleaning, I walk into the next room to see my son's exam by Dr. Patel and the assistant just wrapping up. The ASSISTANT is who told me my son had no cavities and all was well. The doctor walks right past me in the exam room without saying a word or even acknowledging my presence at all. I asked the assistant "Is that the doctor?" She calls him back into the room (Which is when I heard his name for the first time) to remind him he has to examine the 1yr old also. He still doesn't introduce himself or say anything to me. Examines my daughter attempting to use the same equipment that he used on my son and the assistant had to tell him twice that the tool was used then she got him a new one. He examines her says she's fine and then he left. I ask the front desk "Where is Dr. Alhussein?" The doctor I made an appt with after a painstaking search. They tell me she DOESN'T WORK THURSDAYS AND THAT THE APPOINTMENT WAS NEVER WITH HER. She said you have to call the office directly to make appointments because the the center that makes appointments for them and their affiliate offices doesn't have the correct schedule. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of zero is because the front desk, the hygienists and assistants were GREAT, they really were, especially since my daughter cried and wailing the ENTIRE visit and they were SO patient with her and with us. But the rest of this mess that occurred......UN.AC.CEPTABLE. Sincerely, A Very Pissed Off Mom.

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience at Piscataway Family Dental was pretty awful. I had a cleaning with Dr. Kaur, and she was rough, unfriendly, and hasty with my cleaning. I understand that there were other patients she had to attend to, but I didn't feel comfortable knowing that I would have to wait X amount of min./hours for her to get to me. She also made it a point to belittle me about my teeth and scold me for making painful expressions with my face when she was putting pressure on my mouth. The hygienist who assisted her was also inattentive during my cleaning that at times, she turned away from me and almost caused me to choke on water because she was not using the "spit sucker" instrument while Dr. Kaur was working on my teeth. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the cleaning felt more like interrogation and water torture than a dentist visit. Moreover, the receptionist had a nasty attitude and was impatient with me when I asked questions about my referral and the payment. I only went to Piscataway Family Dental because my dental discount program is accepted here, but I'm seriously considering going somewhere else, even if they don't accept the discount program, because I had such a terrible experience. There was one nice Brazilian hygienist there, but she was also in a rush to get to other patients. I'm sure they're nice people, but if you want a pleasant and professional dental appointment, avoid Piscataway Family Dental if you can.

The worst dentist place..dont waste your time coming here. The staff at the front is very rude. Very unproffesional and inconsiderate of patient’s time. They let the hygenist go home an hr. Before my appt. time because they thought i had no insurance. So nvm if i wanted to pay in cash, i actually had insurance the girl who made my appt. didnt update my info. The wait is always ridiculously long. They sent out a message and call the day before to confirm and when i called to confirm no one mentioned anything about my insurance. They have also booked 2 previous appts. with the wrong dentist.

I was told by my insurance that my authorization request from this office was denied due to lacking information from their dentist specifyin that treatment is medically necessary. I specifically told that skeptical dentist (who says that he doesn't find anythin on the image) that I am havin pain and that I saw a specialist who (by the way I had to see one because I was told by the other dentist in this PFD that a previous root canal needs a RETREAT which their office doesn't do, but the specialist that saw me said she didn't find anything to be retreated but instead found out the neighbor tooth to be the culprit) by using couple of tools on my teeth, concluded that this other tooth needs a TREATMENT. So I had to go back to PFD and after seeing this other dentist said he's gonna have the office try to get an authorization. Then what's the point of sending the dumb request for authorization along with the image, if he's not gonna back it up? Did he really think just by sending the image, which he himself says there's nothing wrong that he can see, that the insurance is gonna approve the treatment? Please fix this office nonsense.

Went to this Dentist for tooth pain. They did some X-Rays and identified the cause. Gave me an appt for the filling. Gave me another appt for Cleaning and Exam as well. Got the Cleaning and Exam done first (due to their scheduling). On the date of the actual filling for the tooth pain, they did a bunch of fillings. None of them took care of the tooth pain. They never even touched the the tooth that was hurting. And gave me a big bill. Tooth is still hurting :( Probably wont go there again. Looking for a better dentist. Thank you very much.

Same boat as another reviewer who scheduled an 8am, waited an hour and no show. I rescheduled for the following week, confirmed 8am with a receptionist and received a text confirmation the night before my appointment for 8:30 which I wouldn’t be able to do. The staff didn’t seem fazed by this at all! Their schedule coordinator is atrocious, and terrible customer service.

They have NO RESPECT for their patients' time. None whatsoever. They made me wait 1.5 hours for a ROUTINE appointment just to take X-rays to send to my insurance company for approval. They lie and tell you an appointment time much earlier than what they book you for. Then the dentists go out for lunch while you are still waiting 45 mins past your "appointment time." One of the reviews here said they triple book their patients-- I discovered this was true from a receptionist. Once you are seated in a room, you will be asked to wait another half an hour or more. Just-- don't.

Don’t waste your time and money at this place….I had scheduled a routine cleaning for my family in December, which I booked way back in June. When they gave me the appt for December, I checked with Karen - the manager to ensure that they wouldn’t cancel it last minute due to absence of hygienists or dentists since it was holiday season. Karen told me “I am the one responsible for scheduling them, so if I am giving you the appt, you can be sure that they will be here”. I called the office the week prior to my appointment and they confirmed my appointment. I even received couple of text messages on both my husband’s and my phone. However when we went there at the right time, they told me that they dint have dentists or hygienists and that they already called to cancel the appointment. It was a big fat lie…I even showed them my call log to prove that no one had called me from their office and also showed them the text message that confirmed my appointment. They were unapologetic and stood their ground. I ended up wasting my 6-month periodic cleaning because of their inefficiency. This episode however did not prompt me to write a review or give them 1 star because I know that scheduling mix-ups happen. When I went for my regular cleaning this week, they took x-rays and told me that I needed deep cleaning. They also told me that I would have to pay close to $300 for that and made me sign some papers. I was skeptical and told them that I would just go with a regular cleaning. The office manager – Karen (who generally is very rude and talks down to you) walked up to the exam room and told me that they already offered me “Complimentary cleaning” last time and they wouldn’t be able to offer me one again. I was perplexed. I asked her if my insurance did not pay for the previous visit since she termed it “Complimentary”. She said they paid, but they were supposed to do a deep cleaning on me. I countered that neither the dentist nor the hygienist told me about this, but she was so rude and told me that they would only do “Deep cleaning” now. If not I wouldn’t be seen. I trusted my gut feeling and walked away without having a cleaning done. When I called up my insurance, they told me that I need to pay only $83 for deep cleaning and not $300. I immediately switched my dental provider while on the same call with them. This place only cares about money and not about your dental hygiene. The front office staff is clueless functioning under a rude manager Karen. Avoid this place at all costs.

I don't know how this office does their requests for authorization from insurance? They tell you authorization has been sent but weeks later when I call insurance, insurance says they din't get anything from them? Now I have to start over again waiting not only for authorization to get through but for also for decision (and how long this takes more?) from insurance to get approved or not, which could have been started already had the request gone through which should have gone through in even less than a week, since supposedly this is done electronically. But since nothing came through, there is nothing to be started to process the authorization. Now your pain in the tooth includes pain in the ass!

WORST dentist ever!! Quoted me for white fillings for my back teeth that already have silver fillings and didn't even ask which kind I preferred. Then I got the fillings and was in horrible pain and the lady on the phone said he couldn't fill them right because my wisdom teeth were in the way! Had they told me this before I'd have just pulled it. Now I wasted money on filling a tooth I should have just had pulled. They do not care about their patients only making money. Horrible horrible dental office don't even waste your time and money.

This place billing system is terrible. Be careful every time for your treatment invoice. Otherwise you might got a lot balance to pay all in a sudden. I got the treatment from last year and I paid for the treatment every time I visit there. All of a sudden they told me on my 2nd cleaning this year, I own them over $200 balance. I believe everyone will ask why and need the detail info about how can this happened. the manager there did give me a writing list about the date and charge they didn't get paid from insurance company after I insist on needing the price list (they reject to provide a print out of this detail issue ). The funny thing is that part of the amount comes from last year treatment. It is really unbelievable that nobody told me I have a balance need to pay when I visit there several times last year and 1 time earlier this year. The manager mentioned she was not work at this location before, didn't know why the staff before never told me this, so even another year passed, I still need to pay the money!!!while, if this is the situation, then it's fine, I could pay for it. However, the worst thing is that the total amount on the list she wrote to me is even lower than the money I paid for that balance. Since there is several amount, I didn't notice it at the beginning. After I realized it, It makes me to go there second time to get the explanation. The manager shows a angry face and no patient to me. After she calculate the list she provide to me and realized the money difference, she didn't even check the system and just told me it is extra fee-- the insurance adjustment. If she know there is difference, why she never mentioned on the list she provide to me? ! I know I don't know the detail of insurance process and have a lot questions, but how can you treat people this way. I am super disappointment with service in this place. I definitely do not recommend people go there!!! Who knows what will happen next time!!!

The Indian dentist screwed up 2/3 times I went there. 1st time, she gave me a supposed 1.5hour long local anesthesia that lasted for 6 HOURS. 2nd time, she POKED my BLEEDING GUM, to see 'where the blood was coming from'. It obviously hurt a lot and started bleeding even more. What a joke. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN.

This office has it's ups and downs but I would still rate it at a one star. The front office staff is terrible and I have called on numerous occasions where the receptionist (Kathy) has put me on hold for a long period of time (10-20 minutes) before I call back and get that same person who then will put me on hold for the same amount of time. The briefest hold time with that particular person has been 8-10 minutes, which for someone who works as well is not okay! The X-ray specialist is not very nice and when you refuse to do the X-ray at that time for any reason, she doesn't kindly say no problem, please sign this refusal form, but rudely asks the hygienist "Did you hear what she said?" like it's a horrific thing to turn down unnecessary X-rays to your body and if you know your insurance will not be covering x-rays every 6 months. I have not had any good experience with this practice other than with the physicians themselves and one hygienist who is super friendly and tries to work with you and your schedule.

I had an 8 am appointment which i confirmed multiple times throughout the week. They tell you to arrive just a little early. I am still waiting outside of their office. The staff is a no show. I've been waiting for a hour. This is un-professionalism at its best!

Doctors are good. But the bad part is the front office and reception. They dont give proper call backs and always we have to ask them even if there is a delay from their side. I had to make multiple appointments for a crown fitting, since there is a delay in getting ready.. No single call back from their side. Planning to move to a different dental clinic, though this is the nearest one for me. Sad part is they are not even apologetic for their mistake.

Please avoid this place if possible, I am super disappointment with the service. I called for billing questions almost 6 times and got a no response. Paid the full amount at the time of service. I have been there a couple of times. For cleanings; for root canals; for crowns and post. I have had good and questionable experiences. One Asian doctor. Dr Gido. In the middle of a root canal, the metal endodontic file broke off and is now still embedded into my tooth. While in the middle of the root canal, I heard the Assistant say," Wow, that's weird". After he told me it looked like we got out all the infected tissue. I asked him what if there is a problem/pain. He said then I would have to see a surgeon. To do a redo.. As thought this wasn't enough trauma to one tooth...

I cannot recommend Dr Kaur and the staff at Piscataway Family Dental enough. Best experience at the dentist ever! Dr. Kaur made sure I was pain free and comfortable. I have dental anxiety. The childrens dentisit was very nice, but the wait time was way too long!! appointment was for 11:30am when we walked in it was only one seat left and people were still coming in and had to stand. It was hot in waiting area packed with patients waiting. We waited over an hour to be called to a room just to sit another 30-40 minutes! However staff seem to be pretty nice, and Dr Patel as well. The 2 stars is because the staff is nice and friendly other than that it would have only been 1 star , wait time is terrible!

Took my 7 year old in for his appointment, I had my infant with me, & after waiting about 20 minutes they asked me if I would allow my 7 year old child in by himself and I responded with "NO" so they told me that I couldn't go in with my infant, therefore my 7 year old was not seen. Their office manager is very rude, she is not client friendly, and always have a mad look on her face, this type of behavior doesn't belong in this type of setting. They should change their name from "Family Dentist."

I will never use them again I have been a client with them since January and I was supposed to get a lot of work done instead they pulled a bunch of teeth then when my insurance denied there request they never called they just didn’t do anything. I only found out when I called a month later and they resubmitted the same request. This went on for 6 months I finally called and asked for an appointment they made the appointment and when I got there I found out they will no longer be taking my insurance after September. I am beyond mad and worse off now then I was when I started. I have never written a review before and probably never will again

There should no star for this dental office at all, they have a new office manager whose name is Karen that came up with all the bullshit about my refund. First she came up a number that way over the amount that i owe them, and after I pay it and confirmed with Insurance company that she overcharged, that 's when the nightmare begin. After millions of times back and forth with the office manager and insurance company, along with millions of calls and waits, then she finally agree with the amount that she think the office owes me and said she is going to issue the money which will take 6 weeks may be even less. After wait for more than 8 weeks, I did not receive refund and I made a call to office and the office people can not even find anything about my refund, not even the amount, and still asking the exact amount. This is a totally black dental office and totally f**ked up place. I have been into that Dental for more than 2 years and all these things happens after this new office manager came in. So so disappointed and I will never ever recommend any one to that Dental office.

I just wanted to share my very bad experiences with this place, me and my kids were being treated very poorly at this place. They reschedule us 3 time out of 4 times that we had stopped there to get treated. The problem is the doctor keep on leaving the office out of no where, and there is no notification whatsoever. Every time we're in they make us waited for close to an hour and sometime more than that just to see and get treated by the doctor. I don't want people to have the same bad experiences as we had so please do yourself a favor and go to other places. They schedule us an appointment for in six month and just about the next day when we're about to come to get treated, they canceled on us. When they were able to take care of us, it almost feels like they only have one doctor available. They have worst customer service ever, the front desk people are rude sometime. You try to bring this to the manager attention and it feels like she doesn't care at all. All they can say is "there is nothing we can do", this place is horrible. I would give this place zero star if google let me......the worst of the worst.

My children are patients here and they love it. The staff is super friendly. i was able to get appointments fairly quickly and without any issues. The staff even helped me with my children to make the visits easier. My 11 year old wants to come back all the time because he feels so comfortable (and that was after his 3 fillings). My 5 year was not seen but is so excited to come back for her visit next month. My 3 year old did not want to leave. They made my experience as a protective mother was a breeze after being so nervous. I was recommended by a coworker. I've recommended 3 others because I love it here. Thanks Dr. Reem, Lauren, Bobbie, Dana and Alejandra! You guys are the BEST!

This place gets my highest praise. They gave me an appointment within a week of when I called. I got called into work for overtime the morning of the appointment and when I called to reschedule they gave me an appointment the next day with no trouble. I went into the full waiting room and was worried I would have to wait forever. The people waiting must have just been walk ins because I only had to wait about 30 minutes. Every staff member I talked to was nice, professional and the room was very clean. I was worried because the last dentist I went to said I would have to get a $4500 implant but after being checked the dentist said I only need a root canal and an implant which is about $3,000 less. I'm so glad I decided to go here and I encourage anyone who reads this to do the same. Hands down best dental experience I've ever had.

Please avoid this place.... This provider is just a money grabber as much as possible from patient and insurance. They just give estimate which is unrealistic to the bill that they bill to you and insurance. My son had 2 filling originally and doctor said we need to fill totally 4 fillings... They gave a estimate of around 235$ and asked to come for the next visit and then they said we need to do more filling and updated estimate came to around 360$ and we had around 4 sitting of treatment. Later after few days they came back and said we need to pay additional 350$ + for the portion of the amount insurance did not pay. I seriously think these provider is making/cooking up the ITEMS and trying to grab more money from insurance first... if not paid by insurance then from patient. Hence request all my friends to avoid this provider.... For you information I had premier delta dental insurance that's almost 80% of the charges paid by the insurance.

This establishment and its staff engage in overt discrimination against patients of Hispanic background. They speak to patients in a condescending manner that implies a lack of understanding on the part of the patients and make them wait excessively long upon arrival before they are seen; at times, they may even take in patients that arrive after. Additionally, one of the main dentists, Hari Babu, treats her patients in a prejudiced and discriminatory manner, as she directs her questions to dental assistants asking them to translate for patients of Hispanic background who speak English in a denigrating way.

Ever since I was blessed to get health/dental insurance through Obamacare, I was fortunate to find, "Piscataway Family Dental" for my dental needs. Each time I received dental care at their dental office in Piscataway, I was treated with the utmost respect and care. I also was impressed with dental professionals who were kind, skilled and worked together with an attitude of teamwork and cooperation. I went for general cleanup and dental X-ray, after that Doctor confirmed I have dental cavities.They gave me the detailed quote and booked for another day for cavity treatment. The quote I was provided before the treatment an the bill after the treatment does not match up and I was charged almost double from initial quote. when I asked receptionist about the charges they cooked some story. One thing I don't understand was nothing has changed and how the bill can be different from before and after the treatment? I am really disappointed for that extra charges. I hope they can act more professional from now!

The receptionist didn't update the insurance even after I told her that We have a new insurance as we have switched jobs. After getting the cleaning done We got a bill in the mail which was supposed to be 100% covered by the insurance. They kept billing the old insurance and tried to file the claim. Those claims kept getting rejected as the old insurance was no longer active. I have called them few time but Keep going in circles. This office was a prime example why I dislike the dentist. My appointment was at 1045 and almost an hour later the rude receptionist called me up to the desk to tell me I was not going to be seen until 12 because they were running behind. She was just NASTY. Her attitude is what made the unfortunate circumstance an issue. I am typically pretty understanding, but treating patients like that should not be acceptable especially because as a receptionist, she was the face of the office. The dental hygienist and the dental asst were both nice, but even the actual dentist I feel like dropped the ball. I still to today do not know her name ... which should have been the first thing she said to me when she walked in. She was very cold and didn't have much bedside manner and I seemed more like a check then a patient. She even said a few times who are you again!!! SMH! I expected so much more. I was rushed to schedule a Follow up for a root canal, but when I called my insurance to verify the costs that were given to me on the treatment plan, I was advised that there was almost a $300 difference. I called PFD to inquire about the difference and the gentleman that he didnt know why and some one would call me back... No one ever called back. Needless to say I ended up cancelling the root canal and going for a second opinion and the findings from one dentist to the other were similar but there were also additional things missed. I will not be going back to PFD! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

She filled them "all in one hour", and low and behold, a week later, one just falls off, another is uncomfortably rough, and another is painfully sensitive. They don't give you the proper time you need for the injection to make you numb so it hurts badly and if you complain they just add a drop more and keep going and they mess up your teeth just enough so you have to come back. I need 2 root canals and an artificial tooth because this trash dentist chipped my upper tooth without saying anything and did not give me correct fillings in additions to leaving pin-size holes that caused infection. Nurses are mouthy and unhappy too. Go in with 2 small cavities, come out needing root canals and teeth replacements. That's how they make money! Thinking about contacting a lawyer because i have family that has gone there and magically had the same issues.

Piscataway Dental will squeeze every dollar out of you, without regard to what you can afford. Each patient is approached as a golden mine and they will dig in your mouth until your pockets are emptied. They will never help you understand what your insurance will cover for you; to the contrary - they will use the insurer as an excuse. I had to make 3-way conference calls between them and the insurer to figure out what is covered and what not. They bills you get are never ending. When you think you have finally paid all your bills, in two months you will get a "reassessed" bill for another coupe of hundred. Then another one, it will drag on for months. They also lied to me twice over the phone that they will send my X-rays to my new dentist. I regret ever having set foot there.

It took a long time and a lot of bad dental experiences to finally find Piscataway Family Dental. I particularly like Dr. Karr. I was actually referred to them and specifically to Dr. Karr, by my son who has special needsand is on the autism spectrum, and who in the past received horrendous dental. Unfortunately he can no longer go there because his insurance changed, but my daughter and I continue to go to Piscataway Family dental. I will say that initially when I started going there, I had problems with some of the office staff. However, those particular front desk people do not seem to be there any longer, and the current front desk staff, as well as the hygienists are wonderful! They are professional, patient and courteous. The quality of the front desk and support staff are very important to the overall care My family has received there. I am so happy to finally have dental care I feel confident about.

I am not sure why so many negative reviews on this particular provider - I have been to them twice so far and spoken on phone multiple times - They are a VERY BUSY office for sure - But in all fair honesty they try their best to be efficient and responsive. I never had to over wait !!! & sometimes emergencies do come in - I was one of them when they took me 1st time - Dr. Ruchi Bhan (Hope I got name right) has been wonderful.... Supporting staff was great always to me. Yes, I did have an issue earlier where it took them time to get my authorizations expedited knowing upfront that I had less than a month on hand and my Insurance was about to expire -***In my perfect world**** - I just wish they could've secured the approvals on time and my crown fitting was done - But I do believe that whatever happens is for the best - Looks like , my tooth was way too bad to be getting a crown done and perhaps needs to be extracted - Doctor was very upfront and guided that I could do it but that would be wasting my money .....I would just say .....Nothing is perfect - It's part and parcel of the business and life ....try them out before going by the negative reviews.

The billing department does not bill properly. We informed them that we ONLY wanted what our insurance would cover 100% to be done. Apparently, our insurance requested proof of calcium build up on a root canal. They never sent it. So of course the insurance denied it. They in turn tried to bill us for $375.00. Be careful of the dental assistant that would x-ray your brain instead of your teeth because the office heater got too hot and she still thought it was nothing when I complained to her. The first time I went to this dental office my tooth was filled but I had nerve pain for about month after that. The only thing that was done was a "pat down" of the filling which didn't help much. After about a month the pain subsided on its own. I didn't go back after that for a year. Then I decided to give them another try & this go around was much better. This office is ok for cleanings & X-rays but go somewhere more professional for anything else.

Dr. Shah is the BEST! After reading many negative reviews about this practice I was hesitant to bring my 5 year old son to this office, however, Dr. Shah was AMAZING with him. My son entered the office with 9 (yes 9 cavities) crying and scared because he knew what was in store for him but between Dana (the dental assistant) and Dr. Shah, he left feeling at ease and actually looking forward to his next appt! This is a horrible place; they basically cheat customers. They told us that our insurance can cover 50%, so my son did a filling there and paid 50%. It’s a clinic, treated like urgent care more than anything else. You have an appt, be prepared to wait an hour and half or so to get in. Dentist and her assistant, worst bed side manners, it’s like a car wash... they get you in and out without cleaning you up, mouth, teeth, your face after all the dental work. DON’T EVER GO HERE!! If I could give zero stars I would. I went here because they took my insurance. BIG MISTAKE! Front desk staff was RUDE from the time I called to make an appointment. All the staff are very efficient, friendly, and professional - they always seem very cheerful like it's a fun office to work in. The doctors seem very knowledgeable and have a good bedside manner, and they take the time to answer my questions. I'm in and out in under an hour for a routine cleaning & exam (even with x-rays and a fluoride treatment). I've never had to wait more than 3 minutes when I book appointments for noon, even if the waiting room is a bit crowded when I arrive (maybe the other people waiting don't have appointments?)

I first was seen when having insurance . insurance was recently dropped to do government saying I make too much money . too much money I never see. I explained this to the receptionist when calling left work early on Friday for a consult. Asked before I left if I would have to bring anything $ they said no we have everything here . today 3/4/17 I'm being told I need to have 100$ paid just for another consult and that monies would be do day of service. Never before have I seen a more unprofessional place. I sure hope that the 2 teeth I need pulled don't become infected because I'm really in pain .... My first visit was an emergency: I needed a crown just days before having to go through surgery. They took care of it and made sure my problem was solved before the surgery. My doctor is Dr. Haribabu, known as Dr. V at the office. She is an amazing lady. Her staff is very friendly and professional. My first visits were great..The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the Dr was very friendly. I definitely have high anxiety of the dentist, and they made me feel very comfortable in their care. They even accommodated giving me an emergency appointment today. this dentist office will have you waiting hours before your appointment before they like to book 4-5 patients at the same time. the dentist does not sit and ask questions, takes her time getting to know her patients dental history. She put 2 crowns in aggressively, along with the her dental assistant who also was very aggressive with my temporary crowns. While the dentist was putting in my crowns, it was so aggressive it popped out of my mouth fell on the ground while she was standing over me, she cleaned it somehow and put in my mouth. The temporary crowns the dental assistant put in my mouth were not sealed. I had so much gum pain for two weeks. This dental practice should be closed down by the ADA. I went to another dentist and they showed me the x-rays of the opening, gaps between the crown and my gums, of one of the crowns and I paid out of pocket $900 to Piscataway Family Dental. the dental assistant came into the room opened up her tools threw them down on the tray and she wanted to put in my permanent crowns!! I said NO, I want to see the dentist! unbelievable. the front desk told me they would refund me the money and i have yet to receive it, its been 7 weeks.

I still have yet to get my wisdom tooth removed. I went in two weeks ago and xrays were taken. The nurse then scheduled a meeting with the oral surgeon on June 3,2015 to discuss the surgery since a nerve was next to the tooth. We went in today and one of the nurses placed me in the seat and was ready to pull my tooth out. She obviously didn't read why I came to the office. Then the surgeon Dr. P came in to explain the xrays. Since I am a minor, my father wanted to see the xrays. Dr. P was very rude and told my father to get out the way. My father asked him who he was talking to and he said he didn't care if we were related to Obama. They continued to argue and Dr. P walked out of the room saying we can go somewhere else because he doesn't care. The remarks he made were very insulting. This was my first impression of this place. They treat you and your family with no respect. This was the worst experience ever. I received no service and left. Horrible place. Don't waste your time. 5 stars from start to finish. It was the first dental visit for both my 3.5 year old and my 22 month old. The staff at the front was warm and friendly and kept us updated as to when we could expect to be called. We waited no more than the 10 minutes they estimated and went directly into the room with Dr Reem. She was absolutely delightful and completely effective with my two wiggly littles. I had all of my wisdom teeth extracted here in 2012. The oral surgeon, M. Goulston, was quick and pleasant. The office staff I encountered on Wednesdays were also friendly and knowledgeable. Based on my positive experience, I recently decided to refer my family member here. However, when I called on behalf of my family member on a Monday about 2 years after my own procedure, a woman picked up the phone with a “Yeah, hello?” tainted with attitude. I wasn’t even sure if I called the right place and was taken aback by the rude “greeting.” I went on to courteously ask about their fee schedule as my family member does not have dental insurance but was met with rude replies about how she cannot tell me any of that due to HIPAA, which is inaccurate. Throughout the maybe 5-minute conversation, it felt like she was lecturing me. She was not aware that I am an experienced healthcare compliance/HIPAA professional, but upon experiencing the surprising lack of professionalism I knew I had to bring my business elsewhere that will treat their patients/prospective patients with respect.
