They have poor management of time my appointment was at 10 sat for an hour before I was told the doctor wouldn't be ready for awhile longer and wanted to take xrays in the meantime to ensure I wouldn't walk out. Will not go back will not recommend

The office was easy to find, I love that it is in a quaint old house, it is clean, everyone is so friendly, they took me on time, everything that was done or needed to be done was explained to me and I will be going back in 6 months. I have no complaints and highly recommend Ocean Family Dentists.

I usually go to the Surf City office and Dr. Gilbert is my go to Dentist. The entire staff have made my visits and treatments as comfortable and successful as any I have ever experienced. Care and comfort are their priority!

Lisa Basile is an awesome Hygienist! thorough, precise and gentle. The dentist that did my exam was a real stiff. No personality. A stark contrast to Lisa.

First and foremost, this dental office was very unsanitary. New to the area, I chose this practice because of its proximity to my home and because it was in my network. I went in for a cleaning, X-rays and checkup. I told the receptionist that I only wanted services covered by my insurance. She told me that they didn’t know what was covered and didn’t have the manpower to check. In all my 66 years, I have never come across refusal. So I requested a cleaning only. The first thing I noticed was that there were no sinks. I had to spit into a FUNNEL! I also noticed that the X-ray bite wings were scattered all over the place.

Everyone in this office couldn't be more compassionate, gentle, helpful & caring. Until i found the Ocean Family dentistry, referred too me by a friend, I would experience horrendous fearful nightmares before my appointments.. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else for my dental care. Will continue to recommend this office to anyone looking for a fantastic dentist & staff.

ANOTHER great visit this morning! This is truly caring, painless dental practice. I have had every procedure under the sun and have never been disappointed with the advice, quality, sensitivity, experience, and reassuring attitudes of the entire staff. I think of how lucky I have been to have found Ocean Family Dental for my many procedures. The dentists are honest and the prices are reasonable. Hooray for me!

Whenever I go to the Ocean Family Dental Office, I rarely wait more than five minutes. I am greeted with hello every time. The dental hygienist are friendly and engage you in talk even when you can't respond. They also let you know where you need to concentrate your brushing. The dentists are pleasant and all of the staff are concerned about whether you are comfortable. Best dentists! Bright, friendly & calm environment. Here you should not have dentists anxiety. Helpful billing staff and overall.. I always have a great visit.

In a word, exceptional.... After not being able to eat hardly anything for years Dr Gilbert made certain that wass corrected and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly and I prefer that to professional and distant.

I have like everyone been seeing Dentists my whole life. I am far from a relaxed patient. My experience with Dr. Sean Martin was the best and most relaxing visit I ever had. He explained in detail what I needed to have done and was gentle and reassuring during the procedure. The entire staff was very welcoming and also reassuring.
