I have been coming here for my whole life. The technicians and doctors have literally seen me and my family grow up. I could go to a dentist closer to my house but I come out to see these people. It has experienced a recent ownership change but I think the place has only gotten better because of it. On a side note I got a pop socket from them so that's pretty cool too.

I have not, as of yet, had the opportunity to see Dr. Battula. I’ve been a long time patient of the former owner, Dr. Zelley, and I am not due for check up until September. After reading all of the great reviews, I am looking forward to meeting her. I'm a new patient of Dr Battula that I met for the first time today in her Haddon Heights office. This is my first time writing a review on anything.While waiting in her waiting room she took the time to come out and introduce herself. Just hearing the word dentist gives me fear and anxiety. I had a major procedure done she said she could do at this first visit. In the past I would have said no thank you not today, I will call and reschedule, and have never made that call. She has a special gift of calm, reassuring and gentleness. During the procedure she was so kind and gentle and really concerned that I was comfortable and doing ok. Her assistant Carly was so sweet holding my hand and also making sure I was ok. Her staff is exceptional everyone I met today was so warm and caring. Her receptionist Tabatha is wonderful gives helpful information that I didn't even know was available. My visit was truly like being in a room with girlfriends and enjoying your time with them. My 4 year old son developed a cavity and I was very ambivalent about the process of having it repaired. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of very well. Check-in was efficient and we waited no more than 5 minutes. Dr Battula explained the entire process and even offered to let me observe (I did not). Dr Battula has a great bedside presence and made my son feel comfortable. The filling took about 20 minutes from start to finish and in the end, my child experienced no pain at all. I will be entrusting all of my family’s future dental care to Dr Battula and the team at Haddon Heights Smiles.

I have been going to Heights Dental for many years. It is now Haddon Heights Smiles. I would just like to share my opinion and experience to confirm to others what a great place it still is. Dr Battula is a kind, gentle, knowledgeable dentist who is very passionate about her work. Her character is honest and sincere. The entire new staff is so friendly , welcoming and confident. You will still see a couple friendly faces from the previous staff who were always so nice, funny and competent. I know it's human nature to be nervous with change but nothing to worry about here , you will be "all smiles" when you leave here.

Me and my family have been going to her for 10 years she is so much more than just a dentist .She’s kind gentle caring understanding and sympathizes with us .Me and my son are definitely scared of the dentist but somehow she always makes us feel comfortable and calms us down and we do what we have to get done .I would never allow anybody else to touch my teeth and my family’s teeth. I normally don’t give reviews but this Dennis is amazing all you would have to do is go one time .EVERY dentist is not the same one you’re looking for a dentist that cares ,does a wonderful job on your mouth without causing any pain overcharging you or making you wait in the waiting room like you don’t matter .She makes you feel like your family and honestly you wouldn’t go to anybody else after the first time .If I had to rate her from 1 to 10 should be a 20 and I do think of her as family she had moved her office 25 minutes away and I have no problem driving that far to see her . A couple months ago I was in distress with an infected wisdom tooth causing me severe pain. It was the weekend, a Saturday, and I didn't have a regular dentist to turn to. It took some time to identify a dentist with an impeccable reputation who could help me, and luckily I found one who fit the bill: Dr. Battula at Haddon Height Smiles. I called assuming the doctor couldn't see me right away, but I was wrong. Dr. Battula was kind enough to fit me in later that day! She gave me an exam and informed me that I needed to see an oral surgeon to fully address what was ailing me. Instead of simply sending me on my way the good doctor prescribed antibiotics and something to ease my discomfort until my visit to the oral surgeon. She wore her concern on her face, which I appreciated immensely. I could tell she cared. Dr. Battula recommended an excellent oral surgeon for me to contact the following Monday. But before Monday came, I received a text message from Dr. Battula inquiring how I was doing. I was beside myself. I was in pain, but she reached out with words of encouragement to hang in there. When I called the oral surgeon that Monday they indicated that they couldn’t fit me in until later that afternoon. I was in agony. Dr. Battula intervened on my behalf and called the oral surgeon. Miraculously, the next thing I knew I had an appointment at 9:30 am. Dr. Batulla texted me several times afterwards too, which amazed me. I am not used to that level of care and concern, especially considering we had just met. Like many people, I have anxiety when I go to the dentist. I went for another exam and found I needed work to address issues with my other teeth. With any other Doctor anxiety would have set in fast! But that wasn't the case here. Dr. Battula and her staff were a true comfort. The effortless hospitality and concern for me put my mind at ease. Dr. Battula was extremely gentle applying Novocain, and I never even felt the needle. I actually fell asleep in the chair when they were filling my teeth, if you can believe that. Due to these experiences I have become an advocate for Dr. Battula and her staff. She is one of a kind, in part because she is so caring and kind. Thank you Dr. Batulla!

I previously visited a different dentist regularly where I had some no so great experiences that left me with anxiety and fear of the dentist. As soon as I met Dr. Battula I realized that my experience in her office would differ so much from the previous experiences that I had. Before my appointment, Dr. Battula came out to introduce herself and talk with me for some time while I was waiting to be seen from by the hygienist. She made me feel welcomed in her office and more comfortable. From then on she has made me realize that the anxiety and fear I had of being at the dentist was all because of my previous experiences. She helped me through the procedures that she went through and continuously made sure that I was okay, even if I didn’t speak up. Dr. Battula and her staff are friendly, welcoming and overall great and I would recommend them any day! They turned the way that I feel about the dentist upside down!

The front desk coordinator could not have been more helpful or accommodating in getting me into the office quickly so that I could be evaluated. Dr. Battula took the time to greet me personally prior to my sitting in the dental chair (always nerve wracking for me). She immediately made me feel at ease with her kind demeanor. Her staff was also friendly and comforting. Dr. Battula listened carefully, performed her exam and created a dental plan for me. She explained the procedure step by step and allowed me to ask questions. It was a great experience all the way around.

Hello all, while having a problem with a tooth I went to my old dentist office and found out that it had changed hands. I went in and was welcomed with open arms. The dentist Dr. Battula noticed how nervous I was and worked with me like no other dentist ever had before. She is the most caring dentist I've ever been to. She then told me that I needed a root canal then sent me to another very caring DR. Prior to me going she personally checked on me,after that when it was found that my tooth was in fact cracked she then found someone else that would treat me kindly. What a great and caring DR. woman, person. Again after she knew that I had a tooth extracted she again contacted me personally. This is the only place that I will ever go. THANK-YOU DR. I can't say enough on how wonderfully I was treated. The office stayed open just to do an emergency root canal to stop the pain. Dr Battula and her team really listened to my fears and took them seriously. They did everything possible to calm my fears and took time to make sure I was comfortable before doing any work. I can honestly say I had no pain after the root canal. I didn't even need a Tylenol. I have finally found a dental professional who I can feel confident in going to. I have suffered over the years with dentist that did not listen to the patient.. the first time Dr. B and I met was truly by accident.. I thought it was a different dentist that I had a coupon for to whiten my teeth... it truly was love at first exam. I explained my problems and she listened and a tooth that my dentist did nothing about wound up needing a root canal. If it wasn’t for Dr. Battula, I would still have been suffering.
