Just had my first appointment and these people are wonderful. As mentioned on other reviews, my hygienist, Ellen, Catherine the X-ray technician, and Dr. Hud were all friendly, professional and deeply sensitive to my comfort. They explained everything they did and always answered my questions. I highly recommend this dental firm and will be back in six months, myself.

If I could give a half a star I would! I just came from their office as a new patient for my daughter and I’m sitting down filling out the new patient forms and my husband points out a ROACH walking on the wall! I turn around to look and I see 2 more! They were on the wall and on the chairs. I go to tell the front desk and she didn’t even seem surprised or concerned! I’ve never been so disgusted! Imagine where else they’ve been walking around

I absolutely love this dentist. My daughter is 3 and a half and she is terrified of the dentist. This dentist office is awesome. It was our first time there today and I was nervous and so was she. We walked in and were greeted by two nice receptionist. We didn’t wait long to be called back maybe 5 minutes not even. The dentist and dental assistant met us in the back and were super friendly. He explained what he was going to do and was awesome with my daughter. I definitely recommend this dentist. A+++++++

I originally loved this place & thought it was great but now I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially anyone that is a busy person with kids who may have to cancel an appointment in the future. This is their office's policy: 2 missed appointments and you no longer can make an appointment ahead of time (only call day of & see if they have any openings). So, I was originally getting a lot of work done & had appointments once a week for several months. The first time I cancelled I called as soon as they opened in the morning and told them I wouldnt make it. They were friendly and seemed okay with it. No one told me if I cancelled again I would be punished. Several weeks and several appointments later (which I'd be early or on time for) I ended up not showing up for an appointment. I called them after the fact & explained that I had a personal emergency & the appointment completely slipped my mind. I wanted to reschedule. I wish they had just told me I'd have to pay a $50 cancellation fee...I would've accepted that without a problem! Cancellation fees make sense! But instead they now wont let me make an appointment, but are telling me to call in the morning on whatever day I want to come in and see if they have an opening. Oh, and its not a one time thing. I was told that this is how I will have to go about coming in there from now on! Which means I will not be able to have an appointment that's set up a week in advance that I can revolve my schedule around. It means I can only cross my fingers and hope they can see me on a day that I can come in at a time that actually works for me. Its absolutely ridiculous and a big sign that they dont care about their clients' convinience or schedules. They have my crown that needs to be put in which I will have to bite the bullet and go get put in, but afterwards I will never step foot in this office again. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Rude staff and they charge more money to release records. Don’t let the playroom fool you. That’s about the only professional thing with this place. I’ve spent a lot of time and money on them and they have the nerve to charge for records. I’ll be taking my 5 kids elsewhere that actually cares about your child.

Because you have to sign on a cancellation policy that If you have to cancel an appointment It has to before 24 hours Otherwise you will have to pay 1$ every minute Nobody knows the unseen everything could happen within 24 hours And i understand that you have to pay something but not 1$ every minute hehehe Silly

After spending almost $3000 out of pocket and our 3 year old son having to go to the emergency room for breathing issues for work terrible dental work. This office refuses to release his records without paying them more money. These are the kind of places that take advantage of you when something bad happens. Meanwhile my poor little man has to wait to go to a reputable dentist. This place should be ashamed of themselves. They only care about money not your children be advised.

First time visiting Growing smiles yesterday for my sons tooth that needed treatment asap and Growing smiles provided the necessary treatment and did an amazing job! My son loved it and even told me he wants them to be his primary dentist provider! I ended up making an appointment for myself and they were able to fit me into the schedule quickly! We brought our two boys to Growing Smiles for the first time today and it was a great experience. Everyone from the office staff to hygienists and Dr. Sekhon were polite and considerate with us and our children. They relieved my 9 year old's anxiety of going to the dentist and were more than patient with my 4 year old who was extra stubborn and didn't want to cooperate. They never tried to force him to do anything...something we've seen from other practices. The doctor was also very conservative and understanding about moving forward with any fillings. I never felt pressured...again something we've seen from other dentists. The office is immaculate and spacious with a treehouse and video games for the kids! We are very happy so far and look forward to working with Growing Smiles in the future.

Rude staff only in the front, the blonde at the desk has no idea what to say when asked a question about why my appointment was rescheduled (30 min later). The lightskinned female with glasses insisted on going back and forth with me as a customer, when i called her out for saying something she was incorrect about and she also continued to escalate her voice with me as i told her I’m not slow and understood what she was saying. She also told me that i can go to another place for service.Other than that the staff in the back was awesome, very professional and nice to my child. I am the type of person who believes the first impressions is important, however in this particular case it is different. Maybe the front area staff needs some pointers from the very friendly, professional people in the back. At first I said I would never return after the first encounter but the back staff changed my thoughts on it all.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I had a dental emergency. I broke a tooth to the root and needed an appointment as soon as possible. I called and was left on hold forever. So I filled out their immediate contact form TWICE. 5 days later no one has even bothered to return a call or make any contact. Fortunately found a dentist who was more than willing to help and got me in immediately.

The receptionists and dental assistants are kind and friendly. Office is clean and has Tv's to distract kids while they're in the chair, and the waiting room has a really neat tree house with a slide, as well as video games to play (but watch out, at least one was a "sniper" game, so just beware if you don't like your kids playing those types.) But other than those positives, I feel like my experiences were a little different from other reviewers. My not-quite 4 year-old has seen the same dentist three times--twice in the Voorhees location and our most recent visit in Mount Laurel. While I wouldn't say he's outright unfriendly, I do feel like he lacks some sensitivity and kid-friendliness. He got the job done each time, but we basically just have to hold her down and get through it. He doesn't spend a lot of time talking to her about the tools he's going to use or what to expect or even just making her feel comfortable. My daughter has oral sensory processing sensitivites and other anxieties, but a little sense of humour can go a long way with making her feel more relaxed and cooperative. She also picks up on things even if it seems like she's distracted, so she quit her pacifier habit after our last visit when the dentist said how it was damaging her teeth. But instead of saying anything positive to her about her having quit the pacifier during this visit, he just talked about the damage that had been done. It's not her fault she had the pacifier longer than she maybe should have, but my daughter took that as criticism towards her. He then asked me if she fought brushing her teeth. I said, "no, she brushes all by herself! She does such a great job!" (Mind you, this conversation is going on while she's being held down and yelling for us to stop, so I'm trying to be positive.) All he responded with was that she had a lot of plaque and that I should do the brushing until she's about age 6. She tries really hard to be a "big kid" and prides herself in brushing her own teeth. I feel like he could have been a bit more encouraging towards her, even while at the same time stressing the importance of caring for our teeth and that maybe mom or dad can help a bit. He then went on to talk about how I shouldn't give her sweets and candy, so I joked about him giving me a note about that for her daycare. I may be overanalyzing, but in that conversation, too, I felt like he was being judgemental and overly critical of my choices as a parent (and, for what it's worth, I am the least likely adult in my kids' life to give them candy or sweets.) Each time we went for an appointment, I left feeling like me and/or my child had been shamed in some way. It's possible I'm just being over-sensitive about these visits for some reason. It's also possible that this is just not the right fit for my family.

I absolutely love Growing Smiles of Mount Laurel! Dr. Hud did is doing my Invisalign and unlike some providers she listens to my concerns and needs and executes the plan! The staff is so welcoming and friendly! You feel like you are apart of their family! I’d recommend this office to anyone!

Called to obtain records from office, the receptionist Talia, was quite rude. Said one thing and then proceeded to get disrespectful with me. Poor customer service--- Issue was immediately fixed by the office manager and the owner actually called me to apologize. They are getting my records ready and free of charge. I definitely changed my mind on the customer service.

I took my daughter here for her 1st cleaning yesterday and we had an overall great experience. The receptionist was very nice and the waiting room was so cute and fun for her. The dentist did a great job of explaining what he was going to do and was very gentle with her. We can't wait to bring her back in 6 months!

Highly recommend this office! We are new to the area and ran across a recommendation on the spouses page here at McGuire. I am so happy I chose this office. They got me in for a new patient appointment very quickly. The atmosphere is perfect for children of all ages. My 3yr old daughter had the best experience. From start to finish the entire visit assured her time there was fun. Can’t wait to bring her back in 6 months!

We love Dr. Dina and the entire team at Growing Smiles of Mount Laurel. We have been several times with my toddler - she chipped her front teeth (on separate occasions) at her daycare when she was 12 months and again at 15 months. Dr. Dina was kind, very knowledgeable and calm. She answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable. Today was our daughters first cleaning and it went so well. Our daughter loves going to the dentist and we always have such a great time. Highly recommend!

I tried Growing Smiles for the first time for myself and and my four children and was floored by their professionalism and efficiency. Everyone that worked there was friendly, polite and professional. My kids absolutely loved it. Between the indoor play area, the coin that they get to choose what to "buy", & the docs that were caring while treating them, the kids were asking me when they can come back. We had experience with several staff members and they all knew what they were doing and were willing to accommodate our every request. Thanks for making my day!

We scheduled a consultation to get a second opinion on my 4 year old's cavities. We saw Dr. Jammal, who explained everything in detail to me, and then told me they could fill my child's three cavities at that time, with me in the room. (Our previous dentist had told us they would try filling one cavity and would have to see how my daughter reacted.) She made my daughter extremely comfortable by explaining everything she was doing, "this too is going to hug your tooth," "there's a sugar bug we need to get out of your tooth," I was in awe at how my daughter was reacting so positively and how much she truly trusted Dr. Jammal. I'm extremely happy with them and highly recommend this practice!

My 7 year old had fillings today I thought he wasn’t even going to lay on the chair but the dentist was very talkative and knew what to tell him without scaring him she showed all the tools and told him what she was doing in a nice way... They know what they are doing and very professional. Also the waiting area is very entertaining for the kids. There is a slide and tablets with games for kids to play. Very recommended

I went for a routine check but they diagnosed that I need to re-do 2 crowned teeth. They called for an appointment and called again to cancel for a different date due to the absents of doctors 2 times. (I even attended right on time for an appointment and got canceled) They also diagnosed my husband same and gave him an anesthesia shot to the the wrong side of gum when he had a treatment. They had to give a shot again to the other side of gum. As a result, my husband couldn't talk and eat for almost half a day. Finally, they worked one crowned teeth the other day and with special dentist. And speicial dentist claimed that nothing's wrong with my teeth and he looked very questioned. Manager came to me and apologies for a mistake and asked if I want to talk to the dentist who checked originally. I told them no, I will never use this dental office and left the office.

Then when I get there they told me the dentist had an emergency and that they no longer do Saturdays so I had to accommodate for another day requesting time off from work to accommodate...Looking for another pediatric dentist ..only been here once ..shame

I wish I could give growing smiles 0 stars. I had 2 or 3 missed appts with Voorehees office and after that I was placed on same day appt. I'm not anger or disgruntled about being on same day , I served my " time" or at least I though I did and that was that . I relocated and decided to start going to Mt Luarel office. I missed on appt and they put me back on same day . I asked then why wasnt I warned or given a heads up that I'd be put on same day again with one more no call no show, no action . I know every actions has a consequence but typically your made aware of that . Jackie who is the office manager from mt Luarel or Vorrhees needs to attend a basic customer service course and also how to effective communicate in the workplace along with how to handle conflict , shes very unprofessional . I called to speak with voorhees office manager after my call with Mt laurel and I was lied to and informed by Catmen that she was with another patient when in fact Mt Laurel off was updating her on out call , she never came to the phone Carmen states after listening to my complaint she finished with pt now let me see if I can get her instead she comes back to phone and states she says they can't take me off same day . I was wandering now how would she have known the nature of my call without speaking to me .... smh Never again you can dress them up in scrubs but you cant make them be professional.

Love this office, it was perfect for my 2 year-old's first dentist experience! My son loved the treehouse & tube slide, along with the tent and interactive tablets while I completed paperwork. The office is bright and playfully decorated which makes it so inviting for little ones. Dr. Dinah was awesome and my son responded to her do well! I highly recommend this office for pediatric dentistry, great experience!

Once again my problem isn't with being put on same day, it's with the lack of notification. I never stated anything about anyones time not being valuable as I do as well understand this. My concerns are you dont notify patients that there lack of communication will result in same day and or complete termination. I again was taken off same without notification put back on . This isn't rocket science it's called "corrective action" .. My original complaint has nothing to do at all with your employees with lack good customer service in addition to lacking conflict resolution skills . I again wish I could grade this with no stars

Absolutely LOVED this place! It was clean, tidy and had a great entertainment area for children; iPads with games, a treehouse with a slide, a tiny human seating area and a cute little tent. The rainforest theme is adorable, and the staff was very welcoming and kind. Dr. Dinah was amazing. She made my 4yr old daughter feel very comfortable, which made me comfortable. She joked, laughed and talked to my daughter, and seemed to genuinely enjoy meeting her new patient. She was very informative and answered all of my questions. I can’t say it enough how great I think she is. I’d be nice if more doctors were like her.
