I went in for my initial visit and I have a hole in the front of my mouth from decay. Dr Parise listened to my story and as I wasn't sure of finances foe the work I need done he did something so I wouldn't look like a hillbilly while I prepare for the root canal therapy I need! He's so sweet!

I went in for 6 root canals and was still having pain after the work was done. Went to another dentist in eatontown and had xrays done all my root canals have nerves left out . I have to have have every tooth redone .

Had a great experience!!! Dentist were great with me and all my kids. Have had cleanings to fillings to wisdom teeth pulled and braces and love the open availability for emergencies and all the staff and doctors are very nice and patient with my kids.

Great Expressions is amazing! I went for the first time on 8/13/19 in West Long Branch, NJ. The dental assistant was very gentle with my teeth, everyone was very nice there. The dentist & dental assistant were informative also. I’m definitely going back!

I am so glad I found this place! I have had a few nightmare stories with other local dentists which kept me away from a dentist for a few years. When I came here, the staff was great and compassionate to your needs. They do what needs to be done with a smile and makes you feel comfortable. I was having severe pain and Madeline was very caring and sweet, she got me in very quickly. Chantel at the front desk always goes above and beyond to make sure you will be covered for your visit and even battled my insurance when they tried to deny services I needed! Paula always gets my xrays done accurately and is gentle with that mouth thing we all hate! :) John is a great assistant to the dentist and makes you feel at ease regardless to what you are about to have done. And Dr. Parise is great! He did a flawless root canal that was both quick and painless! I didn't know the two could go hand in hand! He takes time to ensure you are comfortable, informed, and executes each job with precision and skill. I am thankful to be a patient here and my children are now patients as well. I highly recommend this place!

This place is AMAZING. From the staff at the front desk, to the assistants, and to Dr. Parise. I’ve always had an underlying fear of dentists as many people do but this place put me at ease instantly. Dr. Parise is not only super nice and a great dentist, he is so kind and actually discusses my options with me and lets me know what he’s doing as he’s doing it. I highly recommend him to EVERYONE, hands down the best

Went in to see the oral surgeon to get a wisdom tooth taken out, had an appt at 2pm, got there on time and checked in and they had me waiting for almost 3 hours. Didn't pay me any attention to tell me they were running late or anything. They had forgotten about me, put in their check in system that I had been seen and skipped over me. They realized I was still sitting in the waiting room and my tooth was finally pulled at 445pm. While I was waiting, several patients came in and left because of the wait time expected or they were already waiting and couldn't stay any longer and left. Also, there is only about 6-7 seats to sit and wait and one man that had an appt had to sit in his car and wait to be seen. The oral surgeon was amazing when I was finally seen but the level of unorginization of appts, overlooking, and making me wait almost 3 hours to even be seen was ridiculous, unacceptable, and UNETHICAL. Afterwards I called the office and explained my experience and I asked if I could be discounted for my procedure in any way for the wait and all I was offered was an electric toothbrush. I was blown away by the level of disrespect. Are you kidding me? A toothbrush? Give me a break! So the lady told me she would speak with her boss and call me back. She did call me back and said that she explained my experience to her boss and her boss said well that's unfortunate that happened to me but I have to understand that things happen and sometimes you have long waits and that there was nothing they could do. Also while I was on the phone she proceeded to say that I am already on a discounted dental plan so it's not like I'm paying much anyway, so 280 out of my pocket isn't much? Haha laughable. And also saying that my card got declined a few times before it went the rough and she cut me a break because she should have charged me every time it was declined. So unprofessional and I will never go back there ever again. It wasn't like I was asking for anything for free, even offering $5 off I would've been happy but they didn't even have the common decency to do that. I'm sure it's not the first time something like this has happened and if I keep going there, I'm sure it won't be the last time that something like this will happen. Currently looking for a new dentist. Never in my life have i ever waited 3 houes to be seen or even heard of it from anyone else.

I've had dental issues the majority of my adult life and I've been to several dentists in Monmouth county and Dr. Carlos Chavarria is the first dentist to actually do something to help me. For 10 years I've been struggling to get my teeth fixed because insurance never covers anything and I have to say that Great Expressions Dental center in Long branch is the first place to give me hope and make me feel comfortable with the dental work I need done. Thank you very much guys. Keep up the good work.

Although having 4 root canals is never a "treat" it was possible because of a caring Dentist such as Dr.Parise.. I will always be thankful that he took the time and had the empathy and the professionalism and integrity to do what was right. The staff, the other day dealing with a 3-way call from insurance company..I was very fortunate my months and months of being denied finally got approved. The office was able to get me in like a couple days later! Everyone is totally friendly, professional, and Dr.Parise, , well he explains what he is doing .I was actually laughing ,kind of getting four root canals that how much he puts you at ease. Everyone there because it's a team effort, no doubt deserves a tremendous "high-five"or something! Thank you very much

As soon as you walked in, you are greeted with a smile from Sylvia. I had a cleaning scheduled for today, but I did not see Eddie, I was then told that a new person is now in the office. No Problem. I met Alisha, and she starting to work on my teeth. SHE WAS GREAT. She took her time in doing the cleaning as best as possible with a smile. She is a great asset to your office. I got three fillings from this office and they all fell out within a year. I called to let them know what happened and the front desk gave me such pushback immediately trying to put all blame squarely on me and clearly attempting to tell me Dr Parise was not responsible for his work. They went from such nice people (when I wasn't complaining) to harsh, hard liners That only seemed only concerned with taking zero blame for the bad dental work. Fixing the problem seemed secondary to them. They told me that one filling was temporary and the other two were not their problem because I haven't been back there for regular visits. Interesting how I didn't even know the one was temporary. I have filling in my mouth for 20 years with no issues and the three that Parise did fell out within a year. Sounds Fishy. You make your determination. Dr Parise specifically did the work. Be careful going to this dentist. It is like a factory assembly line turning out bad work. I would recommend you find a better place.

The front desk lady by the name of Madilyn is very rude and unprofessional. She does not know how to speak to clients. She is loud and will cut you off while your talking. She has no knowledge about insurance issues and is quick to say its not their responsibility. My son's authorization was denied due to lack of information provided by the office staff in December. I have made multiple calls and have left emails and voicemails with no resolution. I didn't even get a call back. My son has braces and has not been seen for approx. 4 months because they cant seem to get his paperwork in order. Office manager Sylvia always very helpful and polite when you do get the change to talk to her.
