I'd give a 0 star if I could. I used to love this place when Dr. Albert LaTorre was still here, but since he left and this chain-style approach has taken over this location in Warrington, my daughter received the WORST treatment from the new dentist, Marcela Herrera. My 15 yr old was diagnosed with @ 5 cavities on two separate checkups within about a year's time. I questioned the 2nd checkup, where in she was diagnosed with 3 new ones- so I got a second opinion from my dentist (my daughter has CHIP insurance which is why I drive so far to this location b/c my dentist is not in network), and my dentist said would only fill 1 cavity & keep an eye on the other 2 (he received X-rays from Warrington plus did a face to face consult with her). So when I called Warrington back to make the filling appointment, I told the (very nice) receptionist that we were only going to get 1 filled and he said okay he'd note that. We show up a few weeks later, and I remind the front desk staff we are only going to get that specific tooth filled (keep in mind they originally told me only 2 could be filled in one visit b/c 3 was too many for where they were in her mouth). The hygienist overheard and walked back to confer with Dr. Herrera. Hygienist then comes out 5 mins later with my daughter's paperwork and says, since your daughter is old enough to see a general dentist, Doc feels as though she should receive care elsewhere since you're refusing her dental plan treatment. I explained everything to her, the how & why we only wanted one filled, and that I already mentioned this when making the filling appointment, that I'd sign a waiver if needed, etc....I just couldn't believe they were actually kicking us out of the office for only wanting 1 cavity filled!!!! As we were talking, I was getting upset so she asked me to wait in the back office so she could go talk with doc again and have her come out to speak with me face-to-face since I was confused as to why this was happening to my daughter. But the doctor chickened out, never came out to talk to me or my daughter, and made the hygienist deliver the bad news herself again- that the Doctor can't speak to me, and still refuses to treat my daughter b/c I'm not wanting to accept the full treatment plan (even though I was willing to sign a waiver for only wanting 1 filled). I was then given the office manager's info to file a complaint. That office manager called me back in a few days and literally backed me up the entire time we spoke. Said she was going to attempt a 3 way conference call with Dr. Herrera. Never happened. That nice office manager has since left the practice. A new office manager called my about 2 months later. Told her the same story. Basically nothing can be done at this point, except to see another dentist at one of their other office locations. Too late- I already paid out of pocket to have my dentist fill my daughter's ONE cavity, and will never step food in this practice again. It is so hard to find a dentist that accepts my daughter's CHIP dental insurance, but I'd rather pay out of pocket then give this business my time or attention again since they literally kicked my daughter to the curb. This place literally went downhill. It's a shame b/c we used to love it here.
