My immediate concern was the number of appointments I would need as I lived an hour away from her office. But to my relief, I was able to get all my cavities filled in just 2 visits!!! An amazing, fully staffed office that starts with the front desk receptionists being very cheerful and helpful like nothing i have ever seen, all the way to the assistants and hygienist providing fantastic work and amazing support. Dr. Kalaria does an extraordinary job and treats patients with nothing but respect and always provides enough education so you are both on the same page going through any treatment process. I highly recommend this dentist office it has hands down been the best i have been to thus far.

The first time I saw Dr. Kalaria , my gums were very unhealthy . I had so much inflammation , bleeding and sensitivity in my gums. After three months , inflammation ,bleeding and sensitivity were all gone. She really took care of my gums and thought me how to take care and manage my gums to prevent inflammation/bleeding from reoccurring. Dr. Kalaria is very thorough & caring with dental care !!!! Scheduling is very flexible , they will work on your schedule. Also, the staff were very friendly and excellent with the service . I would not recommend this dentist to anyone . She did a tooth extraction for my son at 15 Saying it is a milk tooth . And now at 17 it is still a gaping hole !! No tooth yet Edit: I visited the doctor today and was told to remove the review as it was misleading the public ! The good part is she did another X-ray which apparently shows that the tooth is still there but has no way to come out till he gets braces. She also showed concern that he does not have to get X-ray exposure again and she would transfer the record to any dentist I list on the transfer of record . But one catch they refused to send the X-ray till I signed another peice of document . So not sure if she really was concerned about him being exposed to another xray again !! That being said she is an extremely nice doc but my experience was bad .

A little over a month ago I was experiencing severe pain in my tooth. I went to see a dentist in South Brunswick that indicated that I would need a root canal. I expected it, but not the price or the experience. That perticular dentist didn't offer anything for the pain and was more focused on conveying the cost which was over 4k. I wasn't impressed so I sought out a different dentist. I was alerted to a aetna discount program that save me a good amount of money and they referred me to American Family Dentistry. My experience has been a great one here. They've been very helpful and detailed with the correction of my tooth and the rest of my teeth. I would refer everyone here.

The first time I saw Dr. Kalaria , my gums were very unhealthy . I had so much inflammation , bleeding and sensitivity in my gums. After three months , inflammation ,bleeding and sensitivity were all gone. She really took care of my gums and thought me how to take care and manage my gums to prevent inflammation/bleeding from reoccurring. Dr. Kalaria is very thorough & caring with dental care !!!! I would not recommend this place. We only went here because of proximity. The office is nice and all.. But I was shocked how they told that my son and husband had way more cavities.. Something like 11 for one of them! We didn't trust that and went back to our old doctor who confirmed that neither of them. Had more than 2. How horrible to give incorrect information like that!. Never going back there!
