When I moved to the area and needed a new dentist, Dr. Edeer and his team welcomed me with open arms. They are extremely thorough in their care and very flexible when it comes to difficult work schedules. They provide insight on how dental health factors into many other health issues and adjust their treatment accordingly. If you love your teeth like I do, you will NOT be disappointed and I know it is done right! I have never had any pain even with as many root canals as I have had. This is a highly professional dental office with exceptional staff that care greatly for your dental and general health. They have state of the art equipmemt and a nice office set up all around. As an example of the exceptional interest shown their patients, I shared with one of the dental hygienists (Eileen) some personal information about a recent medical issue (a back problem that required an epidural steroid shot), out of an abundance of caution (teeth cleaning uses minor topical anesthesia) she took my blood pressure before beginning the service. In short unbeknownst to me my blood pressure had spiked to a life threatening level as a result of a steroid reaction (I had no symptoms). I was hospitalized for two days and it was determined that but for Eileen's intuition to check, I would have had a stroke at best!! Thank you soooo much Eileen and everyone at Aesthetic Smile for always being there for me and my family.

After having my adult braces off I decided to reshape my front teeth. My dentist, at the time, suggested veneers which would give me the shape and color I wanted. We had gone back and forth on the shape multiple times and it became clear to me that I needed a second opinion. I started my research and found a dentist in Millburn with a state of the art waiting room- fireplace and all- who wanted to change my entire smile for a Hollywood look for a very hefty price tag. >$20,000 with all hidden charges for lab fees etc. I remember leaving his office defeated in that I wouldn’t be able to ‘finish’ my teeth and have the confident smile I was looking for. I continued my search again and stumbled upon Dr. Edeer Aesthetic Smile Design. While he didn’t have a huge fireplace in the waiting room- the warmth instead came from his office staff and him as a caring doctor. Still the waiting room is nice but I remember being impressed by his state of the art exam rooms more so than any waiting room. He meticulously checked my teeth and gums for health and used a little toothbrush like camera to take pictures of each tooth individually- something none of the other dentist did. We discussed all my options and he patiently listened to all my concerns. Together we came up with a plan. Together we picked colors. I ended up only needing the 4 veneers as planned. The shape is exactly what I had wanted. I love my smile and I am incredibly happy to have found Dr. Edeer, who in my opinion, is a true artist of dentistry.

Everything was great the first exam. I had much work to get done. However 8 appointments later. I had an procedure every week sometimes twice. I missed one appointment due to work the next I rescheduled. The receptionist called explaining because I had missed two appointments ( understand this is 8 procedures later / root canals to crowns ) they did not want me back. After the rude voice mail all my paperwork was mailed to me. I called trying to explain my position, they wouldn't even listen. I was sent away and basically fired from the office. I have two post setting awaiting crowns to be installed. Thanks for starting surgery and kicking me out 1/3 way through. They were the worst dentist I have dealt with in my life STAY AWAY

I came to his office with missing front teeth, severe infection and in constant pain, with little expectations that he can help as I have had many issues and many other dentists after an auto accident when I was young with braces on. I had a permanent bridge, that always hurt when I ate, and was told that this is how it was going to be, I would get use to it. After 35 years I never got use to it! As soon as I sat in his chair, I just knew this is the dentist that is finally going to help me, he told me exactly what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and with very little pain, he did it!!!!!! I have gone to the dentist regularly for my entire adult life because keeping my teeth and my health is very important to me. When facing knee replacement surgery, my daughter who is in the healthcare field advised me to get a comprehensive dental evaluation to be sure I had no active infection in my mouth which may cause rejection of my new knee. Dr Edeer's office is convenient, clean and comfortable. I was amazed by the technology and the clear explanations that I received. I was shocked and most disappointed that my prior dentist had not uncovered my dental problems. Pain is not always an indicator of trouble. I had the treatment needed to clear the infections prior to surgery. After surgery, I had the restorative work completed. I have TMJ issues and Dr Edeer was able to balance and align my my bite and provide beautiful restorations. Ok, everyone. Go take care of your teeth. This is coming from a person who did not take it seriously when I was younger but now older and a lot wiser, at least dental wise, Dr Edeer and his staff have shown the importance of dental heath. I cannot say enough of how the work they have done on me has been so well done and highly appreciated by myself. I had a wisdom tooth pulled in the military which took 3 hours, a lot of blood and a lot of pain. Dr Edeer took another late bloomer wisdom tooth out just a year ago. It was less than 2 hours, hardly any blood and 2 Advil. No pain whatsoever. Unbelievable. He’s truly gifted. His staff follows suit. Cleanings are quality and very through. Minnie, Eileen and Suzanne. The greatest of staff, hygiene and assistance. I will never lag on my dental work again. This is coming from a 50 plus year old slightly stubborn man who thought he knew everything when it came time for my pun teeth and dental heath. Go. Take care of your mouth and teeth. Five Stars for the best Cosmetic Dentist. About two years ago I needed cosmetic dentistry work done and I searched google and came across a article about the top ten cosmetic dentist in NJ. Dr. Edeer was on that list. So I went ahead and set up a consultation. When we sat down and spoke I knew he was going to do the work right from the start. He was very informative and understanding of my situation and came up with a realistic game plan. Dr. Edeer is a miracle worker. I had an accident in which my front teeth were displaced so badly we feared I would lose them. Dr. Edeer was able to perform a surgery which not only corrected their position but made them look as good if not better than they did before. Not only that, but he stayed five hours after his office officially closed performing the surgery. He was very calm and thoughtful about the entire thing. Months later he performed a root canal on the same tooth, and the veneer he put in looks exactly like my other teeth. It matches so well even I forget which tooth is the 'fake' one. The entire office staff and atmosphere is calming and friendly, which helps tremendously with the dentist anxiety and stress that I get. I have been going to this practice for 10+ years. Unfortunately, I have a very hard bite that has resulted in a number of cracked teeth over the years. 3 root canals and 1 dental implant later, Dr. Edeer and his team are still my dentist of choice. It would be impossible for you distinguish my real teeth from the crowns/fake one. Everyone in the office is professional and they all go to great lengths to ensure that you're comfortable during all procedures. Perfect example - I just had the post for an implant inserted. Procedure took a little over an hour. No pain at all, minimal swelling, and I was "back to normal" within 2 days. They take the time to lay out all the options, always looking out for your long-term health. Even the cracks in my teeth are under control with the use of a custom-fit nighttime mouth guard. I highly recommend Dr. Edeer and his team for all of your dental needs, from your yearly checkup and cleaning, to the more complicated procedures.

I’ve been going to Aesthetic Smile Design for almost 3 years now, and each visit had been a pleasant experience. He is located in the medical arts building which includes ample parking space. The office waiting room is nice, clean and has a soothing atmosphere. The procedure rooms were very clean as well, supplied by state of the art equipment. However, what impressed me the most is the education material on oral hygiene and oral procedures that is featured on the waiting room television. I truly believe that this is an organization that values each of their patient’s health as bad oral health contributes to overall health risks. Being a medical professional, this is a key feature that I look for when entrusting my own health in the hands of other medical professionals. Minnie at the front desk always greets everybody with a smile and is very accomodating. She has all the answers for my insurance and billing questions when I had to change my insurance carrier. When I had to have my wisdom teeth taken out, it made me very nervous. Despite it being a small procedure, it was still surgery. However, Dr. Edeer explained every step in detail and was very thorough with his after care instructions. He also made sure that I experienced little to no pain and provided reassurance during the procedure. He even called me to follow up with me at home to make sure I was okay after a few days after my procedure. Most of my visits were spent with Eileen, the hygienist, as I always go for my routine dental cleaning. Every time I get my teeth cleaned, it feels like I’m in a spa. She uses aromatherapy to decrease stress during procedures to create a comfortable, positive environment. She is very courteous and takes the time to get to know you. She is also a great source of information and you will always learn something new about oral care before you go home. Not to mention she makes your gums and teeth feel like a million bucks after she is done with it! I would like to extend my thanks to Dr. Edeer and his team for keeping me healthy.
