Kept me waiting for about an hour and let in other ppl that came after me . I asked explicitly if that’s ok that I still get in, because I was late. The lady at the desk said yes, that I will be next. Well I wasn’t! Ppl kept getting in bf me. I didn’t expect to wait for so long. This was our first visit to this office and I have to say it was a pleasure to walk in there. Beginning with the ladies at front desk who greeted us with a friendly smile to Dr. DiMaggio, Gina and the gentleman who takes the X-rays; all were truly amazing. They were professional, kind and caring...definitely a thumbs up. Kudos to the team... I would definitely recommend this place if you need to get dental care...you will have a great experience!

This place is a windmill. I brought my kids in for a visit the Ped Dentist was in there for 3 minutes to tell me my 8 year old needed an extraction, but he was so busy between running in andnout of the other 10 rooms he wouldn’t give us the time of day. The tech working there was persuading my child to say the tooth was hurting so he could address it right then and there. It didn’t happen! The following days after I had an appointment, when I had arrived with my 5 yr old son, the receptionist said he cant go in with me for a tooth cleaning and I would have to reschedule. How upsetting is that! Kids are not an accessory and you cant just get rid of them because the dentist refuses to see otherwise. You people should be ashamed of yourselves! You might as well put up a sign NO KIDS ALLOWED. Im absolutely disgusted with this place.

Giving one star coz I can't give zero. Had been scheduled for Endodontics to have my root canal examined. The appointment was at 10:45 but till 12:45 they were not sure that when doctor can see me. Wasted 2 hrs for no reason.

This place is great. Great service and the dentists are actually nice to the staff. I bring my whole family here and I have yet to meet a dentist or staff member who wasn't kind. Much better than their other location in Old Bridge where everyone is rude to each other and your treated like cattle.

Worse place ever. They are the worse in submitting for approvals with insurance. There appointments are scheduled where you wait at least an hour before being called. No one knows about your chart or what's going on. xrays are repeated due to not being done right the first time. This place is the worst and unorganized place ever. I do not recommend it to anyone. I should have listened to others about this place. I heard terrible things and bad service not so friendly.

I left Hazlet Family dental to come to Aberdeen family dental and I couldn't been happier! Even though they are affiliated with Hazlet Family Dental they are nothing like them, in a good way! The staff and dentists are so kind and understanding! My husband had major tooth pain and Hazlet wouldn't do anything for him, we went to Aberdeen dental and he left with answers and no pain! My entire family and children go here and I don't see us changing anytime soon!

I arrived on time and as usual I was seen within a few minutes.I'm 57 and for the first time in my life I do not dread going to the dentist.They hire all the right people and delegate tasks to add to the efficiency of the office. Right away to the dental assistant for initial visit consult/ ex rays followed immediately by dental hygienist for cleaning ,gum exam recommendations and finish with dentist for follow up exam and suggested follow up.A pleasure to visit.

Very mean staff & we had an appointment @ 12 but still waiting @ 12.40......all the receptionists are always mean. I took my aunt three times up there. I also took an appointment one time & I was charged more than the price I was told. Only one dental assistant is nice.They can't even find my aunt's xrays.

All my life going to the dentist was a problem for me , as soon as I stepped in Aberdeen Family Dental they made me feel comfortable starting with the people running the front desk all the way too the dentist himself everybody is very professional and caring also I had a cleaning done by there hygienist Gina who went beyond her needs to make It as simple and comfortable for me , My next Visit for a cleaning I will be sure to ask for Gina too do It !!! Friendly professional staff. Dr. Zimnes worked with my specialist to get all invasive work done within the medical clearance time period. Would highly recommended to my friends and co-workers. FOLLOW UP TO MY LAST REVIEW i just had my 6 month follow-up and i was concerned about wether i needed any gum work. i was checked and told me that i was fine. clearly they don't just do work for the sake of charging you. so if you are looking for a honest friendly dental place you will do no better than Aberdeen family dental

Had a terrible expirence with an old Dentist, Depika Shah from Holmdel Nj.. I had her fax over My X-Rays to Aberdeen Family Dental.. Upon arriving at Aberdeen, I was greeted with all smiles. Dr Zimnes read my X-Ray and informed me that Dipika was going to give me a crown when all I needed was a minor fix to my filling. I can't believe how amazing Zimnes is. If you go here, ask for her. I just had a cavity filled by her. Actually I'm still numb! Haha. But wow I have never had such an amazing expirence at the dentist. Who likes the dentist? No one. But honestly she makes me not fear it anymore. Thank you so much Dr. Zimnes

I will never go back to this place. Dr. Helene V. Zimnes is a horrible dentist! She told me I had six cavities ( look at her reviews from her private office in Eatontown. This is common). One filling cracked within a week and then the other I came in her office with pain once again- upset and she denied seeing me. She said she was too busy. She did bad work and then refused to follow up on her own work. I asked why because the sign says walk-ins welcomes and I was told not today- and they told me to go to the Hazlet office. The receptionist was helpful. I am not sure if his name- he was the only male worker up there. When you are in the chair she doesn’t acknowledge you instead she talks to her assistant about her receptionists engagement ring- she is not patient focused and her conversations must distract her from her work because I have had to take off 5 days of work to fix her mistakes. Please see a real dentist- these dental clinics are awful. I cannot wait until my insurance changes in January.

I have been going here for a few years, it’s been pretty smoothe considering I never had any real dilemmas that needed to be handled I’d go get my cleanings and that was it. Once I had my first issue it was very clear that there are certain people you can trust in their abilities and some that are simply incompetent at their job, Andrew was an absolute disaster, after asking multiple times and explaining in detail what my concerns were he still gave beliw average service. Waited almost an hr to be seen, just a waste of time dealing with him, never again.

Exposing Corruption

Do NOT trust Dr Zimnes! She destroyed my teeth and gums intentionally bc I called them out on insurance scams. She drilled a heart in my tooth, drilled my gums away, drilled the enamel off my teeth, she filled 6 teeth that did not have cavities and filled them incorrectly so that they now have cavities that can’t be seen on X-ray. Do NOT trust her with your teeth or health. She destroyed my teeth without thinking twice. She literally removed my gums and dug gouges in my teeth laughing and smiling with the dental assistant. She doesn’t seem to have any fear about losing her license. I’ve talked to multiple people who she did things to. Neglecting to put posts In Peoples teeth so the tooth breaks and falls out. Filling teeth incorrectly so you need a root canal. (Verifiable by yelp or google) . Be careful there are So many dishonest dentists today!!!! Be smart! Report her to the dental board!!!! I see she is still at it since someone posted about her Just the other day that she is still lying to fill healthy teeth, and filling them wrong. I reported her to the dental board and Wht do you know her sister applied to work at the board of dentistry. “Asked that her name be forwarded to the boards commission to be a dental competency assessment consultant”.... wondering if it’s so she can try to make sure Helene Zimnes keeps her license. REPORT her and record all your visits with that dentist office. You might need it later! The more people who report her the better! She needs to lose her license! What are the odds of her sister looking to work for the board of dentistry Right after she was reported for assaulting me with dirty equipment from the patient before and drilling my mouth apart. Be wise!!! Find a different dentist. Save your teeth and your health! Look up Nikki Lynn (Moral Compass) on Facebook. It’s a picture of the heart she drilled in my tooth! Choose your dentist wisely!!!! After reviewing records it seems they fill huge fillings in very small cavities, or fill healthy teeth, and fill them incorrectly creating recurring visits.. My kids teeth all had problems as well from Dr DiMaggio. Check your xrays... make sure you had a cavity at all! They have the same “dentists” at both Allied and Aberdeen..... There are better dentists in different towns. I would Avoid these people!!!!. Message me on Nikki Lynn (Moral Compass) I will give you a list. I know insurance poses an issue sometimes... The fact that Dr. Zimnes was reported to the dental board and she is still doing the same stuff to other clients who mentioned it is quite concerning. !!! :) If you have Medicaid I would make sure no one is trying to use you to make extra money by doing your teeth incorrectly, forcing you to come back a lot.. I have a plethora of conversations with people they damaged and every single time I ask “can I ask you, did you have Medicaid when they did this to you” the answer is ALWAYS Yes!!!!! Just be careful!!!! Choose your dentist wisely.. Don’t trust without checking your xrays yourself! Make sure you have them point out the cavities, and make sure they’re real cavities not “shadows” bc they fill shadows and call them cavities. Good luck!!!!.

So unorganized when it comes to approvals from the insurance company. Doesn't care or respect if you are suffering a pain. There was papers missing when the sent my authorization request for a crown and overtime I called I was getting a bad attitude over the phone saying it's my insurance company problem and when I called my insurance company I was told that authorization is denied because the dentist didn't sent the proper documents. If you really have a problem with your teeth and want it to get resolved without being suffering for weeks stay away from this place

Insurance Scammers My wife and I, after moving to the neighborhood went for our biannual dental check-up and cleaning. This is fully covered by our Delta Dental plan. To our surprise, two weeks later we received a bill for $180. Upon calling them they did X-rays which weren't required nor consented to by us. They were adamant and refused to budge, the shocking part was that my wife was pregnant and didn't have any X-rays performed. They inspected her file and didn't find any X-rays performed and then reluctantly waived her portion. We checked with our insurance and they confirmed that they had not corrected the record despite this incident. This is a sleazy practice and will do whatever it takes to steal from you. Only reason for two stars is that the actual dental professionals were decent and did an OK job.

Dear Aberdeen Family Dental, I would like to thank you for such an amazing experience during my first visit with you guys. I know that sounds crazy but for somebody who is petrified of anything that has to do with people working on their teeth, Aberdeen Family Dental is the reason I will no longer have anxiety about going to the dentist. Yes I had great experience. Doctor took immediate action to file appeal to insurance. I am sorry to say same paper I had given to your office to file appeal and did not get any response. I had been calling them and would get a reply every time that doctor is busy. On April24th when I told the guy that doctor should file appeal early he put me on hold and never came back on line.

They are a SCAM, MONEY HUNGRY dental office: Do NOT waste your time. They are money hungry and try to get as much money out of patients as possible. I took my family there as new patients and on all of our comprehensive exams we DID NOT GET A DENTAL CLEANING!! (which is included in the exam); but quickly charged my insurance for it. My daughter got only a polish by the hygienist (which based on them its considered a "cleaning"). As per my husband and myself they said we "needed a deep cleaning" and therefore will not get a regular cleaning. We would have to wait more than 3 months to actually get any type of cleaning at all. Very upsetting but unfortunately offices like this one exist everywhere; its up to us as patients to be diligent and informed of our rights so that dental professionals don't take advantage.

Total waste of my time! I was assigned to this office through my insurance company. I called and made an appointment and explained I was in a lot of pain and had a tooth that most likely needed a root canal. When I arrived for my appointment, they let me know they were only taking xrays that day and nothing else. (Ok fine, i understand I was a first time patient). The next appointment they had for my root canal was over a month away! I explained I was in pain and couldn’t wait over a month to get this taken care of. So they called another office and offered me an appointment that still wasn’t until the end of February, again, just about a month away. Sure enough that weekend I was in terrible pain. Tylenol and Advil weren’t even taking the edge off. I could feel it in my cheekbone and ear. I called them again and they referred me to another office who didn’t have an appointment for another three weeks and couldn’t take me as an emergency. Again I called them back!!! Begging for an appointment and they said they would call me back in a few mins. Never did. Needless to say, I called my insurance and had them assign me to another dentist that had never even met me and he stayed late for me to do a root canal that very same night. So I hope you’re not in pain when you visit this office, cause your sh*t out of luck!

This place is run like a freaken McDonalds. The only nice person in this place is Dr. Helene V. Zimnes, DMD. She currently has a private practice of her very own at 15 White Steer in Eatontown, NJ 07724. If you desperately need somebody to casually look at a tooth for you, go to this dentist's private practice, rather than Aberdeen Family Dental. Aberdeen Family Dental is a corperate junky chain dental office that tries to get you away from your money as quickly as possible. I went to this place once for the $69 new patient welcome package and got a Flouride treatment on top of it for $49, what a rip off!!!!! I could give myself Flouride without any of these costs!!!!! They only try to whreel you in with the $69 welcoming package, which includes a check-up, professional cleaning, full set of x-rays, and oral cancer screening (originally $250). An emergency visit for the dentist just to look at something is $117. What a rip off!!!!!! I just had a lot of radiation and just want the dentist to look at my teeth visually this Christmas. I just had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted. This dental practice refuses to do what I want. With so much competition, why screw around????? Go else where!!!!! These people suck!!!!!

Cassie, the assistant is sweet and so is Shannon, the hygienist. Even the new front scheduler unlike the previous one is very nice. Can't say enough things about this place.
