Best Dental Care I have ever had and a Professional, Caring Staff. Dr. Brian Hunter has worked with me to correct a major dental issue. Dr. Hunter is competent and up to date with the latest techniques and procedures. His approach is fast and painless. Dr. Hunter takes time to explain my options and work around my schedule. I've been a patient at Portsmouth Dental Studios since it's inception. The dental hygienists are exceptional and are always aware of my "sensitive areas" during my cleanings and make me as comfortable as possible. I've been taken in at a moments notice when I've had problems in the past with my teeth. I'm listened to and always cared for with patience and professionalism. When you find a fantastic dentist you stay loyal. Portsmouth Dental Studios is the type of place you'll never leave after you've had your first visit.

Shannon and Patty are great. Really nice and make you feel comfortable. Diane in the front I've also known for years. The "new" hires are well-chosen as well, all seem very interested in making you feel at home. I've been going here so long, they feel like family. Always take the time to explain if you ask questions. Finally, the only dentist I see there now (the other retired) is Dr Hunter. He is very soft spoken and explains what he's going to do, and why if you want. I recommend this office highly, and I've been to quite a few over the years.

This is the premier place for cleaning your chompers. Seriously, it's light years beyond any dentist office I've been to in my life. The hygienists and doctor are the best. Consistency and professionalism are huge, because the hygienists have all been there over 15 years (they tell me it's a great place to work)!

I am very happy with all aspects of this practice. I actually first came to the practice when my previous dentist was on vacation and referred me to them. The office staff is personable and helpful. The hygienists and assistants are very experienced and pleasant. I see Dr. Hunter and he is very skilled (I have way too much experience with dental work...) and professional. The office is state of the art and very responsive if you need to be seen unexpectedly.

This is the worst place to go ever!!!when I went to my new place they said I had 5 cavities! And the old place t said those r not cavities they just look that why. Did nothing about them, they did not even tell me to get them filled or anything! If u need a dentist go to a different one

When I moved to Portsmouth I still flew back to Texas a few times a year to my dentist there. When a crown came off I asked friends who to see here for this emergency. The recommendation was PDS. I went and everything was fixed quickly. This is a very professional practice and I have changed to PDS for all my dental services.
