Dr. Kirschner & each staff member are wonderfl! They really care about the comfort of the patient. Had to have a (usually) painful procedure procedure done and each time I was always asked if I had any pain during the entire procedure. I had the same procedure done 30 years ago (without) any novacain. OUCH Not this time...very minimal pain if any.

I came into the office yesterday for a routine cleaning. As soon as I walked in I was met with a warm welcome, there wasn't a wait so I headed right back to the chair. I had x-rays taken, a painless process, quick and 100% digital. Chelsea, the dental hygienist, who took care of me was wonderful; she did great work and was quite personable. We did our best to talk about skiing while she worked (she could talk fine, I on the other hand struggled at times). Dr. Kirschner came in for the examination and gave me a clean bill of health. They gave me a dental care package (toothbrush, toothpaste, and of course, floss) and I was on my way. The staff at Plymouth General Dentistry are professional, efficient and best of all fun to be around. We had some laughs, I got my teeth cleaned, all around had a stellar day at the dentist. If you care to enjoy a pleasant dental experience and hate dirty teeth, this is the place for you.

It's been a while since I've been to the dentist. I called a few dentists' in the area, and chose this office, as they were recommended by fellow friends at PSU, and we're the most easy-going on the phone. The front desk staff was very friendly, and the waiting room had a nice coffee machine, and some iced cold lemon water (which felt refreshing on this 85 degree day). The first person I saw was the hygienist, who was very bubbly and reassuring. After my cleaning, Dr.Kirschner came in, and introduced herself. Unlike other dentists I remember, she was very laid back, even funny, as she explained how important the cleaning, and exam were. After she found something during her exam, she handed me a small handheld viewer, that allowed me to see, exactly, what she saw. Although she had spotted something of concern, she did not pressure me to treat it immediately, and, instead, told me that we could watch it, without any harm, in the interim. All in all, the office had a very friendly vibe, and a pleasant, "home-like" atmosphere, and they seemed interested in seeing me back, in the future, rather than rushing to do work on my first visit. I will be telling my co-workers, who recommended this dentist, we're right on the money, and I think others who might be dental phobic, will feel comfortable at this office.

I had to write this letter to Plymouth General Dentistry recently for work they did in 2012 & 2013 This letter comes to you awfully late but, I have been very busy working. This concerns the crown procedures that were done on my lower left molar. After it was installed, two weeks passed and I began to smell an odor. Soon after this, the crown popped off. The crown smelled rank and I noticed most of the adhesive was still attached to the underside. I remember that I had to scrub and soak the crown for three days to get rid of the smell. I came to your office, by appointment, to have it reattached. The doctor ground my existing tooth a little, applied adhesive and reattached it. She adjusted the bite by grinding the good tooth above the crown. I thought it strange that she didn't remove the old adhesive on the crown but, realized that I'm not the doctor. Eating dinner, a week later, the crown pooped out, again. It was at this point that I realized I would have to take control of it myself (as I don't have the time to go back and forth to Plymouth). I bought some temp/adhesive from Wallgreens, grabbed my Dremil, and proceeded to scuff the old adhesive w/ a ball shaped cutting bit. I cleaned both surfaces w/ hydrogen peroxide and applied the crown to my tooth. Pretty good fit but, still not quite right. Good enough... It lasted a week before it popped off so, I did the procedure again. I knew, however, that I needed a professional grade adhesive. I looked online and found a good, two part permanent dental crown, adhesive and installed the crown. After a couple of weeks I had the money to purchase it. As I was prepping the crown for reinstallation, the entire ball of old adhesive came off of the silver coated underside. Wow, I thought, this is the original crown, as ordered. I cleaned both surfaces with peroxide, mixed the two part adhesive, and installed the crown with absolutely beautiful results. Between my wife and myself, we have spent thousands of dollars at you office and have always been happy with the results....I now have a debt collector bugging me to pay a balance on a job poorly done.

I had cracked a front tooth and had called her office immediately. To my great relief, they fit me into the schedule that day, since the break was in the front and clearly visible when I spoke and smiled. The women in the office were nice and assured me that I would soon be looking back to normal. I have had fillings and cleanings by Dr. Kirschner and her staff so I knew I was in excellent hands. When I was in the chair, Dr. Kirschner explained everything to me and gave me a mirror as she pointed out what needed to be done. Lisa, the doctor's assistant, reviewed the plan and options with me. Everything was transparent and up front, so I was confident there would be no additional charges. When the crown that Dr. Kirschner made for me came back from the lab, she cemented it in my mouth. I was very happy with the look and feel. The color was a perfect match and there's no way anyone would think it was a crown. Thank you, Dr. Kirschner and staff. I highly recommend this practice and am reminded of their exceptional work every time I smile.

Best dentist in the whole world. Exceptional customer service from every single employee. Dr. Kirschner is kind, thorough, and fair. You'll walk out of there with a smile. She never pushes you to get work done you don't need, she doesn't scold you or make you feel bad for not flossing, and she is realistic about where people are coming from with their dental care. She takes care of you and so do all the hygienists and technician. The environment there is very comfortable. Good lighting. Contemporary music. Complimentary water, coffee, and tea. They'll even give you a tablet with headphones so you can listen to music while you have a tooth being drilled. I've never ever enjoyed a dentist until I met Dr. Kirschner and I highly recommend her to everyone.

I joined the practice a few years ago as I was in need of some restorative work. Just recently I needed to see a specialist in Concord to rule out a potential root canal (always a joyful experience!). The endodontist asked me who provided the restorative work on my teeth as "she had never seen such careful and quality dentistry". I knew from that time on that Dr. Kirschner was the best. All of the PGD staff are welcoming, warm, and always kind. I actually enjoy going to the dentist as Dr. Kirschner always goes out of her way to strike up conversation while the hygentist cleans your teeth. The office is immaculate and very comfortable. I highly suggest Plymouth General Dentistry to anyone who lives/works in central NH. Even worth the drive from Concord!

I honestly never write reviews but I just finished getting my teeth cleaned and I can honestly say this is one of the best dentist offices I have ever been to. The moment you walk in the atmosphere is very comforting. You are greeted by the staff who all appear very friendly. Denise was my dental hygienist. She was excellent and very kind. She cleaned my teeth and explained all that she was going to do. Dr. Kirschner was very knowledgeable and so sweet. She takes her time explaining things and really wants to hear from her patient. I love getting my teeth cleaned and this was by far my best experience. I highly recommend this office for anyone who is looking for a new dentist.

She never pushes you to get work done you don't need, she doesn't scold you or make you feel bad for not flossing, and she is realistic about where people are coming from with their dental care. She takes care of you and so do all the hygienists and technician. The environment there is very comfortable. Good lighting. Contemporary music. Complimentary water, coffee, and tea. They'll even give you a tablet with headphones so you can listen to music while you have a tooth being drilled. I joined the practice a few years ago as I was in need of some restorative work. Just recently I needed to see a specialist in Concord to rule out a potential root canal (always a joyful experience!). The endodontist asked me who provided the restorative work on my teeth as "she had never seen such careful and quality dentistry". I knew from that time on that Dr. Kirschner was the best. All of the PGD staff are welcoming, warm, and always kind. "It's never too late to have a happy childhood"...at the dentist! I'm ashamed to admit it but I'm still, at my more 'mature' age, a nervous wreck when preparing for my time in the dentist's chair. Sweaty palms, tunnel vision, trying to find excuses to cancel...all of it. My childhood experiences in the dentist's office were full of cavities, shaming and tears. Not exactly a set-up for success or motivation in finding a dentist with whom I felt comfortable as an adult. I've been around for several owners of this place and I have to say Dr. K is definitely the best dentist I have ever had. The whole office is welcoming and full of smiles. I love walking into a place where everyone knows my name and actually remember tid bits about my life. It makes it a lot less painful in the waiting room! They also let you listen to your own music with a set of headphones just in case you hate the sound of the drill! Never would I imagine using the word 'compassionate' when it comes to describing a dentist. Being a child of the 50's I do not have very good memories of dental visits. One year ago, I couldn't imagine going back to the dentist, let alone write a review about one. Everything changed when I walked into this place. Full of nerves and wondering what kind of painful horror I would go through once the exam started, I was shaking. I put off any sort of dental related activity for nearly 10 years after a horrible experience at a nearby office. The closest I came to going to the dentist was visiting the tooth care aisle at the grocery store to buy a new toothbrush. That all changed after Plymouth General Dentistry was recommended to me by my family. My parents are patients there, and they raved about the place. From the first time I called for an appointment to the day I walked through the door as a new patient, they were just beyond wonderful. They were so welcoming, happy, and outgoing- I was wondering if that "happy gas" had leaked through the air ducts or something- they were THAT awesome! At my first appointment, I was still a bundle of nerves. Thoughts of what COULD happen ran through my head. I thought "these people are going to laugh and suggest I get all of my teeth pulled and I'd be adding Polident to my grocery list"... but it was exactly the opposite. I was treated like royalty. They were kind, caring, and compassionate. They even commented how beautiful my teeth were. Beautiful? I couldn't even remember the last time I went to the dentist- the last time I was at one, it was full of painful poking around my teeth with the devil's hook tool, lectures about flossing, and everything negative that could ever come up at an appointment. But hey, I'll take the compliment from this place! I liked them already! At that time, my nerves subsided and the shakes disappeared. Fast forward to 9 months later, and I just enjoyed my third appointment at Plymouth General Dentistry- and I now know these awesome people by name. They ask the normal stuff like "how's the family" and "how's work going" but then a zinger- "how's Sammy doing? She's way too cute"... My dog. They know my dog's name. And they remember my dog's name. Sure, she's adorable and just plain awesome, but for these great people to remember her name and ask about her? Simply amazing. Instantly, I feel as if I'm hanging out with my family. And they truly are an extended family- everyone is so nice, down-to-earth and low key. Now I am addicted to flossing and dental care- far from the times where the closest I ever got to the dentist was a new toothbrush and a fresh new tube of Crest. I even added them to my Holiday card list. Yes, these people are THAT awesome. Bottom line- you deserve a practice like Plymouth General Dentistry. Everyone does. Dr. K and her outstanding team genuinely care about YOU. Sure, they care about your teeth and dental health quite a bit, but first and foremost, they care about YOU. The dental care aisle at the grocery store my appear to care and they do offer a great product, but do they ask you about your dog? No. They don't have these large ads in the newspaper or on TV, but seriously- does marketing help you to remind you to floss daily? The staff of extended Aunts and Cousins at Plymouth General Dentistry sure do. But they won't lecture you if you don't, or if you miss a few days. And that's what it's all about. Take it from their patients- and not some catchy tagline on the Weather Channel: this place truly is the best. I am a non-paid spokeswoman :) - call for an appointment and see for yourself- it's the dental SPA on NH. And guess what? But hey, I'll take the compliment from this place! I liked them already! At that time, my nerves subsided and the shakes disappeared. Fast forward to 9 months later, and I just enjoyed my third appointment at Plymouth General Dentistry- and I now know these awesome people by name. They ask the normal stuff like "how's the family" and "how's work going" but then a zinger- "how's Sammy doing? She's way too cute"... My dog. They know my dog's name. And they remember my dog's name. Sure, she's adorable and just plain awesome, but for these great people to remember her name and ask about her? Simply amazing. Instantly, I feel as if I'm hanging out with my family. And they truly are an extended family- everyone is so nice, down-to-earth and low key. Now I am addicted to flossing and dental care- far from the times where the closest I ever got to the dentist was a new toothbrush and a fresh new tube of Crest. I even added them to my Holiday card list. Yes, these people are THAT awesome. Bottom line- you deserve a practice like Plymouth General Dentistry. Everyone does. Dr. K and her outstanding team genuinely care about YOU. Sure, they care about your teeth and dental health quite a bit, but first and foremost, they care about YOU. The dental care aisle at the grocery store my appear to care and they do offer a great product, but do they ask you about your dog? No. They don't have these large ads in the newspaper or on TV, but seriously- does marketing help you to remind you to floss daily? The staff of extended Aunts and Cousins at Plymouth General Dentistry sure do. But they won't lecture you if you don't, or if you miss a few days. And that's what it's all about. Take it from their patients- and not some catchy tagline on the Weather Channel: this place truly is the best. I am a non-paid spokeswoman :) - call for an appointment and see for yourself- it's the dental SPA on NH. And guess what? It really doesn't hurt to go to the dentist... at least it doesn't hurt at this place! THANK YOU, DR K and TEAM! You guys ROCK!

The professionalism and care that can read by any numerous reviews are an accurate portrayal of the business. They truly do care about what you want as opposed just seeing money walk through the door. The only time I left slightly unhappy was when I saw the figurehead projection of my own neglect, and even then I think if I had gone to a different dentist I would've have continued the neglect instead of fixing them. I couldn't be happier the treatments I've gotten so far. I'm actually happy going to dentist because I feel we're working together towards the same goal. Would highly recommend to anyone.

They also remember me and truly care about me--they remember details of my life and ask me questions when we run into each other in public. When I was visiting a friend in Plymouth, New Hampshire about a month ago, my friend and I went to a nice restaurant and I ended up chipping my tooth. I was looking for urgent dental care, so I could go back to my parents without them knowing I had chipped a tooth. I had looked on google for dentists in the area, and I came across this office. I really liked their website and their Facebook, so I called and decided to give it a try. I called and let them know that I had to get in urgently because I was going back home but I wanted my tooth fixed. The staff were nice enough to squeeze me in and had me in there he next day. When I walked into the office, I was greeted from the very friendly front desk staff, and I sat down to enjoy a cup of Keurig hot chocolate. I felt so warm and comforted, and within 10 minutes the staff took me in. I might Dr. Kirschner, who was a very very friendly and sweet person. Dr. Kirschner seemed to have a lot of experience, and was very detailed in the procedure she was going to do. She was very gentle and very helpful in every step of the day. As she was fixing my tooth, I had no pain at all, and felt very comfortable and safe in her chair, by her side. The fees were also very reasonable, and I was very happy with this dental experience. I have been too many dentists in my life, and my mom has forced me to many, but I wouldn't have to be forced to go to this office again, because I enjoyed my experience. Too bad that I don't live close by, otherwise Dr. kirschner would be my regular dentist. I recommend everyone looking for a dentist to come here and enjoy the experience!
