Dr Swanson is the best dentist I've ever had. He is compassionate & caring and explains everything step by step. I like Dr Swanson & the rest of the staff so much that it's the only place I'll go even though I moved to Dracut MA. I drive over an hour to get there because of the amazing work they do. Comfortable atmosphere, Pauline at the front desk is very accommodating. I can't say enough about them.

I had to make sure my teeth were still intact in my ripe old age. I have always been afraid to see a dentist even though I have taken good care of my teeth. I found Newmarket dental to be very accommodating for the reasons I didn't like the Dentist before I met Nate Swanson. They found three small cavities which if left to continue could have been very bad for me later in life. I wanted to try to see what getting a cavity filled was like so they let me get just one done to see what that was like. I found the whole procedure to be quite painless and even relaxing. This was done with a warm smile from all the staff. I scheduled a follow up visit and I am happy to report that my mouth is now completely cavity free and I will continue to work with this wonderful dental office. Thanks Dr Nate and Newmarket Dental

My family and I have been going here for years. Pauline, the hygienists and Dr. Swanson make the trip to the dentist painless and carefree. Frankly it feels like visiting family because everyone is so friendly and remembers you. Dr. Swanson always discusses your options if any issues arise and explains things in an easier to understand manner. His expertise and attention to detail is amazing! Their new location in Newmarket is great and features free, ample parking. If you are a Green Alliance member, they offer a 5% discount.

I take my 4 year old daughter here and she loves it! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. "Nate" is great with kids. And she gets to pick a small toy out of a box after her appointment. She also loves to get her new toothbrush at her visit. I will be getting my first checkup with them in September and trust that they will be very professional. I probably won't get a toy though.

Dr. Nate is a very intelligent and interesting guy. But most importantly for the sake of this review, he is a truly honest and skilled master of dentistry. I recently had spent some quality time in one of his top of the line dental chairs as he quite literally saved one of my teeth. I had been a bit stubborn and allowed a simple cavity (that Dr. Nate found promptly many months prior) take over a large portion of one of my molars. He worked diligently to save the tooth, and I can happily say many months later that all seems very well. Bottom line - great guy, great dentist and I would recommend him to anyone.

I love this office! I heard about them from a friend in Durham, and haven't ever regretted taking that friend's advice! They have a couple nights they're open late so I don't have to take time off from work and they've always run on schedule and have been as accommodating as possible. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the doctors are always willing to answer any questions I've had whether it was regarding prices or the pros and cons of white fillings versus silver. They've also been great about addressing any concerns I've had - like "will all my teeth fall out?!" (no) and "I don't want to feel ANYTHING when I get this filling" (I didn't). Not to mention that they are up on the times - I can get my appointment reminders emailed or texted to me if I don't want to receive a call.

Dr. Nate Swanson and his entire staff are beyond amazing. I had a neglected, troublesome wisdom tooth that needed immediate attention extracted painlessly and quickly , they even had me laughing. Beautiful office and super affordable. I've had worse experiences with freaking cleanings in the past. I cannot thank you enough for making this happen. Such a relief.

I would recommend Newmarket Dental to every person with teeth! We only get two sets of teeth, and one set will fall out no matter how well we take care of them, so picking the right dentist to help us take care of the second set is paramount. I used to have a fairly significant fear of going to the dentist due to a few rough experiences in the chair with the wrong guy holding the drill, but since beginning to go to Newmarket Dental about 3 years ago, my outlook as completely changed. The entire staff is excellent, and anytime I'm there, I feel taken care of and as if I'm among friends who want to ensure I get the best care possible. I guess what I'm trying to say is: If Dentists were movie stars, Doctor Swanson would be Daniel Day Lewis because he is the real deal!

Always a pleasant dental experience with Dr Swanson! I am very particular about who I let near my teeth and have never lacked confidence in Dr Swanson's abilities. I greatly appreciate that he listens to me and allows me to make an informed decision. I'm adverse to having tons of x-rays done and he has been very sensitive to that. The new office is gorgeous, clean and easy to get to. Staff are always happy and kind. I live 45 minutes away but have no hesitation in making the drive!

If you’re looking for a stodgy doc with elevator music in the operatories you should continue your search. Old people like me, the young and even the infants will not be disappointed, and will likely be delighted.

I have found that it is my responsibility to make an amendment to my review as since Dr. Swanson has very graciously and nicely further explained to me exactly what went into his decisions. He obviously does care about his patients and it was unfair of me to make assumptions that I didn't know to be 100 percent true. There was not a lot about the teeth that were flagged for my daughter that was explained to me in depth. There wasn't much of a treatment plan that was shared with me. I also do still feel that he wasn't careful enough with my daughters baby teeth. However, was very quick to get her referral to a location that could take care of her and was very concerned about choosing the right place for her. Her new doctor has said that if there is a cavity in a baby tooth it will go bad very quickly and makes sense for it to have abscessed the way it did in that time frame if it was a cavity when she was seen by Dr. Swanson to begin with. This makes me think that it was a cavity but maybe too small to tell which is another point her new dentist made. Dr. Swanson felt at that time it wasn't completely clear if it was a cavity and so didn't want to do work on her that was unnecessary. I have not ever really had oral health issues and didn't know what to ask or what to think. His focus was what he knew to definitely be a cavity that he took care of nicely and was noted by her new doctor. He reached out to me to make sure that my concerns were addressed which is why I am amending this review. It's very hard to be a parent and have to trust someone else to care for your child in any way and when she had trouble, I felt angry that there wasn't anything I could do for her for her pain. If you give Dr. Swanson a try ask a lot of questions and if you have concerns it turns out that he is someone you can talk to.

I've been a patient with Dr. Swanson and Newmarket Dental for years. They continuously impress me with the quality of their treatment and care. They're also the only dentist I've ever been to that is conscientious of my budget as much as my oral health. Dr. Swanson is always candid about good/better/best scenarios for treatment and includes me in the decision making process for the treatment. (I also love the overall environment here... There's always music and smiles.. even for my 8:30am appointments.) 5 Stars. I love this place.

I've been seeing him since he started the Practice in Newmarket. The staff is excellent as well. The new location has easy access and plenty of parking.
