First time visitor and so far so good :) Mandy was my hygienist and she did a thorough job on my teeth cleaning and she has a great attitude and sense of humor. Her office nickname seems perfectly suited to her! Very limited time with Dr. H this time. But if first impressions are anything, I think I've found the right dentist. I'd also like to make sure those five stars also include the front office staff, all of whom had nice smiles for the new patient, prompt attention to greeting, scheduling, and check-out -- all with a smile and friendly words.

Jamie is our regular hygienist and she does an outstanding job as well as being very friendly I recently had a new crown put in and the entire procedure was painless . Kelly, Dr H's assistant is very nice and makes sure you are comfortable throughout the procedure. Dr H himself is very friendly and an outstanding dentist. The waiting room is very nice, almost like being in a really nice study. They are always on time so you don't get to spend much time relaxing. In my 56 years this is the best dental practice I have been to and would highly recommend them.

I recently had work done with Dr. H, when the time came to give a Novocain shot to the front upper gum I tensed just waiting for that sharp pain...but....it never came! Dr H was able to give that dreaded shot with such minimal discomfort (when he said "ok, a little pinch" that's all it was!) that I was shocked!! He did some other work as well that day (replacement crown) and I have to say it was the most pleasant dental experience ever! I also have to add that Dr. H has the best staff, they are kind and caring. I won't be so nervous to have dental work done anymore. Thank you Dr. H!

Great experience, (as great as it can be) everything was done in one sitting. I am a cash paying patient as well and they work well with you regarding costs. Over the years I have referred multiple people to the practice and though the dentist has changed over the years the staff has remained which says a lot that supports that the focus remains to be patient care.

As most people I've always hated going to the dentist. I finally had to go and found Dr H. I've always dreaded cleanings, because of past experience with bleeding gums and fear of the pick. Jamie C was my hygienist and she could not possibly have been better. She was gentle and thoughtful. No bleeding gums, she was cautious with the pic, and explained everything perfectly. I'm almost looking forward to my next cleaning. She's the best.

Recently my coworkers were complaining about having to go to the dentist even for routine checkups. I asked what was so bad about it when mostly all you get is a cleaning and a checkup? They all remarked that their mouths are so sore after the cleaning that it makes them hate going. Only then did I remember that I felt the same way at one time about the cleanings. I have been using this practice for 19 years- all the way back to when Dr. Covey owned it and my hygienist, Mandy, is so good that I completely forgot that the dentist hurts! Of course, Dr. H is great, too, although I haven't needed much beyond the routine stuff. When I have, though, he has been top notch, too!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this practice, dating all the way back to Dr. Covey for regular dentist visits and Dr. Connelly, who did amazing veneer work for me. Dr. H is amazing and I love his professionalism and positive attitude. I also appreciate his technology so that I could get a crown within an hour and not have to leave work for extra visits. My hygienist Jamie is the best and the staff is always kind and fun. Best dental practice around. 2018: Needed a regular cleaning and informed Tori that I would need clearance for my upcoming surgery in order to minimize any risk of infection. She took the information very seriously and spoke with Dr. H, and they both decided a deeper clean would be the best option for me. Tori took the time to make an extra appointment AFTER closing hours to do a deep clean on two separate Friday afternoons so that I would be ready and at the lowest risk possible prior to my surgery. I am so grateful for the care and concern that Tori took, and for the support of Dr. H. I can't say enough how much I appreciate their professionalism and kindness.

Mandy is a lot of fun even while working on cleaning my teeth. I had to leave the dentistry for awhile but returned because of the great dental care I get by everyone there now compared to other experiences. The office staff is helpful and cheerful as well. Had a minor unplanned problem -- cracked tooth unexpectedly and needed attention right away. Got me in for an appointment the day I needed -- almost right away and fixed me up same day. Incredible skill and patient demeanor by entire staff. Kaila was very thorough and explained everything in detail along way, getting my OK to proceed after building my confidence in the remedy. Whole family's been to Dr. H -- and we come from far, far away to maintain the connection. That should tell you about our confidence level.

I have been going to the dentist for 50 years. As a adult this was the best experience ever. First I wanted a no judgement zone and asked when I made the appointment. When I arrived I was warmly greeted. I cracked a few jokes and the staff fired back. Great start. Walked by an office where some guy fired off another comment. He was leaning back reading a paper and pretty funny and low key. I kept walking and asked who was that. Jamie said with a smile that’s the doctor! They have state of the art equipment but most of all a highly skilled funny staff. It was a pleasure to go to the dentist.

There truly aren't enough superlatives to describe the experience and skilled treatment that comes with being a patient of Hoertdoerfer Dentistry. It's hard to single any of the staff out as being a favorite because whenever I visit, it feels like I'm part of their family and each staff member is glad to see me. Jamie has been my hygienist for quite a few years and each cleaning visit is better than the last. Is that possible? You bet. Penny has been a wonderful resource for scheduling the unexpected, as well as suggesting how to find a parking space on those unusually congested days. The office phone barely rings twice and a staff member answers immediately and is so tuned in to you as a patient that their working on the problem in seconds to get you in for a visit. As most people I've always hated going to the dentist. I finally had to go and found Dr H. I've always dreaded cleanings, because of past experience with bleeding gums and fear of the pick. Jamie C was my hygienist and she could not possibly have been better. She was gentle and thoughtful. No bleeding gums, she was cautious with the pic, and explained everything perfectly. I'm almost looking forward to my next cleaning. She's the best.

Recently my coworkers were complaining about having to go to the dentist even for routine checkups. I asked what was so bad about it when mostly all you get is a cleaning and a checkup? They all remarked that their mouths are so sore after the cleaning that it makes them hate going. Only then did I remember that I felt the same way at one time about the cleanings. I have been using this practice for 19 years- all the way back to when Dr. Covey owned it and my hygienist, Mandy, is so good that I completely forgot that the dentist hurts! Of course, Dr. H is great, too, although I haven't needed much beyond the routine stuff. When I have, though, he has been top notch, too!
