I love my dentist...Kara, my dental hygienist is always extremely kind. She takes time to answer my questions, as an example: I had 5 mm pockets and now they're 3mm on this past exam. A) I didn't even know what the heck a pocket was or how it was measured or how to fix it until Kara was nice enough to take the time to explain stuff to me. B) every time one of my 5mm pockets healed and turned to a 3mm, Dr. Eric Anthony was like "wow" and gave me encouragement, he's enthusiastic and brings energy into the dentist office. Thank you both for giving me the tools and guidance to take better care of myself, when I saw I had four 5mm pockets 2 visits ago it felt like a puppy just died in my arms :( and now all my numbers improved and it made me happy again.

I love to personal approach taken by all the staff. They are friendly, caring and Dr. Anthony is the only dentist I have ever felt comfortable with. It is obvious by his staff that they must have the same interest in patient care as he, for my experience with Sandy yesterday made me just as comfortable. Again, this is from someone who has no love for dental visits. I will go nowhere else.

I have never experienced such an unprofessional place. I will not go into a lot of detail except to say they need to update their system so that patients do not have to pay out of pocket. According to their system my husband is not listed on my insurance which we only found out after the fact (and he IS listed under my insurance and always has been). Thankfully 3 weeks later my insurance company got involved and I will finally get my money back! Despite not liking this particular location, I do highly recommend Gentle Dental in Chelmsford MA.

I was charged for a service that was never done. I went to Gentle Dental to get a root canal done. I paid $1,400 out of pocket for this because I did not have dental insurance. I went back a week after I got the root canal done for the post but I told Dr. Anthony I was still having pain from the root canal. I was numbed up and sat in the chair for over an hour and waited for Dr. Anthony to come back. He did not do the crown and post, which was what the appointment was originally scheduled for. He instead opened up the temporary filling and looked to see if the root was still infected and gave me an antibiotic, a different one than he originally gave me a week before when I got the root canal done. He said the antibiotic was most likely not strong enough which is why my tooth still hurt. I did not go back to them after I went back the second time for the post and crown. I have had 2 root canals done prior at another practice and never had any trouble like I did with this root canal I received at Gentle Dental. Today I went to another dentist to get a post and a crown and brought to their attention I thought it was weird I still had discomfort on the tooth Dr. Anthony did a root canal on. The new dentist did an x-ray and come to find out, I NEVER GOT A ROOT CANAL DONE. I am unsure what Dr. Anthony did to me during the visit I paid $1,400 for and no wonder the tooth was still bothering me to this day. I still need to get a root canal done on the tooth. I called today and informed them I found out, after paying another office $190 to do x-rays, that I never got the root canal done. I asked for a refund but they obviously declined to do that for me. So here I am, $1,400 later and still need a root canal done. I will be following up with my credit card company to dispute the charges, because I clearly paid for a service that was not done. It was not until I told them I was disputing the charges when the office manager, Tammy, finally admitted the root canal was not completed. But before I told them I knew it was not completed, I asked them what I had done on September 18th, and was told I had the root canal done by two people (Tammy and Heather). So it was not until I told them I knew they were lying before they told me it was not done. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. The office manager has called me twice since I've spoke with them this morning and said to me "I can't believe you didn't know this was not done". WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU EVER WENT FOR A ROOT CANAL AND WAS TOLD 6 WEEKS LATER YOU PAID FOR IT BUT THE SERVICE WAS NEVER PREFORMED? EXACTLY.

Rudest people you will ever have the displeasure of dealing with. They also lie. Tried to get basic information on replacing my mother's dentures after she had a terrible fall. Any other place - and I called several - will give you a ballpark figure on costs, both low- and high-end dentures. This woman lied about a 'computer problem', and put me on hold for several minutes, then claimed that dentures were 'so involved' that it was impossible to give any kind of estimate (sort of like a sleazy car dealership's 'we don't give numbers over the phone, come on down!'). When confronted with the fact that no other legitimate dental care provider refuses to estimate costs (as well as the fact that my mother is wheelchair-bound), she talked over me with a smarmy 'we'll see you soon' and hung up. Stay away from this place. [event occurred May 1, 2018 at 4:15pm]

I was in so much pain and needed a tooth pulled very badly. I had made a first appointment with Gentle Dental and when I walked in the door and gave the woman at the front desk my insurance card she just put it on the counter and heartlessly told me "We don't accept this insurance". Mind you I started crying because I was in so much pain and I asked if she could help me or if I have other options and she said "No, you have to pay in full or we cannot help you". She didn't apologize for the pain I was in and at least try to offer any solution or even refer me to a different office!!! She put the card down, didn't even hand it back to me and showed no compassion. Not to mention.. when someone calls and makes a first appointment, the "professional" should always be asking about the insurance to avoid situations like this. If not, at least have some decency to try and help the to be client.

I have bad teeth, there is no mistaking that. I went in there fed up with 6 years of constant pain. Boy I was nervous. But the staff did not judge, My exam went quickly, and two days later I had my extractions. We were planning on 5 but ended up going with a 6th one. I was awake for the entire thing. To my absolute delight I felt nothing, and today beingthe third day after, still no pain. Not sure if this is normal. But I am ready for more work to be done. I highly recommend Dr. Hein for any oral surgery. The rest of the staff, awesome. Thank you

I have been a patient at gentle dental of Nashua since 2012, But I’m considering to go to a different place. The quality of service has reduced tremendously since 2012. I feel the place has driven to make more money than patient service. The hygienists used to ask for a fluoride treatment and explain that is not covered by insurance now they don’t ask if I want it or not, they just do it. Leaving you with a bill of $35. I was told I need surgery because my gum line are receding, If family dentist told me that if my gum is not bleeding and not hurting I don’t need that surgery since that surgery is not always affective and is very painful. Dr. Anthony told me that I don’t need it, however I have not able to see him for sometimes and new doctors are pushing for the surgery.

My Dad recently needed dental care. He's almost 92 and has Alzheimer's/dementia. The staff was fantastic with him during every visit, very professional, patient, welcoming, and kind! Three other family members have now switched to Gentle Dental Nashua because of this. I highly recommend this warm and compassionate dental office!!!

Update: January 2019 and have never thought to go anywhere else. I have high standards and they meet them. They really do go beyond them most of the time. Very good experience this last time and I know what I have to do to motive my dental health. Positive and comfortable atmosphere with good music! Front desk staff is A+ Highly recommend this dental office. Thoroughly impressed. $57 for exam, X-ray and cleaning. I saw positive reviews, but was a bit skeptical with the low price. But this is how volume can work. They are not a private practice. The hygienist was great, the dentist, the intake person. They seem to genuinely enjoy their work. And they want dental care to be affordable to everyone, payments plan included, so they were helpful on that end, as well. I just moved from out of state, so this was me needing a new dentist. Best care I've had in a very long time.

I had all my wisdom teeth removed, no aftercare info was provided until I returned due to dry socket which was most likely a result to poor aftercare. The second and 3rd day I had a fever and called in multiple times, no response so we left a voicemail. No call back was received. Then within the next 2 days I called back due to the pain and I spoke to a lady who patronized me and belittled my experience. Then after over a week later finally I was given the doctor's number and was given an emergency appointment. They should have given me the necessary paperwork post surgery. I received assistance after the fact however the excruciating pain I went through for over a week could have easily been avoided. I missed work and had to have my pay docked. After my procedure once the pain started to become worse I had to Google things that a doctor should have conveyed to me and unfortunately it was too late, that is unacceptable.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had, I went there to start a treatment plan, I will say the dental assistant and dentist where very nice and helpful but, the front office are very unprofessional, I called with a concern and I have very high anxiety and needed a little more information I went there for another appointment sat there for 30 minutes and no one asked me if i was being helped... she then called me and I told her that I wasn't going back she said ( reason we are so short staffed is because there was a mugging) I called the corporate office and they told me wasn't even in NH was in NJ... Needless to say I went to a new dental practice and I have my new smile thanks to wonderful caring staff all of them!!

I am a new patient and this office is all about patient old school patient first. They worked with me on paying a large bill nicely might I ad. Dr Anthony just a happy nice guy! Staff best I have encountered in many years. If you have a complaint about this place being bad it is not them it's most likely you. I go with the old saying. Try it you will like it! I have to ad pain level was nothing compared to other dentists aka butchers I have been to. Very gentle no lie.

I have been a patient at Gentle Dental since 2017 and had to deal with billing issues since the beginning. I have no issues with medical staff, they have been great always, but something needs to be done about the management there. Finally I got tired of dealing with incorrect bills month after month and I am going to look for another office.

Dr Anthony is a NOT a good dentist. A message for Dr Anthony->: don't forget you got out of dental school few years ago, don't you need to establish good reputation by doing a good dental work, be professional, care about patients and be fair before anything else? The staff and Dr.'s are awesome and always polite and good natured. The receptionist are all very good at the insurance side of the visit. Special shout out to Tiffany who did not once poke my gums when she was cleaning my teeth, and a Special shout out to Dr Anthony. I'm horribly dental phobic, and my teeth made that very obvious. When the pain was finally bad enough to make me seek help, I picked Gentle Dental simply from the name. The moment I walked in I made sure to tell the staff how frightened I was. They all treated me with respect and kindness, going above and beyond to help me deal with my fears. Dr. Anthony is wonderful. There was no judgment for letting things get so bad, and at each step he put me at ease. Two years later and I've gotten upper dentures! The surgeon was great, the follow up has been wonderful, and the encouragement of all the staff has really made a huge difference. This is a top notch practice, and I'm so grateful for their help! For the first time in almost 40 years I'm not ashamed of my smile. Thank you, Dr. Anthony!

Update: January 2019 and have never thought to go anywhere else. I have high standards and they meet them. They really do go beyond them most of the time. Very good experience this last time and I know what I have to do to motive my dental health. Positive and comfortable atmosphere with good music! Front desk staff is A+ Highly recommend this dental office. Thoroughly impressed. $57 for exam, X-ray and cleaning. I saw positive reviews, but was a bit skeptical with the low price. But this is how volume can work. They are not a private practice. The hygienist was great, the dentist, the intake person. They seem to genuinely enjoy their work. And they want dental care to be affordable to everyone, payments plan included, so they were helpful on that end, as well. I just moved from out of state, so this was me needing a new dentist. Best care I've had in a very long time.

I had all my wisdom teeth removed, no aftercare info was provided until I returned due to dry socket which was most likely a result to poor aftercare. The second and 3rd day I had a fever and called in multiple times, no response so we left a voicemail. No call back was received. Then within the next 2 days I called back due to the pain and I spoke to a lady who patronized me and belittled my experience. Then after over a week later finally I was given the doctor's number and was given an emergency appointment. They should have given me the necessary paperwork post surgery. I received assistance after the fact however the excruciating pain I went through for over a week could have easily been avoided. I missed work and had to have my pay docked. After my procedure once the pain started to become worse I had to Google things that a doctor should have conveyed to me and unfortunately it was too late, that is unacceptable.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had, I went there to start a treatment plan, I will say the dental assistant and dentist where very nice and helpful but, the front office are very unprofessional, I called with a concern and I have very high anxiety and needed a little more information I went there for another appointment sat there for 30 minutes and no one asked me if i was being helped... she then called me and I told her that I wasn't going back she said ( reason we are so short staffed is because there was a mugging) I called the corporate office and they told me wasn't even in NH was in NJ... If I could give zero stars I would. This office is horrible...STAY AWAY. I highly recommend you do your research. The office manager is rude, unprofessional and lazy and cost me hours of sitting in a chair with novacaine injected into my sinus waiting for a root canal because she couldn't verify my insurance with the information I kept providing to her (and insisted her information was the correct info), I left with no treatment and nothing but a numb face. I caught them overbilling my insurance (billing for things I had paid for) and yet I strangely never had a credit balance for them being overpaid. Then if you pay cash up front with their promise to reimburse you when the insurance comes in, beware - because they won't honor that promise and then tell you "they will apply it to give you a credit balance for future treatment" and attempt to refuse to give you your money back. After all of these valid complaints, they fabricated a reason to terminate me because they knew I had and still have plenty of reason to file a grievance with the Insurance Commissioner and I just may do that still. They are not ethical, honest or good at what they do. The only good doctor is Dr. Hein, the oral surgeon, and she will probably get smart and disassociate herself with this office. Go to Nashua Dental Group - FAR more reputable, professional and worth the extra money. Gentle Dental is a discount dentist for people who can't afford better, and they take advantage of people and dispose of them when they reach their annual maximum. You will definitely get what you pay for...or less...at this horrible place and don't expect a friendly demeanor from the front desk staff. VERY unhappy people. BTW - look up some of the people associated with the really happy reviews, too - they appear to be profiles created for 'fake' reviews. Nice....goes along with those high ethics I was referencing.

I highly recommend Gentle Dental Nashua. I had extreme anxiety when it came to dental care and had avoided dental exams for far too long. Deciding I needed to conquer my fear and schedule an exam for my own well-being, I first visited Gentle Dental Nashua in November and was happy with my decision. I was made to feel comfortable beginning with the check in process. The experience continued to be positive with an exam by Dr. Anthony and his very reassuring assistant. Dr. Anthony was wonderful at putting me at ease and the exam was thorough. He is very calm, attentive and patient, explaining each step of the examination. I have since returned to the office for a crown and a cleaning which also were positive, pain free experiences. Kara did my cleaning without judgment about my lack of any recent cleanings. I was quite nervous about the cleaning due to some fears I had with tooth sensitivity but I really had nothing to worry about, she is very in tune with her patients. I recommend this office and Dr. Anthony for anyone looking to have a positive dental experience, including individuals who have dental anxiety.

I first contacted Gentle Dental for an emergency, it was a Saturday and I had a tooth that needed to be extracted. First let me say that out of all the establishments that I contacted they were on the only ones that would fit me in same day for an emergency! I had not been to a dentist in years since moving to NH. After taking care of my emergency we set up for a cleaning, x-rays, etc. They have state of the art equipment! And now, just last week, I had a crown put on my front tooth. They did a fabulous job, even with the temporary crown while I was waiting for the permanent one (Thanks Mallory!) When it came time for the permanent crown they even brought in someone to make sure that the color was matching - especially since it was my front tooth! Thank you Dr. Anthony and Mallory - great job - I love my smile!! :)

Called them so they could see what was going on , I went there for a visit all they could say is that it's normal to fell pain after you do a filling. I'm very unhappy with the work and services was done by this office. luckily found a very experienced dentist with great services not too far from Gentle Dental. as a matter of fact, almost every Dentist in the area do better job than Gentle Dental. I read the reviews. , ha ha ha , not hard to figure it out ....most likely the 5 star reviews were done by the doctor or his staff.

I found Gentle Dental thru my Insurance Provider , Dr Anthony was listed 1st alphabetically , I had a cracked tooth - Gentle Dental scheduled me right in , treated me , handled my Insurance . From root canal to general cleaning this Dentist Office is a great fit for me , The hours are very accomadating to my hectic schedule . Staff is Friendly , Lets face it - No one likes going to the Dentist . But Gentle Dental Nashua makes it more pleasant .

I highly recommend Gentle Dental Nashua. I had extreme anxiety when it came to dental care and had avoided dental exams for far too long. Deciding I needed to conquer my fear and schedule an exam for my own well-being, I first visited Gentle Dental Nashua in November and was happy with my decision. I was made to feel comfortable beginning with the check in process. The experience continued to be positive with an exam by Dr. Anthony and his very reassuring assistant. Dr. Anthony was wonderful at putting me at ease and the exam was thorough. He is very calm, attentive and patient, explaining each step of the examination. I have since returned to the office for a crown and a cleaning which also were positive, pain free experiences. Kara did my cleaning without judgment about my lack of any recent cleanings. I was quite nervous about the cleaning due to some fears I had with tooth sensitivity but I really had nothing to worry about, she is very in tune with her patients. I recommend this office and Dr. Anthony for anyone looking to have a positive dental experience, including individuals who have dental anxiety.

I first contacted Gentle Dental for an emergency, it was a Saturday and I had a tooth that needed to be extracted. First let me say that out of all the establishments that I contacted they were on the only ones that would fit me in same day for an emergency! I had not been to a dentist in years since moving to NH. After taking care of my emergency we set up for a cleaning, x-rays, etc. They have state of the art equipment! And now, just last week, I had a crown put on my front tooth. They did a fabulous job, even with the temporary crown while I was waiting for the permanent one (Thanks Mallory!) When it came time for the permanent crown they even brought in someone to make sure that the color was matching - especially since it was my front tooth! Thank you Dr. Anthony and Mallory - great job - I love my smile!! :)

Horrible experience. Went there to do an restoration a month after all I could fell was pain. Called them so they could see what was going on , I went there for a visit all they could say is that it's normal to fell pain after you do a filling. I went to another Dental office today, they told me I have an infiltration due to the horrible work that was done on my tooth. The receptionists simply horrible , they treat you like nothing over the phone.

The people were fine, and I did get a OK cleaning but their insurance/billing person Tammy, is completely incompetent. At first I was happy with this place. I needed a root canal. My temporary crown came off at least 3 times. I had to go back , I was assured repeatedly that the permanent crown would NOT come off again .Well, It did. Not happy at all. NOT going back. I have a new dentist.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Bertanelli for an extraction and I can't say enough. The front of house is very nice and the Dr. And Nurse listened and worked with me to make sure I was comfortable. Just absolutely thrilled unlike a prior experience at the manchester office they were very informative and kind. I might just travel the half hour to go to the nashua office instead of the one in Manchester. Their care was above and beyond so happy I went with them!.
