I have had a great experience with many dentists in this practice. They use up-to-date technology and practices which improves patient experience. They are very sensitive to my sometimes difficult- to anestitize mouth. :) I also find their hygienists / dental assistants to be very friendly, welcoming, and personable. They also seem to invest in their employees and provide excellent training opportunities.

I needed a new dentist and wanted a female, a place that had a couple specialists all in the same place should I ever need one, and one that took my insurance. Having a new provider of anything is always a little unnerving, never knowing what to expect, and with a dentist, and needing a full dental series of xrays, what after 5 years may have transpired and what a new one might discover that the one before may have missed. I first met Heather, the office manager. She clearly knows what she is doing, is organized, and knows how to communicate. She had me do the electronic signings and explained simply as we went along. Check out was just as easy. And knowing Heather will file for Delta Dental is definitely a plus. Brooklynn was my dental assistant. She was very pleasant and engaging, but not over the top. We talked about my dental history the she took all the xrays for the series quickly, accurately, and without a pinch. Brooklynn is very personable and competent asset to the practice. I next saw the dentist, Dr. Bonci. She too was very personable. She made me feel she had plenty of time for me, respectfully listened to what I had to say, answered my questions, and gave me a very thorough exam. She found little of interest, but the "watches" were just that, areas to watch, rather than being unnecessarily aggressive suggesting a lot of expensive dental work. I would not hesitate to take Dr. Bonci's advice or have her do any dental work. I needed my teeth cleaned and was told there was a cancellation a few days later, so I agreed. Amy was very social yet still able to do a terrific job cleaning my teeth in the manner I preferred (manual) without any discomfort. Amy seems to know everything there is to know in the dental hygiene world so answered all my questions and gave great advice. 2 great appointments with the DiBona Dental Group... I will be back!

DiBona Dental is the first office I have visited since I became too old for my pediatric dentist. At first I was worried about the care I would receive compared to the pediatrics office but it was far better than I had imagined. Filling my medical forms out prior to my appointment allowed me to sign in within minutes, effortlessly. Very soon after, I was already getting my X-rays done. Brooklynn made the X-ray process as comfortable and quick as possible while taking professional pictures that did not have to be taken multiple times in order to get a good visual. Dr. Bonci examined my teeth right after and was extremely helpful explaining the steps I needed to take in repairing my gums. She provided me with all the information I needed to know about my gum condition without overwhelming me with extra details. Kristen cleaned my teeth and it was like no other cleaning I have received. Part of the reason for this is because I'd only been to a pediatric dentist before but the more eye-opening reason is because of the way my teeth felt after the cleaning. I could feel spaces between my teeth that I never knew where there. I had a deep gum cleaning which was supposed to be painful but her experience showed as I was never actually in pain throughout the procedure. I am very satisfied with the care I received which is why DiBona Dental Group and the staff deserve 5 stars and will be seeing me again for future cleanings! -Nathan G.

Hello it's me

I've seen several providers at DiBona -- some okay, and some solid. Marion, the clinical coordinator, is the go-to person for any kind of Issue. In addition to her clinical knowledge and suggestions on how-to's, she is compassionate and has a fabulous sense of humor. She also seems to hear everything -- no matter which room she's in -- and suddenly appears with an apparatus or technique that will help make the procedure go more smoothly and ease the patient's discomfort. John is probably my favorite hygienist of all time. He's gentle and efficient and thorough and -- good and bad news -- finds all of the problem spots in my aging teeth. Dr. Elizabeth DiBona is kind and compassionate and skilled. She talks patients into a meditative place during injections. I had a dreaded root canal with Dr. Polk, and it was a piece of cake. I think the nitrous oxide helped. On nitrous oxide: I've learned that my body needs perhaps more than the average person's, so don't be afraid to ask for more if you're not in a relaxed "happy place" -- despite the procedure.

DiBona Dental is the first office I have visited since I became too old for my pediatric dentist. In the past, I had 2 absolutely HORRIFIC experiences at the dentist (not at DiBona). So naturally I am an extremely fearful patient and when searching for a new dentist, I did careful research, asked for recommendations, and wanted to find a place that I could trust. My boyfriend and his family have been going to the Dibona Dental Group for years and they had nothing but good reviews. I came with my boyfriend twice before becoming a patient, to see what they were like. I decided to give Dibona a shot and had my first appt a few weeks ago. Kristen was my hygienist and although being extremely nervous and on edge the whole time, she kept me calm, explained everything and told me that my oral health was excellent. Unfortunately due to my last dentist not taking x-rays enough, Kristen found a few small cavities that needed to be treated and that had apparently been there for 3 years but had not got any larger (so I was somewhat proud of that). However, knowing that I would have to come back for actual work had me utterly terrified as it had been so long since I needed work. However, I had my second appt today and I was cared for by Dr. Elizabeth Dibona and her assistant Marion. Both were very nice, gentle, professional and catered to my every need... LITERALLY (I asked for like 4 things all at once... I thought they were going to kick me out haha). My boyfriend came with me so that I could hold his hands (and by hold is hands I mean cut off the blood circulations to his fingers haha). After the last week of being depressed and crying about my upcoming treatment, I finally got it over with today. Overall, it was pretty much painless and I am proud of myself for making it through because walking in there for my appt, I felt like I was going to either pass out or ball my eyes out. So, to go through with it and get it all done, was a HUGE accomplishment for me (my boyfriend could not have been more proud). Thank you Dibona Dental Group for dealing with my and my extreme fear. Hopefully one day I can get over it... after all “time heals all wounds”, right?! - Danielle

Dr.Elizabeth Dibona is highly qualified(excellent credentials), precise attention to detail, and wonderful chair side manner. All my visits have been the best dental experiences ever. Comfortable(with the ear buds and choice of music offered by them), friendly professional staff and the implant procedure was one I can recommend. My hygienist Kristen is awesome!!! My teeth have never been cleaner. Her suggestions have improved my gum health exponentially.

Let's be honest, no one gets excited to go to the dentist. But since I started coming to DiBona and have had John as my hygienist, I never dread my trip to the dentist. A few days before my appointment, Karen F. gave me a call to say there was an opening in the schedule. She asked if I wanted to move my appointment to earlier in the morning as she remembered I like to get in before my work day starts. Kristen gave me a fast and painless cleaning, followed by a quick check up from Dr. Koren. I was done in just about 30 minutes and on my way. Highly recommend DiBona Dental to anyone looking to make a switch.

Given my past dislike (more like fear) of the dentist's office means that I never went unless absolutely necessary, which resulted recently-in me having a ton of work done. From start to finish, every dentist ( Dr Coran ) , hygienist ( John, Amy) , technician, ( Tara & meg ) have all made me feel super comfortable and have taken great care of me. Even Heather at the front desk knows me by name and greets me with a warm hello every time I walk through the door (come on, nobody greets me with a warm hello ) I would highly recommend DiBona Dental...and from this man baby with a history of having an intense fear of the dentist's office, that is saying a LOT.

Myself and my family have been coming to this group for 6 yrs. We were content and happy with the hygienist and dentists. Due to unforeseen circumstances with becoming a one car family there were times when making an appointment was difficult. So we would cancel. All I have to say is, Dont cancel any appointments with the excuse that life happens or the office will put you on the naughtly call list without telling you, then good luck getting an appointment unless you are a short notice person. I made the decision to be done with this office after being treated like an outcast and after spending literally thousands on our familys teeth over the years. I think a handful of times cancelling in 6 yrs and to reschedule is not such a big ordeal if necessary, but to have one of their people cancel me because I just so happened to be scheduled on the Red Sox opening day and had to reschedule my time, was ok. The quality of service from the providers was not a problem, its just too bad that the office gave them a bad name with demonstrating bad attitude to a well paying customer. Good luck.
