Great place! Been going there for a few years. Dr. Erik Young is very detail oriented and has typically taken a conservative attitude towards any dental procedures, which I like. Great, friendly hygienists and front office staff. Kudos to the Youngs for updating the office as well. I'm taking 1 star off because Dr. Karen Young has been quite brusque at times - in one instance to my 5 year old daughter. I understand everybody has their off days, but this resulted in some confusion and distress for my daughter. Other than that, I highly recommend this place :-).

Had a tooth that needed an old filling removed, and a crown put on. My appointment was on Tuesday July 10th. I really hate getting my teeth worked on, but with Dr. Eric I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I've been to many dentists since I was a kid, and I have to say that Dr. Eric is the best dentists I've ever had. I absolutely love the people in the front of the office. I love joking with them.

Dr. Erik Young is the best! I've been a patient for a year since recently moving to the area. The staff is so nice and helpful and the office is clean and modern. They keep a really good schedule, and get you in and out as quickly as possible. Dr. Young recently recommended getting my wisdom teeth removed, and I was quite nervous about going through with it, but he was great! The customer service is always amazing, and I always leave happy and pain free! And they have great samples :)

Didnt even get a chance to have my teeth checked or cleaned. Missed my first appointment by 10 minutes. I live five minutes away. they dont make appointments if you missed the first one. So if anyone is new to this place and feel like you might miss your first dont go here. Also she tried to hang up on me sounding all smart and fake happy. You failed at that. Not my loss of business. And not my bad review. Not my loss of thousands of dollars over time.

Dr. Erik, Dr. Karen, and the entire staff at Derry Dental Associates has been absolutely WONDERFUL along the course of the last 10 months, while I have been getting treatment at their location. Going to the dentist can be a bit of a stressor, but I've had nothing but an outstanding experience at their office. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a dentist in the Derry area!

I usually don’t do reviews, but with the excellent service I received upon my visit at Derry Dental, I felt it necessary to share my experience. At first I was a bit skeptical, as I had read some reviews about the office before going in for an appointment, but once I got there, there was no doubt that the environment was very welcoming. I was greeted by affable and helpful front desk workers, and sat in the waiting room while awaiting on my doctor. The wait was only roughly 5 minutes, which was nice seeing as I was in on a last minute appointment. The area in which patients were seated for the dental work itself was private, which I enjoyed as I didn’t have to see anybody else getting their teeth worked on and nobody had to see me. The dentist who cleaned my teeth was easy to explain what she was doing and why, and worked with me. She was kind and you could tell she had passion for her work , rather than being inattentive and rushing. Dr. Eric then came in to work on my teeth, and I can easily say such good things about him as well, he was good at his job and seemed to really be focused and precise with what he did. When checking out and making my next appointment, a front desk worker assissted me extremely well, helping me cope with prices and what my insurance plan could help cover. She, too, seemed caring about her job, which I assume must just be a trait of all workers at this office. Overall, I actually really enjoyed Derry Dentals work skills and office. The employees were helpful and nice, I didn’t have to wait long, it was affordable, and the cleaning and proceeders I went in to have done got done in ease. Again, I’m not much of a review person, but I would highly recommend this office, as it has definitely just become my favorite dentist office to visit.

If you're looking for a great dentist that surpasses your expectations and treats you like your family, this is the place. Dr. Erik Young and his staff are the most caring friendly bunch of professionals I have ever been too. No need to have a feeling of nervousness coming here, they are always so warm & inviting. Dr. Erik probably has one of the best chair side manners I've ever experienced. He takes his time, explains everything in specific detail and listens to any concerns you may have. His staff is always cheerful & upbeat. I'm a fairly new patient here due to relocating, I am so glad to have found them. Because of a medical emergency the day before my first appointment, unfortunately, I had to cancel. I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to get back in because of not being an established patient yet. That night I received a text message saying they hoped I was feeling better and to not worry about rescheduling, they would get me in as soon as I was feeling better. When I said you're treated like a part of their family, this is what I was talking about. I truly appreciate how well I have been cared for and look forward to being able to smile with confidence once again.

Awful experience. Switched to them because of insurance. After one cleaning and two horribly done fillings, I'm returning to my dentist that I have to pay full price for. One filling cause an even bigger cavity while the other one gets food stuck in it all the time. Bunch of morons that don't pay attention while they work. Never ever go here!

Went to get some fillings and could still feel my teeth before drilling however my face was incredible numb, the women told me that because I’m anxious I’m defeating the purpose of novocaine and then stated the amount of novocaine she used could be for a 300 lb man (I’m 130 women) horrible chair side manner and I know because I went to dental school.

I would have been a new patient but on the day of she gave me a call to tell me that I was 15mins late and i could NEVER be a patient there again, Keep in mind they never gave me any reminder calls. If you are a new patient, mom, or someone who has a life the this is not the dentist for you. Like she told me we don't give second chances. It's clear that they do not care about new patients. I am glad I know this now before becoming one. I'm sure my business would be appreciated elsewhere as well as thousands of dollars over time.

I typically hate going to dentists. Was nervous before my first appointment with Derry Dental. They were very nice, staff and hygienist. This visit was the most relaxing and pleasant dental visit I've ever had! Even recieved a warm levendar scented facecloth afterwards! I highly recommend them for your dental needs!

I was recommended Derry Dental by a friend. I went for an initial visit due to an absesed tooth. We came up with a dental plan that made me very happy. The place is beautiful and so clean. The staff is very courteous. Dr. Eric was amazing. I had some pretty extensive work done with him and he walked me through each step and made sure I was comfortable. And the same with my hygienist Melissa. I will be sending my kids there also. I have been to some dentist who felt drive but Every one here makes you feel comfortable.

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARTS I WOULD! Went to Derry Dental almost 2 years ago due to having a broken tooth and not many places taking tricare dental. I was sent out to another dentist for my root canal, who was amazing! I have major dental anxiety and he helped me through every bit of that process. Went back to Derry Dental for my permanent crown and let me tell you...NEVER AGAIN! Dr. Karen Young was so unprofessional! She was more.concerned about when she was picking her kid up, than with the quality of work she was doing in my mouth! She continuously yelled at me to keep my tongue down or she would "drill it". She never warned me that the disinfectant they use before putting the crown on, would dry out my mouth and throat (if it went down it). Well, it went down my throat because she didn't have any suction going. I had an all out panic.attack in her chair and I was yelled at for it! The crown was supposed to be made then and there in the office, but my mouth was "too small to fit the camera in" do i was given another temp crown and sent on my way. This was all on my last molar on the top left of my mouth. I had a small cavity starting in the same molar on the opposite side. I was so traumatized, I refused to go back...the tooth is now broken and I need a root canal and crown on that side, but I will not be going to Derry Dental for that! NEVER EVER AGAIN!

Dr. Karen Young, you should be ashamed to call yourself a health care practitioner. Don't forget to look at the YELP reviews folks. This woman is a thief and takes ZERO pride in her work. It is only a matter of time before you find yourself in front of the NH board of dental examiners.

Went in for crown, they billed my insurance for perm crown, still have temp crown, to much pain and wanting to just pull tooth. They refused to pull the tooth and lectured on how saving tooth is better. Can't go to new dentist due to them maxing benefits out on incorrect proceedure

I have experienced some awful dentists over the years. The most recent traumatized my entire family so we did not go to the dentist for almost 18 months when I found Derry dental Associates! I cannot speak highly enough about the entire staff or the facilities everything is done in a friendly, kind, and professional manner and I would recommend them to anyone! My entire family now goes there and we couldn't be happier!

Derry Dental and Associates is by far the best dental office! The girls at the front desk are courteous and caring. My entire family goes here for check ups and each time is pleasant! We all enjoy going to the dentist! Recently, I had a whole mouthful of work done and the care that I was given was beyond my expectations. The next morning, I received a phone call from Dr Erik just checking on me to make sure I was feeling ok. I recommend this establishment to all! They always make me feel welcome and have even stayed late to accommodate an emergent situation I had.

I consider myself to be one of the luckiest people on the planet to have met Dr. Erik and the staff at Derry Dental. Growing up a hockey player, my visits to the dentist were many, and for the most part, a miserable experience. Back in the day, I was a tough as nails jock and had been to hell and back with the military. But, nothing scared me more than a visit to the dentist. Until that is, I met Dr. Erik. He made the experience a pleasant one with every visit. I had some pretty extensive work to be done. The kind of work that made me barely want to smile, ever. I was embarrassed to show my choppers to anyone. It hurt to eat, and I could just forget about drinking anything too hot or cold. I was in pain for years. He has such a professional attitude yet his friendly demeanor made me feel at ease and comfortable. The relationship he seems to have with the staff makes it clear they love their work and enjoy his company. Dana and the rest of the ladies at the front desk are always smiling and attentively greet me like I'm an old friend. It makes for a very pleasurable time every time. His skills are like a finely tuned face fixing machine, turning my closed beak half-smile into a full on ear to ear, lips apart, pearly whites showing, blessing of a smile I am now proud to show off to everyone. I honestly don't remember the last time I was able to say that. The transformation he accomplished for me, changed my life. That might be a little out there, but it's absolutely true. I can walk around now without the embarrassment and humiliation of having bad teeth, and I can actually smile again, for real and it feels great. If anyone out there reading this is in dentist shopping mode, take my word for it, come here. You will not be disappointed. In fact, if you walk out of there half as happy as me, you'll be in good shape. I know you'll be in good hands.

I have been a patient at Derry Dental for a very long time and have always appreciated the level of care and the personal attention I have received from everyone associated with the practice. This tradition of excellence is certainly reflected in my experiences with Dr. Erik and his staff. Dr Erik is an amazing communicator and a consummate professional. He never makes me feel rushed and seems to be genuinely concerned that I am fully informed about my oral health. When a problem arises, he explains what he sees in the x-rays and thoroughly discusses options. He is skilled in the latest technology and does everything possible to make me comfortable when a procedure is required. In addition, Dr. Erik surrounds himself with an exceptionally warm and welcoming team. It is evident that he has a great deal of confidence in the level of expertise of his assistants. My hygienist is not only extremely thorough but also has a delightful personality that makes it easy to relax. The office staff is efficient and friendly and very accommodating to my schedule. Usually my visits to the dentist are limited to routine cleanings and the occasional cavity or crown. However, during my spring visit, my hygienist noticed an abscess in a tooth. A root canal had been performed on the tooth several years ago and obtaining an implant seemed the best course of action. After explaining the procedure thoroughly, Dr. Erik removed the tooth and inserted the implant. Today, I received the permanent crown and am happy to report that I am delighted with my new tooth. I know that Dr. Erik and his team would have it no other way.

I am new to the area and went to Derry Dental Associates hoping they would be good. This practice far exceeded my expectations. Everyone was very friendly and communicative. The hygienist told me exactly what she was going to do and why. Dr. Young called me the night before my appointment to see if I had any concerns. He showed me what he was seeing on my X-rays and went over the concern I had mentioned to him the night before. He had a gap in his schedule and asked if I would like to stay to get one of my fillings done. Through out the whole appointment I felt very informed and assured that Dr Young and his staff had my best interest in mind. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of a dentist.
