Office staff is rude and only looking for money. They wanted to do 12 friends on my child all baby teeth one needed to be pulled and yet they refused and wanted to drill it instead. Run as fast as you can away from this place as they only care about money and could care less if they are injuring your child.

We visited the office with our son Ryan, (first time experience for him) The entire staff was fabulous, they all were very welcoming, and took their time explaining the process to us. Although he was shy at first, he ended his visit by giving his hygienist a hug a a big thank you. He was also very happy to get a coin for a special treat on the way out. We have gone to see Dr. Hinton at Concord Pediatric Dentistry to evaluate our newborn son's lip and tongue ties. Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Hinton has been so helpful and kind. Dr. Hinton did a great job taking photos of our son's mouth and walking us through her analysis. She performed the procedure to release the ties with a CO2 laser, and our son hardly seemed bothered by it. Dr. Hinton has even made herself available by cell phone for follow-up questions and seen our son to check his mouth (at our request) free of charge. She is very good and very generous.

I wish I had known about them years ago as sending my younger children to pediatric dentist has been such a different experience than my older choldren had at non kid friendly offices. I took my grandson in because he had an abscessed tooth that we had taken to the hospital for being it was a weekend. The staff is pretty caring and gentle. My grandson has anxiety and today must have just been a day that the Doctor was overwhelmed by my grandson's anxiety because he himself struggled with figuring out the next step. We go back in a couple days to see if my grandson will let the Doctor numb it and pull that trouble tooth. I hope the Doctor can gain just a smidge more of patience and understanding of my grandson's medical diagnosis. I'll be praying. Overall though they are great with children

Pretty awful place. The technicians were both quite miserable and one of my children "needed" quite a few cavities filled. Upon 2nd opinion at another place, that was found to be false. Concord pediatrics seems to be money hungry to pay for their overly fancy place.

The staff here is phenomenal. We've only ever encountered 1 hygienist we thought was not patient enough to be dealing with small children, especially ones that may not be very vocal or have a hard time understanding directions. We've used them for over 2 years now and despite the fact that we moved an hour and a half away from the office, we still make the trip there. I would definitely recommend them.

We have been established patients at this practice for some time now and have always been very happy with the care. Recently our 7 year old son had a "tongue tie" corrected by Dr. Hinton. He was incredibly nervous and anxious and had a very hard time calming down. Valerie (dental assistant) and Dr. Hinton were beyond amazing with helping to ease him and gently guide him through the rest of the procedure. Their genuine concern for children and exceptional knowledge/clinical competency are reasons why we love it so much.

They are always so kind and welcoming to my children. They are patient and talk to them about what is going on, in a way the kids understand. My six year old son had to have some dental work done and he was quite nervous about it. They made the experience so comfortable that on the way home he asked if he could go again. Though I told him we didn't want to have any more cavities to fill, I was happy that he wasn't scared after the visit like I was as a kid.

They have been so wonderful I really cannot say enough good things about them. This is true of everyone there. Once I had a question about a dental material going into my son's mouth and the hygienist kindly took the time to read the box for me over the phone. They like wasting time. My 7 year old daughter has had a loose tooth for a week that's been causing her to baby it with not eating for a whole week, not talking, laying in bed all day, not opening her mouth or brushing teeth! For a week! Brought her to her dentist and she would not let them examine her mouth so the referred her to you for nitrous oxide. Called and explained everything that has been going on including her refusal for the exam. So we goto an 8am appt with me living an hour away. And all they did was try the exam and wanted to send us off! Even tho she had the referral and it's causing her problems but ya let's just keep this going for even longer. So instead of having faith in dentist tying to help children guess she gets to goto the hospital! Thank you Concord dentistry for nothing. Does anyone even read the reviews and try to resolve issues, No. They just don't care!!

Our daughter hit her mouth on her bed rail and I was nervous that it had done damage to her permanent teeth. I called up that morning to see if we could get a quick x-ray and they got me in in two hours they were kind friendly and reassured me after her exam that her teeth were just fine. I didn't need to go back up to the front desk and I had to leave quickly. It was the perfect experience. My daughter just turned seven but has always felt comfortable going back to the dentist rooms by herself because everyone there is so friendly.

We just took our 3 year old son to Concord Pediatric Dentistry for his first appointment. Our experience was wonderful. All of the staff, from scheduling to the hygienist to the dentist were friendly, efficient, and patient. The atmosphere in the office is very inviting, with warm, bright colors and natural light. Our son felt at ease almost immediately, and was able to have a (mostly) stress-free appointment.

I specifically asked that they do a cleaning on my two year old they wouldn’t take the time to get him comfortable in the room they were trying to rush to get to lunch. He sits really well for us brushing he’s a little nervous in a new room. So I asked if they would try again and they said no it’s not worth getting him upset. It was frustrating. I understand making them comfortable but it was frustrating that I specifically asked when scheduling to do a cleaning because he’s been going Sence he was 6 mo old he was ready in my opinion

My 4-year old daughter has received a traumatic painful dental experience here. I would give 0 stars if possible. Thoroughly awful experience from the condescending and rude behavior of Danielle Hinton to the long and drawn-out painful and traumatizing dental experience itself, they only love taking care of kids if it is easy and financially beneficial to them. My daughter's pain medication wore off while Danielle Hinton saw another patient right in front of us, then she continued to work on my daughter as she screamed in pain, telling her to just "breathe the happy air" which clearly wasn't managing her pain 75 minutes after she started the procedure. I wouldn't recommend taking your children here to anyone unless you want to chance a traumatic experience for your child that as the parent want to be blamed for by the "professional" medical staff.

The dental care was pretty good and the hygienists and dentists made my children feel comfortable. However, when I requested a less frequent X-ray schedule for my two children without any history of cavities (which I discussed with our pediatrician) the doctors asked me to leave the practice. I was also willing to keep a standard X-ray schedule for my child with a history of cavities. I was disappointed that they would not consider a less frequent X-ray schedule for a child without problems. There is a growing understanding now that patients, especially children, should limit their exposure to radiation, and should be x-rayed only if there is a medical reason to do so, not just to "follow a schedule" rotely. Medicine is not a "one size fits all" practice and each patient's needs and issues should be evaluated independently. I honestly wonder if it was a money issue, if they only wanted patients in the practice who would have a higher profit if they were to get more frequent X-rays.

My wife and I called CPD because our child appeared to have a tongue tie. They were able to schedule us within a week and gave us a referral for a lactation consultant to meet with prior to our meeting. The lactation consultant was very helpful showing me that CPD is associated with quality professionals. CPD has a very kid friendly office and staff and have set up their procedures to minimize the amount of time our child had to sit in the chair and had my wife holding her the whole time. Our dentist and her nurses took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. After our appointment, the nurse directed us towards a private and clean room where my wife could breastfeed and change our daughter.

Both of my girls have been going to Concord Pediatric Dentistry since they were 3 years old. They are excellent with kids. My girls also had braces here and had a great experience. When I decided to get braces, every orthodontist told me I couldn't do Invisiline and some have recommended that I pull some teeth. I decided to call Concord Pediatric Dentistry to see who they would recommend and they told me that Dr. Nyberg also takes adult patients. I made an appointment and have been extremely happy. I was able to do Invisiline, did not have to pull any teeth and their prices were so much better compared to other places that I investigated. Overall, win win! Highly recommend Dr. Nyberg if you need orthodontic work. She is awesome!

What a wonderful place with excellent staff that always put my children first! Most recently my 6 year old fell and knocked her two front teeth back. They were able to get us in to be evaluated the same day! Both of my children have been going here since they were 2 years old. NEVER have they been nervous or afraid of going to the dentist! Took my 1 year old for her very first appointment yesterday and they were absolutely amazing. The hygienist Jen was a total gem and really made me feel comfortable by explaining everything and she was great with my daughter. My daughter did great and let them look around in her mouth and they were calm with her that at first she didn't want to lay back in the chair. Thank you for making her first dental experience a pleasant one. I would add a table with some toys for the kids to play with but my daughter had a lot of fun pulling the books off the shelf and putting them back.

My daughter was born 11/19/18, she had a visible lip tie and also had a tongue tie. We brought her in on day 2 of life and Dr Hinton was beyond amazing. She was so informative and professional. We felt like we completely understood what the procedure was and she never pushed us to do anything we weren’t comfortable with. In the end she had 4 ties released. She was away from me for no more than 5 minutes and then she was brought to me to nurse. It’s now been 5 days and our latch and breastfeeding have improved so much and without this I’m not sure where we would have been. We never felt rushed and Dr Hinton answered all of our questions and more. I would highly recommend her and the practice to anyone struggling with mouth ties and breastfeeding.

Dentist was good, staff to help with billing questions was AWFUL. You get a bill with no explanation of what is being billed - Just pay this amount. Then when you call to ask for assistance of what the bill is for you get the run around. I'm happy to pay, but I would like understand what I'm getting billed for. I would NOT recommend.

His hygienist was so awesome and explained everyone she was going to do in great detail. At 8 years old this is his 1st completed cleaning not done without being knocked out or with gas!!!

This place doesn't seem to care about parents wishes. I have one child who has gotten X-rays twice without getting my approval to perform them. Twice. My daughter is only 6. The first time you might be able to say it was a miscommunication, the second time you have to admit that it is something they are obviously taught and encourages their staff to do this. The dentist came in and instead of apologizing for the mistake, he started questioning my reasoning for not wanting X-rays. And when I brought up the research that links dental X-rays to brain cancer he said he was aware of the research, but never looked into it. He was very condescending. Staff is generally rude. When they ask you if you want to add something at an appointment (fluoride, happy gas) they don't mention that it's extra or if your insurance will pay for it. The billing department is just terrible to deal with.

I LOVE THIS OFFICE. I’ve only been twice. My son is just 15 months old, but even he loves it! They don’t make you wait in the waiting room at all and the entire building is so asthetically pleasing. Very clean. Every one you encounter is very nice. I’m making my husband go with us next time just so he can see the place.

They are fabulous here. My daughter loves going to the dentist. The day we went they only had one dentist on so they were running a little behind but they did everything they could to keep everything moving as efficiently as possible without making you feel like they were rushing because they were behind. I would highly recommend them! We have yet to have a bad experience with them.

This was my son's first visit to this office and he LOVED IT. From the tooth paste trail to his treatment room and the cool sunglasses he got to wear, he did not want to leave.The staff were very friendly and amazing with my son. The hygienist explained everything she was going to do including which tool she was going to be using in his mouth and what it does. My son did not want to leave!

My 8 year old is very nervous about the dentist. The hygienists that she has seen have done a great job putting her at ease and most of all being patient with her. My daughter loves Dr Hinton! My 21 month old just had her second visit and felt comfortable enough to climb right up in the chair and let the hygienist look at her teeth and this time she even sat still enough for them to be cleaned! It's a 40 minute drive for us but definitely worth it

I have an extremely artistic child and we DREAD the dentist :/ but not today!!!! :))) today was one of the happiest days I've had in a long long time! Thanks to all that Robbie and I met! My experience from the moment I walked thru the door was amazing! -Jerry knew right away who we were, he was on the phone letting a member now we were there before I even got to the front desk! Thanks a million jerry! Meant a lot to me. -Jen was absolutely amazing and patient with Robbie, Jen because of you I will not dread or stress about bringing him to you next time :) -Dr chu was great the moment he walked in the door, smile on his face. Listened to what I had to say and was actually looking at my while I spoke, others like to look at Robbie when I'm talking, like they've never seen an autistic child before. I will certainly recommend everyone I know to go to Concord pediatric dentistry !!! Five stars for me thanks again!!!!

Awesome team here. Loved everything about it. From the waiting room, to the hallway leading to the exam rooms and the exam rooms. The hygienist was very friendly and took the time to get to know my son and I as it was our first time at this office and his first time at ever at the dentist. She explained everything to me about the procedures and how they would get a look into my son's mouth and what they would do once they were in there. Once the dentist came in he was quick but thorough. I liked it so much I wish I could go there!

The one actual dentist I dealt with here is great; that being said, the other staff here I've found to be extremely rude snobby & discourteous. I missed ONE appt. for my son due to him being hospitalized for having the flu, so yeah I wasn't concerned with a cleaning at the time when my son's being hospitalized due to being extremely dehydrated!!! I called to reschedule the appt. & not only was she VERY rude, but she kept me on hold for 15 minutes just to come back on to tell me not only was my 4 year old being discharged due to the appointment we didn't show for, but they're also discharging my oldest son, whom had nothing to do with my youngest son's missed appt.! Another time I brought my oldest to get a tooth pulled because he'd gotten it filled the previous year, even after getting the filling, the tooth was still unable to be saved & had to be pulled. Now let me remind you when you're 5 years old & you've never had a tooth pulled, it's scary & you're going to want mommy/daddy there with you, hold your hand, etc., right? Well this clearly wasn't common sense to them because they also refused to allow me in the "operating room" during the procedure to "respect the other patients' privacy", so my son was balling his eyes out the whole time because they made me stay in the waiting room! So if you care about your children and/or at the least expect respect & courtesy from your child's dentist, DO NOT go to this dentist!

The whole experience was wonderful! I appreciated that I was informed that the hygienist was running behind and an assistant, Shelby, was going to help by taking my x-rays I was due for. She asked if any of my teeth were bothering me and took an extra x-ray of the problem area. Kirsten was very gentle and caring. Dr. Chiu took the time while doing his exam and made sure to address my problem area. Very happy with my experience from first to finish!

Pleasantly surprised that the waiting room was virtually empty! Jenny was excellent with my daughter and also with me regarding questions I had asked! We got to see Dr. Hinton so our appointment was even better! I recommend Concord Pediatric Dentistry to everyone I know with kids! My 17yr old daughter has been a patient since the practice was on the campus of the hospital and now my 3yr old daughter looks forward to going to the dentist! Overall, I am satisfied with their everyday cleanings. They did not do super well with an anxious child that needed a crown. First, they scheduled the appointment out so far that she had time to freak out. I also don't like how they have the "surgical" chairs lined up with no barriers between separate patients. And they request that the children come back without a parent. My child is anxious above and beyond the typical child that fears the dentist. They could/should book double length appointment times for children that may take a little longer to warm up. I don't even mind paying more. Meanwhile, my child and I have made 4 visits trying to get a crown on her broken tooth, only to have my child leaving the office with no crown and feeling like a failure.

Never again will I take my children here, very rude unprofessional, they took me into a room to discuss my issues they I wanted heard instead of hearing anything I needed to say the lady immediately just jumped in and said i wasn't a good fit for this clinic, i guess they dont like criticism because as soon as they asked how my visit was and I said not good the lady at the front desk said let me go talk to the coordinator and the coordinator came and got me and didnt even give me a chance to voice my concerns and just said sorry we dint feel your a good fit for us, extremely rude and unprofessional business, save your time and money and go elsewhere

My son went to Concord Pediatric Dentist for the first time when he was just 3 years old and very anxious about being at the dentist. As soon as we walked in the doors he was excited to see the prize machines and all of the books for kids. The staff at the front desk was super friendly (and unfortunately that is rare these days) which made ME more comfortable right away. We were called in not long after we got there, and actually before our scheduled appointment (again, very rare these days). The Dental Hygienist was again, super friendly and welcoming to not only my son, but also to myself. The color themed rooms were very appealing to my son especially since we got his favorite color. They were beyond patient with my little guy as they took multiple X-rays, which I myself even find uncomfortable, checked his teeth, and delivered me some not so great news. However, they somehow made me so comfortable that it made the news a lot easier to handle. Because my son had multiple cavities I immediately started crying and sobbing about being a horrible parent for not having him brush after every meal or floss (I was happy to get him to do it once a day and myself to brush them for him at night)...they reassured me and stopped me from beating myself up. They came up with a fantastic treatment plan and most importantly gave my son a token for being so brave (SUCH a great idea by the way!!). Since I don't live in Concord I have tried more local dentists, but have been very dissatisfied. My son is now 6 and ended up losing one of the stainless steel caps that was put on his teeth, so we got the chance to go back and I'm not sure if it's possible, but this time was even better. The staff, each and every one, can't even be described. You can tell they all care and genuinely want to help children to not fear the dentist. Where was this place when I was younger?! We have now made this our regular dentist for cleanings and any other teeth related issues because I would drive hours in order to keep my son so happy and comfortable (especially with his sparkly white teeth!!)

The crew here has worked with her to get her comfortable and relaxed about coming. It was truly amazing to watch them with her. They comforted every fear that she had.
