I used to love them and kept them even as we moved. But in my opinion, they have grown too much and the personal touch is getting lost. I was also not impressed when they told me they couldn't put sealers on my child molars, since there was a bit of decay. Then they told me that I was the one that should have asked for them when they first erupted. Since I'm not a dental professional, I didn't know about them and never thought of asking for them. They've been seeing him since he was 2 years old and they never mentioned sealers to me, even as he was getting permanent teeth.

The orthodontist downstairs is even worse she is a wacko. She never explains anything for the children she acts very nice to the parents but is horrible to the children. Forced to take our business elsewhere. My child has been with them for over 2 years and was good at first but the service has been steadily fading. Receptionists in front are uptight and condescending. Seems to me patients with state funded insurance are clearly treated differently. They have made numerous mistakes in submitting insurance claims to our insurance, when calling to rectify the situation they always make it seem as if it was our fault that they made the mistakes. Now these insurance issues are costing a lot of time and my daughter is the one suffering for a year now. Don't ever cancel or try to reschedule an appointment. They care more about the $50 cancellation fee than care for my kid telling me they can't reschedule anything for over 7 months. They have become to big and traded patient care and quality for numbers. They have no problem losing a patient because there is always another one to replace. It's sad because the patient is the one who is suffering. Thanks alot

We left a dentist in Nashua that was utterly terrifying and regularly made my daughter cry and made it impossible to get her there without a struggle and some tears. I was nervous she would be afraid of going to the dentist after that, but we were lucky enough to find Collins Family Dentistry in Pelham. The entire staff is so caring and welcoming that they quickly made her forget that she didn’t like the dentist and I have not had to fight her to go since.

Do not recommend them for young children under 5. My son had two fillings there and by the end he was scarred with bad experiences. I was not allowed to go back with him so I have no idea what they did to him or if they tried to hold him down against his will. They even told me “he’s strong” which meant they were physically forcing the nitrous gas mask on him. NOT how things should be handled with a 4 year old. Be aware of their sketchy practices. And go somewhere else that is more caring. They recommended I have him sedated and then gave me the run around of places that could even do that. Left me stranded trying to find a solution but as long as they didn’t have to deal with him anymore it was no sweat off their back. They make me mad just thinking about the poor handling of the situation.

I switched to find out lots of info that was never mentioned on my children’s teeth- I paid out of pocket for sealants on our 8 year old that need to be re done - Service use to be good but the last 3 years not so—- I would not recommend at this point. It seems they have too many patients to have good service any longer.

My toddler came in screaming and scared and left smiling with a cute little prize! The hygienistwas very sweet and very good with my kid. She gave her a little ride up and down on the dental chair and let her know each thing she was going to do. First she counted her teeth using a mirror, then brushed them, then did flouride paste on a brush. She let her pick the flavor from 3 flavors. She let her pick a toothbrush and a prize from the box. She left very proud of herself! Highly recommend!!!

It is funny I keep getting these messages to rate you when I didn't even make the appointment. To add insult to injury, I am being charged $50.00 for missing, even though I called in the morning to reschedule. When I called to reschedule, I was told COLDLY by your desk person JADE, that I would be charged $50 anyway because I didn't call 24 hours prior to appointment ON SUNDAY. I moved over the weekend and life happened. I was so stunned by this, I said to my kids mom that I didn't think we would be going there again. She really thought you would make it right if she called since we have had 8 children go through Collin's. She called and JADE would not help. She requested the supervisor call us back and we NEVER got the call back. NO CALL BACK? NO MORE MONEY. I get that there are rules, but I have called many other doctors and dentists over the years, when something at work came up or some other life event prevented me from keeping an appointment, but NEVER ONCE did they charge me. They were UNDERSTANDING and HAPPILY rescheduled me with NO CHARGE!!! Enjoy the $50. as you will never make money on my family again unless you are willing to make it right. I will post this review EVERYWHERE I can. I only wish I could give less than 1 star. SHAME ON YOU!!!!

What a pleasant and refreshing experience for my little girl and I! The front desk staff was attentive and friendly. The waiting room is cute and filled with toys to keep your little ones occupied while waiting (which was not long at all). Ashley, the hygenist who cleaned my daughters teeth was awesome. She has a great personality to be working with children—which is very important. She was gentle, explained and demonstrated everything before she did it, which made my daughter very comfortable. Dr. Amy, also wonderful, came in to check things over after the cleaning. She was very friendly and thorough. My daughter had such a good experience here that she asked me this morning to go back again today! LOL. Thank you for making my little girl so happy and at ease! We will be back in March for her next cleaning. Will recommend Collins Dentistry to anyone looking for a children’s dentist!

Dr. Nilfa Collins is perhaps one of the kindest, most talented pediatric dentists around! Her work is top notch and my kids love her! Unfortunately the practice was recently sold and it has been a nightmare for us since. Once we are in with her, all is great and therefor we will stay but I can't get over the change in scheduling, lack of office communication etc. since the office is under new management. I hope they work out the kinks or we will have to go. I wish I could give just Dr. Collins a rating. She is 5 stars!

Can not depend on them in an emergency. My children have been going there since toddlerhood. My 16 yr old son lost half his front tooth due to a sports injury. They repaired it. The front half fell out yesterday 3 days before starting highschool and they couldn't squeeze him in to repair it before the first day of school. Spent thousands of dollars there over the years and got a flat NO. Called my own dentist and they are squeezing him in because they are professional and empathetic. I highly recommend Randazzo Associates in Pelham.

We have been bringing our children to Collins dentistry for a couple years now and love them. We originally went to the Nashua office and were sad to see them go, but ultimately followed them to Pelham, over 25 miles away from us, because they have been so wonderful with our children. My two boys have aspergers and my daughter is not even three but all have pleasant experiences with every visit.

My 9 year old son broke his front tooth the second day of school. I call them right away and they saw us that same day. I did not expect to be seen as it was about 4:30 when I called. They called me back right away and told us to come right in for consultation. Then had us in the next day for the real work that needed to be done. My son is very terrified of anything medical.. once we got there they were all very nice and professional. The hygienist was very warm and welcoming. I’d recommend them to anyone especially nervous kiddos!

Dr. Collins is really patient with the kids and approaches them in a very gentle manner so as to comfort them through the procedure. I would highly recommend bringing kids of any age to see her!

We have been bringing our children to Collins dentistry for a couple years now and love them. We originally went to the Nashua office and were sad to see them go, but ultimately followed them to Pelham, over 25 miles away from us, because they have been so wonderful with our children. My two boys have aspergers and my daughter is not even three but all have pleasant experiences with every visit.

They are great with the kids. My kids love going, but I dread it. They are always running late. At least 20min behind every time. Then one dentist says they don’t do something then the other says they do. Wish they practiced the same.

Staff are friendly and they have always been great with my son who never loved the dentist in the beginning. Appointments usually are not on time but most I’ve waited was 30 minutes. Overall a great place to take children.

My 9 year old son broke his front tooth the second day of school. I call them right away and they saw us that same day. I did not expect to be seen as it was about 4:30 when I called. They called me back right away and told us to come right in for consultation. Then had us in the next day for the real work that needed to be done. My son is very terrified of anything medical.. once we got there they were all very nice and professional. The hygienist was very warm and welcoming. I’d recommend them to anyone especially nervous kiddos!
