I am a total fraidy cat when it comes to going to the dentist. I had very poor and traumatic experiences with dentists in the past. We met Dr. Matt outside of his practice, and after we got to know him a little bit and found out what he does for work, we gave him a shot. I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed but was scared out of my mind. Even going for a routine cleaning sends my anxiety through the roof. However, Dr. Matt (and everyone else in his office) took my concerns and fears seriously, and did everything they could to make me feel more relaxed and comfortable. I've been seeing him now for a few years, and even though I still don't enjoy the process of going to the dentist, I am not afraid anymore. His work is excellent, I 100% trust his judgment and recommendations, and they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I truly appreciate him and his office (Jessie is so sweet!) and I will recommend anyone I know looking for a dentist to him.

Fantastic office!! I couldn't say enough nice things about them. They all made me feel very comfortable and they actually listen to you. I would highly recommend this office to anyone that's had trouble finding a quality dentist.

Truly the best out there. It's very clear that Dr. Matt Heimbach cares deeply about his patients and his craft. My wife just got her wisdom teeth removed today. This would typically be a very stressful experience for her; but Abenaki made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. The staff was incredibly friendly and thoughtful while me and our 1 year old son waited for "Momma" to get her surgery done. Matt then took the time to carefully walk me through all the details of the surgery and recovery steps in layman's terms. Then, Matt personally helped me wheel my wife and son back to our home across the street! We are so lucky to have such a remarkable dental office right across the street. Abenaki and Dr. Matt get my highest recommendation.

Highly recommended. I had not been to a dentist in a very long time. Two of the dentists removed a wisdom tooth and 6 other teeth cleanly and efficiently just using novicain no problem. The office - treatment room atmosphere is relaxing, refreshing decor making it a pleasant experience. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. I would take my young child there if not grown.

Such a wonderful and friendly family dentist! My husband and I have been going here for years and when it was time for our toddler to see a dentist we brought him here! They were so incredibly patient and sweet! Totally recommend Abenaki Dental to anyone and everyone!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Heimbach's for about 6 years now and the reason is the outstanding care that I receive from everyone in his office. I recently had some major work done in the front of my mouth which you can imagine for a professional person is not easy. Dr. Heimbach made sure that I was completely comfortable with the work that was to be preformed. He also made sure that the entire time while we were waiting for the lab to send back my permanents that I looked great. Nobody could tell I was in the midst of major front teeth repair. I felt as if Dr. Heimbach cared for my teeth like they were his own. His care and professionalism along with a great office staff is the reason I drive over 40 minutes to his office in Exeter.

My daughters and I were patients of another dental practice in Exeter until four years ago. When the prior dentist told me that my 13 year old required 6 fillings, I decided to get a second opinion. Matt Heimbach had recently opened his practice in Exeter, and was able to see my daughter right away. He reviewed the Xrays from the prior dentist, and did a thorough examination of my daughter. Not only did he find no cavities, no need for any fillings, but he was flabbergasted to hear that Parsi-Osorio wanted to put six fillings in my daughter's healthy teeth! He told me she did not even have any areas on her teeth that were what he'd call "watch" areas for potential cavities. The best thing I can say about Matt is that he is HONEST - isn't that the MOST IMPORTANT quality in someone who is providing dental health care for you and your family? It is for me! Matt is also extremely competent and personable. In the past few years, he has removed some of my old silver fillings from the 60's and replaced them with ceramic inlays, a process involving the use of a high tech intraoral camera and fabrication of a ceramic inlay that is then permanently cemented into your tooth. These are way better than a crown, since they don't compromise the gum line, and so much more aesthetically pleasing than those old silver fillings! Matt and his staff are very congenial, efficient, and professional. His Hygiene staff is gentle but thorough. You will not be disappointed with Abenaki Dental, and as far as I'm concerned, your oral health is worth every penny you spend on it!
